The pic in the front: they are Javanese people. They are not Chinese. I live in Java. They are Javanese wearing Javanese traditional costumes.
Edit: The channel has changed the front cover into other pic. Now it is a pic of Africans.

@Thy Pledge, Seal and Staff Maybe not directly but ALL ( races) modern humans originate from Africa. Those who share similar hues and features to Africans are more closely linked. Of course Australian aboriginees are not "classified" as African or being of African descent but that does not mean there is not a link. We just have not found it yet. As DNA advances, our knowledge changes. Egyptions are "classified" as caucasians, not blk African. But todays DNA link them to both the blk Africans of Sudan and the Caucasus Mountians. They are obviously a mixture of both blk African & caucasian.

@@monty9619 Even if that is true, they still evolved to become completely different society and civilization, each with its own tradition, culture and identity.. Javanese culture is vastly different from Chinese/Taiwanese culture even if there are some apparent influence.. So the channel should have at least recognized this instead of being ignorant and putting the pic here, portraying it as a pic of Chinese people wearing Chinese clothes, without mentioning anything about Java (or Indonesia in general), that's just straight up disrespectful and ignorant.. And I believe that's not what this channel is about..

@Thy Pledge, Seal and Staff True...I think deep research will help peoples understand the different. Like China is not all Chinese origin, but there are different kind. In deep History Africans aren't just one tribe nor the same. Just because your dark skin doesn't mean they're African. There are LaoHoa Mheng Hmong Etc; Study show that my ancestors have been walking with Dinosaurs over 10,000 years ago. It was carve in our History and story telling through Generation. So to be real with History, African only it's own culture and races. Deep truth if people do want to understand. There are disconnected roots that even professional think they understand, but they don't. Yes our ancestors and origin dated back when the continent was once connected. But it doesn't mean we're the origin of African nation. Our ancestor and origin were once different tribe and migrated else where. Than the continent spilt in different region. Even now our DNA are not the decedents of African. You have to look and search deeper if you want to know and learn the truth.

As an Indonesian, I would like to object your description that says, "We thank you for pointing out that the thumbnail is of Indonesians but they are indeed Black Asians."
To clarify we are not 'Black Asians', we are Southeast Asians. Majority of Indonesians' ancestors are of proto-malay ethnicity, and along the course of history, intermarry with merchants from China, India and the Middle East. We also have our Melanesian brother and sister in the Eastern part of the country, but they are not African as how this video suggests. They are indigenous to the island of Papua and its neighboring islands.

as an Indonesian of Javanese ethnicity I want to point out that the thumbnail you used is of Indonesian people, the two girls on the right are Javanese (Java) and the other two girls on the left are Palembangese (Sumatra) define from the traditional dress they wore which definitely isn't Chinese since both are a few of ethnicities and culture in Indonesia. Perhaps if you would, you can use the term Asian relation to Africa instead of just "China" but using someone else culture as an example, because cultural identity is kind of a sensitive issue.
If your context is about Africa and China then don't use other people that has no correlation to your context, it's like talking about Apple and Orange but using broccoli as an example, unless you expand the definition with the rest of asia too and not just a particular country then the context would be about apple, orange and other kinds of fruits. Maybe you could also cite the origin of the people too, you could also explain about them a bit to expand the point of view.
Second, you argued about the use of the thumbnail of Indonesian culture as the term "black asian", which is ambiguous and insensitive. Each ethnicity in Indonesia has their own distinguish physical characteristics like shade of skin tone, hair, bone structure. You could use "dark skinned asian" instead since many of Indonesian and perhaps the rest of southeast asia do have darker skin tone than eastern asian.
I won't deny that any human walking on earth has african ancestry and somehow we are interconnected with one another but probably with a better wording, better insight and not to be ignorant about geography and cultural identity (differentiate of chinese and southeast asia) would minimize the misunderstanding and misinformation about the information you were giving us. Thank you

Chinese skin tone has always has variation. There's an extreme dark tan to a very jade/porcelain white. Asians don't have the word for "tan" it's common to use "black". Every geneticist agree that today's human people are descendants of Africans. My issue is your video seems to insinuate that modern day Africans are the same as modern day Asians. Even in your photos of the supposed "blacks" is more visually similar to modern day Chinese. This is a gross twist of history and culture despite admitting that there are millenniums of separation between those who stayed in Africa versus those who left Africa. Might as well say that Nazis are original Africans... see how extreme this has gotten by twisting things around, since genetically all Europeans have some of the same DNA with Africans as well.

@@babyshaya this is a political book and nothing more. You notice how there’s inferences to other cultures but the target is in chinese/Asians. Some white apologist probably helped with making this book. This book wants to push the theory that the cradle of humanity came out of Africa, but it negates and disregard evolution because the theory is related to some time period over 200,000 years ago, basically fossils are the only form of proof. When looking at genetics, Asians don’t have as much similarities with Africans as many Caucasian groups. If I were a scientist I would not look at something as benign as a pyramid or fat Buddha statue to say that resembles black nor would I use something as skin color from a black and white photo to substantiate my claims.

Neanderthal's were thought at one time to be mindless brutes, but we now know they were far more advanced, than what we thought they were- and probably influenced modern humans, and eventually mixed with them! They're really is no deffinates with humans- just theories, that may or may not be accurate for now! I believe humans probably started in Africa, because so far the oldest human fossils came from there, but realistically- though not probable, older human fossils could be found somewhere else- Human history changes all the time!

demographics (e.g. Ghana). Scientist discovered that a people who lived in a specific area(e g. Ghana) has a Genetic DNA sequence slightly different from someone who ancestors lived in Kenya due to a slight DNA mutations. For example in 1 or 2 DNA genome sequence mutation. Scientist use DNA sequence mutation found within that particular subgroup (e.g. tribe, location) to trace ancestral heritage. They can only go back 1000 years but if they could trace the Ancestral DNA +70,000 years ago(mankind began migration) out of Africa to Europe,Asia etc. then all people would discover they have African DNA.

However, I'm gonna have to call you out on referring to these communities you depict in the video as "black Asians". These communities have had a long history of being independent of their early ancestors and have developed their own identity and culture in the process. As much as I appreciate you highlighting where modern humans begin, I would appreciate it more if you can at least refer to these communities with their own appropriate unique identification and not label them simply as "black Asians".

Don't just put the pic there and portraying it as part of the Chinese people and culture.. Javanese and Chinese culture are vastly different even though there are some influence due to the interaction of the two civilizations in the past, but they both stand as their own.. Blanqueamiento is what it is called. Look it up. This ideology was so destructive, that it allowed different ethnic groups to hate dark skin. By commenting this I am in no way, shape or form trying to take away from the accomplishments of africans throughout our history, but you must be able to reflect a little on what you are saying here, By claiming that these early black people were Africans, you are also claiming that you are in fact not american because you are black, and I am not Danish because I look Asian?. They might have been black, yes, they might have ancestry in africa (like we all do), but they were chinese, just like you are american, and I am Danish.
And by the way my mother is Ainu from Hokkaido Japan, and none of us have any African DNA, we do however have alot of South American and Polynesian DNA, so to claim that the Ainu is in fact black from Africa is a long shot. Back in the days alot of genetic tests were done to finally establish the origins of the Ainu, and they tested the Sentinelese (the indigenous people of North Sentinel Island, India), they are part of a early group of people that have direct origins in Africa). They thought that the Ainu might have been an "offspring" of the same genetic group, but no. The Ainu had more Polynesian DNA than African, so according to science, you are wrong when claiming that the Ainu are of African descent (at least recent African decent).
There was never any pyramids in Japan, they are called Kofun, seen from above they look like manmade keyhole shaped islands, I have seen them in real life, and they look NOTHING like a pyramids, they are amazing and fascinating though, but not pyramids. And we know exactly who made them and when. And again, they were not black, they might have been of korean descent or even south american decent, but not African.
It is quite easy to use ancient history as a weapon in propaganda videos here on youtube, people rarely have the time to look up the truth themselves. Listen, black Africans have an immensely beautiful history, it is rich and powerful, there is tales of huge kingdoms, and gold and riches, there is no need to steal other nationalities history. Only black Americans descendants of slaves feel the need for this, to empower themselves, because they rightfully feel that their history and culture was stolen from them, the general African from Africa would not claim this, I believe...

Its obviously more appropriate to call the builders japanese even if they were dark skinned japanese. Same in building the great wall of china, It says on google that it was built by chinese slaves. It doesnt mean that our skin tone became lighter on average that were "white people " now. So the reverse is true for the time when we were dark skinned. Its like saying since everyone came from africa, black people are responsible for the invention of the iphone.

Nah, China is a huge country with multiple ethnicities. True there are Chinese who have Black features and they are direct Black descent but again showing a handful of pics aint proving your ideas. Buddha was from India so he was dark skinned.. The Manchus who ruled China in the 19th century were not ethnically the same as many of those we call Chinese - they were another Asian group. Other Chinese, for example, are genetically linked to Tibetans and so are many Koreans,
The Japanese are a mix of south-east Asian, what we call Mongolian and Korean today and Polynesian descent. Genetic research aint lying and Black scientists know that as well as white ones.

Historians believe east Asians originated in China first. From China they moved up north, known as Mongolia and they moved to parts of Russia hence why some have mixed features. They then moved to Japan, Korea and all east Asia, hence the similar bone structure and facial features, not the same but you know what I mean.
Then if it wasn't enough, the same Chinese crossed into Alaska and all the way down to the Americas both north and south.
Did you know native Americans have origins to the Chinese? This happened thousands of years ago and people of course evolved over time depending on weather, location, etc..people don't seem to mention this part of history. I just find it amazing that perhaps humans were born in three different types: black, white and east Asian.

I think it would benefit most viewers if you named the different groups of people, instead of saying 'black people'. It would definitely help in researching those subjects. For example: instead of saying "black people built the great wall of china" (which I did search up on google for little to no avail results) You could specify whether those people who built the wall were 'shangs' or 'kunluns' etc.
No disrespect, but we get it, they are black, as stated in in the video title. It's just some constructive criticism as well as my personal opinion.
Also it would be great if you could provide dates to match the video, as it would really help form and visualise these timeline of events. I know we can just search it up, but not everyone will be that interested and sometimes we are just lazy.
But all in all, a very eye opening and educational video. Thanks for sharing the research with us!
edit: also it would help if you just typed the name in chinese cause most of your pronunciations of many chinese names don't sound correct, making it very difficult to research whoever you are talking about.

The video titled "China's Original Root Was From Africa: Chinese Admit Africans Taught Them Everything!" makes unjustified claims that Chinese culture originated from Africa. Such assertions are rooted in cultural appropriation and misinformation.
First, there is no credible historical or genetic evidence that Chinese civilization originated from Africa. Chinese civilizations like the Xia and Shang Dynasties developed independently in East Asia for thousands of years through the efforts of the ethnic Chinese people.
Second, the video makes sweeping generalizations that Africans "taught the Chinese everything" based on minimal and dubious evidence. The enormous complexity and sophistication of Chinese achievements in art, architecture, science, engineering, philosophy and more make it absurd to claim they resulted entirely from African influence.
Third, claiming another culture's achievements as one's own is a form of cultural appropriation that has rightly been criticized when directed at African and other minority cultures. African-Americans in particular have advocated against the appropriation of elements like jazz, hip-hop and style. Yet the video exemplifies the appropriation of Chinese culture by incorrectly asserting an African origin.
Fourth, attributing Chinese accomplishments primarily to African influences perpetuates the racist "myth of white invention" that minimizes non-European contributions to science, technology and civilization. However, this essentializes Africa and Africans in a stereotypical and reductive manner.
In conclusion, while cultural exchange and diffusion undoubtedly occur, the video makes unfounded and inappropriate claims in an attempt to reshape Chinese history to align with a particular racial narrative. Instead of appropriating the cultures of others, we should recognize and respect their uniqueness while celebrating the common threads of humanity that unite us. For all cultures to thrive, we must move beyond outdated dichotomies and renounce the temptation to attribute "others' " achievements to our own identities and histories.

Having small eyes and a bit lighter skin is common in South Africa it has nothing to do with Asia or being of descent of Asian people.. Africa is a big place don't let the name fool you.. Black people are dramatically different.. The only similarities we have is the continent, brown skin tone..but Nelson Mandela is xhosa his looks are common from where is from. I'm Zulu a sister tribe to the Xhosa we different in looks but yet similar compared to the other South African tribe and drastically different (in my opinion) to Tribes outside of South Africa. Specially Central and western African tribes.. How Mandela and some Asian people look alike is call convergent evolution. We all are human beings after all we bound to look some what alike

The first Africans arrived in China as gifts from the King of Kalinga in Java to the Tang emperor in 813 A.D. These young boys and girls were treated as exotic ornaments, no different from the rhinoceros and other animals they were presented alongside. The Chinese called them Zangzi ,a reference to Zanzibar, which at that time described the whole length of the Eastern African coastal region, including Madagascar. Nothing is known about the fate of these child slaves, who disappear from the historical record after a single brief mention.
In later accounts, African slaves turn up as the personal property of Arab merchants residing in Chinese port cities such as Guangzhou, which housed a significant Arab community. The average Guangzhou resident is likely to have encountered Africans as she went about her daily tasks. Eventually, wealthy Chinese also started demanding such slaves in large numbers. This required a supply line beginning from East Africa, traversing the Indian Ocean, stopping in India and finally crossing the Malaccan Straits to reach the port cities of China. The journey took approximately six months and shipwrecks were a common hazard. Many captives must have died along the way. Even those who made it to China alive could still perish suddenly while trying to acclimatize to the new environment. As one Song Dynasty (960-1279 A.D.) government official observed: “If in captivity, they are fed cooked food, after several days they get diarrhoea … For this reason they sometimes fall ill and die.” Although the chronicler attributed these deaths to a change in diet, the cumulative effects of disease and ill treatment on the sea voyage would have taken a toll as well. “If they do not die, one can keep them,” the chronicler writes. The implication is clear: they were solely regarded as chattel.
