Here's the milder version of entomatadas that you guys asked for. 🙌🏼 Hope this helps you out. 😊🙏🏼 th-cam.com/video/ve85jpL1_Zg/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for this recipe. Where did you get your comal/griddle?
Yea it’s weird we all went to spaghetti on this video about entomatadas
I actually add pace salsa the hot flavor to my spaghetti. So flavorful.
@@plantmom1010 comal? Griddle you speak Spanish.?
THANK YOU ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
When I use green onions I save two root white bottoms , put in a small shot glass or ounce type glass of water. This grows me constant chives as long as the water is kept in .
I made this for my wife this morning and she said “perfecto” thank you. 😉
Yes🙌🏼
Good man😊
My Grandmother would simmer thin cut pork chops with el pato , and other things like potato, and onions. Served With fresh homemade tortillas ! Yum. I miss her and all the great food she made for us!
I use the salsa de pato for chilaquiles and topped with feta cheese and eggs! Yummy
As a resident of Arizona, I love your Mexican/American fusion food! I have used them many times with great results. I really love the Korean/Asian blends. Keep up the content. The simplicity is the best part as I am the man that cooks for my family. I am actually making the white chicken chili tonight for dinner using chicken thighs.
I used to put a can of the hot version of that sauce into spaghetti so my roommates wouldn't eat it. One of them shouted when she took some and tried to eat it, but she never did that again without asking. I'd love to see a milder version of enchilada sauce.
LMAO! Thank you, I needed a good giggle. I would also like to see a mild version of the sauce.
@@ShaelynneDFuller El Pato also has an enchiladas sauce in a large can. Their sauces are delicious as store brands. The can color is red and it says Enchiladas sauce.
Just add some sour cream, and chicken broth with a pinch or so of chicken bullion. You can also add whatever cheese and spices. I would also cook some fresh tomatoes with onion and garlic blend this in with your El pato sauce.
I'm curious to try the sauce since I don't generally like enchilada sauce. Would queso fresco work in the filling?
@@suzanneroberge494 yes
Pato sauce 🦆 is a staple in my kitchen. I make fresh fried corn tortilla chips and lay them all across a flat tray, I pour that sauce over all the chips straight from the can, I add beans (refried in their own juice no oil/slightly runny, shredded cheese, chopped tomatoes, chopped green onions, and chopped black olives. Bake until the cheese melts and when it comes out you can add cilantro & avocado 🥑, I sometimes even add more heat with chopped jalapeños from a jar or any meat your want. This is one of the quickest Friday night meals that’s so fun and easy. I also use it for my Mexican rice. I use chicken broth (a tad under 2 cups) then I add just enough Pato sauce to create the full 2 cups of liquid and I cook the rice as usual. It’s so flavorful. I could go on and on with all the ways I use this sauce. Oh they also make the enchilada sauce in a bigger can. I use the can for potted plants 🪴 on my patio. My husband drills a hole at the bottom and they are so cute for herbs too. You should do a whole series on cooking with Pato sauce. Oh and the simple salsa too it’s a perfect base. 💕
Same here, a staple in my pantry and reuse tins on the patio😊
Onionladas. My moms favorite. We didn’t always have meat. Delicious!
I could eat this every day, for every meal. Perfect food.
I made this for dinner new family favorite. thank you for your videos.
It's kind of like chilaquiles! I totally get it I love the red chilaquiles or green chilaquiles with basically enchiladas that are cut up you put the cheese and onion on top and an egg!🥰
Woe!Woe!! Wow. This is delicious. I made it this morning .first time using the el pato sauce ,breakfast was out of this world. I put little avacodo, sourcream on side 😋🤦♀️my it's good 👍 definitely a stapel now. Lots of flavor in sauce . THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!
Cheese and onion enchiladas is my favorite too.
I love making enchiladas, they are so easy and simple if you want simple. Really, enchiladas are so good
Cheese and onions where my grandmother's favorite
This is a quick simple an old school way!! My mom does this just like you ..onions an cheese with oregano in the sauce
Cheese & onion are my favorite for the filling in enchilada. Occasionally chicken. These remind me of the New Mexico style enchiladas I grew up with. They didn't always roll them, usually they would stack and top with a fried egg. Thanks for sharing all of your delicious recipes. I have learned so much from you!
did you order red, green or Christmas for sauce?
Chilaquila style is easier.
I'm in AZ but all my family is from Burque and Alamogordo, the stacked enchiladas with an egg on top is my favorite of all time..along with stuffed sopapillas...my mouth is watering now
@@betokendollcrotchorourke6007 I grew up in Las Cruces and La Posta was a favorite place to eat.
I would love a mild sauce... By the way I just love your show you're one of my favorite people to watch.

Love the canned el pato and herdez....oh my...you can cook..simple and delicious food..
This but with queso fresco and onion
Side of sautéed carrots and diced potatoes is 🔥
A favorite go to of mine! Without the egg, and a touch of chicken minced up and from the refrig! I could eat this each and every day...really! God bless you...
I need this in my life.
Yup! I love my enchiladas with fresh (Ranchero) cheese and onions!😋
I love onions in enchiladas!💕
Great video. Usually I don't like videos using canned goods as to me it isn't cooking. But El Pato Sauce is just a necessary ingredient to me for Mexican cooking. I had to think back, but it was nearly 40 years ago and I was working with a cool Mexican man in a small business. He turned me on to El Pato sauce long before it was a thing that most people (especially old white guys) knew about. I use it for a lot of things. It is cheap too. (Although inflation is raising its price). I'll make some easy red rice (arroz rojo) just by sauteing some onions and using the El Pato Sauce to replace some of the water when making the rice. Easy and good.
Super easy to make and delicious too. You can use any filling you'd like with condiments you like! Thank you😂
Cheese and onion are my favorite too. Yummy. I bake mine in the oven on a cookie sheet.
Love this recipe! I use El Pato on everything, it’s great. I use the green can which has a bit more of a bite. You’re my favorite and watch all the time. Keep up the fantastic work!
I use El Pato a lot too, also Del Fuego for when people think El Pato is "too much" lol
I use cheese and onion also someone so special to me I used to watch her cook there was a language barrier but we figured it out and all her recipes are special to me🥰🥰🥰
New Saturday morning go too meal❤
I've always mixed it in my enchiladas sauce... wonderful flavor.
*I absolutely love Mexican food and thanks to you I can make it! Thanks!* 😎👍
I will be making this. I m an elder so easy stuff will be good for me. I Liked the one you showed on a video with queso Fresca, onions and the salsa verde I love that.
Your recipes are an absolute life saver! My wife stays busy with her business and I always feel so guilty getting the kiddos fast food after I get off work but your recipes are so easy and so delicious I’m able to make home cooked meals for the entire family. I love your channel! God Bless You!
El Pato is delicious, they have their own flavor. This looks delicious
Yum, enchilada galore, enchiladas de pollo 🍗, enchiladas de papa 🥔 , enchiladas de queso con 🧅, entomatadas, enfrijoladas 🤤 oh all so yummy
I love El Pato ❤ can’t pick a favorite, love the red, green, & yellow cans 😍
Very simple and it looks delicious and I bet it tastes even better
Amazing recipe I could eat everyday yummy Thank you for sharing Angelika have a blessed day stay safe and healthy.🙏❤🦋
I am a new mom and expecting another baby soon! Thank you for this! I have no energy these days so this helps!
I don’t know but your spirit just makes me so happy! My grandma was Hispanic and Spaniard but passed away while I was young so I don’t have many recipes from her but I know she would love you!! Thank you for sharing 💗
I now use El Pato Hot Tomato Sauce in so many different ways because of this video. So good.
I have to agree with you, cheese and onion are so good 🤤😋
Thank you for this, I have never tried the pato brand but now I'm going to have to buy it. They look scrumptious 😋 😍
That stuff is so dang good!!!
Good Job Mama! Im going to try this. We really like your home cooking. Keeping it simple and inexpensive.
Cheese and onion is my favorite filling for Chile rellenos, but I also like a little finely diced green olives in my cheese enchiladas!☺️🙏❤️
Yum! Cheese and onion make the best enchiladas/entomatadas!
Cheese & onion are the best!! 🤤
These look great! Here in New Mexico we use chile colorado or chile caribe and there's a huge debate about whether enchiladas should be rolled or flat. I had never heard of entomatadas until a couple of years ago but I love the idea of busting out a can of El Pato for a quick meal. Around here, we love green chile chicken enchiladas as well. They aren't really enchiladas, but more of a 1950s style casserole with chile and tortillas. I don't know if they're a thing outside of New Mexico but if you haven't had them they're delicious! Thanks for sharing all these great recipes!
My mother was from Albuquerque, and she taught me to make it casserole style as well. It's my favorite way ti make, and it feeds more and on the cheap. But I love the rolled enchiladas too.
My family has been using El Pato for decades. I use it for a quick beef taco recipe instead of the powdered junk with all the preservatives and other garbage. We also make a Velveeta/ground beef dip with french bread for Superbowl. I use it in my rice... it's great.
Love enchiladas. Gonna have to make this. Cotija and Mozzarella? Yes please!!
Great tip putting in the food processor kuddos. 👍👍👍
After watching your video on how to make enchiladas with green sauce I've made that dish a weekly staple in my dinner rotation. So delicious and easy. Thank you for sharing your amazing recipes!!

I’m going to make this for my boyfriend on Saturday. Looks so delicious. Can’t wait to make them and eat them. 😍😍😍😍
I was making enchiladas for dinner. I always have a couple cans of "The Duck" so I will be trying this method tonight!
Oh my goodness! I made these for me and the hubs! So good! We use El Pato for chicken tacos all the time, but never thought to use it for cheese enchiladas! Yum yum! 😎
Really enjoy your content. Made this a handful of times 10/10 every time. 😋Thank you for yummy realistic recipes.
I like to fry the tortillas first, then soak them in the sauce so there less greasy, I have use el pato sauce many times for cheese and onions enchiladas
This looks delicious and so simple. Thanks for sharing.
thanks for cooking with things we have in our pantries!
My mouth is watering 🤤 my favorite is cheese and onions too but a close favorite to that is veggie enchiladas with sautéed potatoes, carrots, onions and chihuahua cheese as the filling!! Food coma after that meal 😋
This is one of my favorite Mexican breakfast. At the restaurant I like to go to have them they are called “ Huevos A Caballo”. So good!
Enchiladas one of my most favorite!!!! Looks yummy!
I have a friend that does this with the green sauce, onion and quezo fresco or cotija. It's really good to. 👍 Here's to a good weekend. I'd like the milder version porfavor
I ordered your cookbook from Amazon. Can't wait til it gets here!
I love everything you make always delicious. ❤❤❤❤
I use pato sauce for my enchiladas and for many other dishes so easy and is perfect tasting
I got so excited when I saw you use the El Pato tomato sauce! I like the one in the green can best and I use it and the Embassa Chipotle peppers when I make the sauce for my chicken enchiladas. I'm definitely going to try this recipe for breakfast soon!! Yum!
I love Pato sauce! Thank you for sharing this!
My family has been using El Pato here in the Southwest since I was a kid. I’m 45 now so yeah, long time 😆. I always keep some on hand. It’s good by itself & I use it all the time as a base for a quick & easy salsa fresca for tacos, on eggs, with tortilla chips, etc..
I’m partial to the yellow can but the green one is great, too. I think the green one is just a tad hotter & I switch them up depending on my mood.
Quick easy salsa:
1 7.75oz can of el pato sauce
1 10oz can rotel or store brand version is fine- mild, original or hot depending on YOUR heat preference.
1 garlic clove
1/4 of a medium sized yellow, white or red onion-use less or more to your preference.
1/4 cup cilantro- can add more or leave out
Half of a fresh squeezed lime
1/2 tsp Badia Complete Seasoning or salt & pepper to taste.
Optional: add some fresh or roasted jalapeño/Serrano/your favorite chile to kick up the heat.
Throw everything in a food processor or blender and process to whatever consistency you like. Sometimes I like it thin, sometimes chunky. If I want it to be chunky then I’ll add in the rotel/diced tomatoes at the end after everything else has been blended and just pulse it a couple of times.
If it’s not spicy enough for you, you can add some fresh jalapeño, serrano, or whatever chile peppers you like 👍. Sometimes I’ll stir in some thinly sliced green onion or even some diced avocado. So many ways to switch this up and will taste better than any jar stuff imo 😁
Going to try it! Sounds great!
I make ground beef, rice, peppers & onions with ElPato and tomato sauce. My favorite comfort meal.
BTW for those that don’t want it too hot, I would just use 1 can of ElPato and 1 can of tomato sauce.
I’m definitely going to try the recipe from the video.
❤️
Absolutely love the idea of how you did this. Thank you.
I have been making this for years! I remember one year my three kids were away on vacation for 10 days and I made this for dinner 8 out of the 10 days! Lol
Great recipe! Thank you very much for sharing! 👍👍👍👍👍
That's my go to when I eat out cheese and onion enchiladas yummy.mild please
🙏❤🦋
I'm glad I saw this video..I'm not Mexican, I'm Carribean. But I'm alone, and here in Las Vegas learning how to cook Mexican has been a time saver? I either have the fresh fried tortilla chips to make me a good plate of Nachos, with ground beef, chicken or even shrimp. I love it it's fast to throw together! Or I buy the pre-made Sopes from the store and make them..depending on if it's for Lunch or Dinner, I have just 1, or 2! I have a Pato sauce can right now, but I'd rather make Entomatadas for the week instead? The Pato sauce is quite picoso to make enchiladas with? I use that more to make Chilaquiles with🎉)
I give that recipe an A+. That looks so good with a fried egg. Great job Mrs. Angelica.
This is how my grandfather made me enchiladas growing up ❤️❤️❤️
This is my type of cooking and my type of enchilada! Simple and quick but delicious!
Yum!
I’ll be making these every day now
My favorite is cheese and onion also. I love all enchiladas but the sauce from fresh chilies and cheese not melted just is my most favorite. But I will eat any enchilada. I just made chili Verde with Anaheim and Serrano peppers and they were so good.
Hi Looks Good Yum Thanks For Sharing I Will Try It. Thank You. Stay Safe.
I always have 4 or 5 cans of El Pato yellow can in the pantry. It's my go to for instant pot Mexican rice. Great finds in the "international foods" aisle if you take some time.
What's your recipe for your rice, please?
