Christopher Wylie is the only one who has given specific techniques, emails, documents, contracts, and detailed explanations as to how Cambridge Analytica was involved in the elections, and other endeavors. This guy is skirting around every single question, and hasn’t explained anything.
Where is he now? How many people have died from a virus they vould have been spared from if some people weren’t choosing to use pandemic denial as ‘just social media marketing’?

I'm really impressed by the gentleman directing the questions (Mr. Collins). From @0:40 and on, you can tell that Alexander Nix has gotten too comfortable with his ability to manipulate people and steer conversations. He's being very bull-headed, saying he "insists" on things, acting as though he was the one in charge and leading the hearing. I am so impressed by with how many times Mr. Collins absolutely objects to him, repeatedly to a frustrating degree, but does not waver - respectfully and firmly denying him, over and over. What Alexander Nix was attempting is called "priming" - he wants to prime everyone listening to his responses with HIS message BEFORE the questions allow them to form their own opinions. They also do this in marketing - good marketers will show you many different ads in a row, over the course of days, the first to prime you (for example, to quote their own techniques: to suggest Hilary is crooked), and another to expound upon that original suggestion, and then a final message with a call to action (vote Trump, he will stop "Crooked Hilary"), and possibly follow-ups to remind you. The terrifying beauty of this technique is that it is more convincing to the viewer, because during the first few messages, it would appear at first glance that the advertiser is a "concerned citizen" or unbiased third party sponsor, who only wants to warn you about the opposing candidate. You might not even catch on that the later messages are even related to the first ones that primed you. I challenge anyone reading this to be more skeptical of the messages they're receiving and the motivations behind them. Ask yourself why Trump and Trump's campaign would spend this much money, targeting and re-targeting Americans, to elect a president who's not interested in the meager salary.
Trump loves power he wants more power to clean up peados in Hollywood and the democratic party which is a good thing but was it legal to manipulate voters in this way? Why is our data being used to benefit others?
Nix was using a dangerous strategy to speak as if he was chair of the committee. He is there to answer questions, ideally as honestly and as truthful as possible not provide statements that were not requested.
Do you realise that you just described Joe Rogan and Russell Brand? Priming is exactly the role they now play in disinformation dissemination. This is still happening but now we are seeing the consequences of manipulating millions of people. It can, and has broken people. I cannot speak to percentages but it is clear that some have had psychological breakdowns because of the impact of building trust with a network that systematically asks them to believe mistruths. A human cannot maintain good health while subjected to that level of manipulation.

I read Alexander Nix 2020 now apparently he never went to prison is married to some Norwegian heiress. All told doing pretty well and has links to a similar firm that CA was. Basically he's stuck a very prim and proper two fingers at the MPs got slapped with a fine. Free as a bird and doing well. I have to admire the guys nonchalance whilst answering question he's whole attire and demeanour. What All of this proves is that the rich take care of each other and boy oh boy is there a class system still in England.

I love how in the hearing they were attempting to prevent him from presenting his opening statement to eliminate persuasion of listening perceptions. He kept interrupting to maintain control within the first three minutes. Ridiculous and rude.

Body language can be misleading so be careful about judging someone solely on that. At 12:00 he responds to a question with a question of his own. It’s strikes me as a calculated “how much do you have on me?” kind of question tbh.

Nix was being obtuse. He was told multiple times he is there to answer questions yet he tried at every opportunity to project information that was not requested to try and influence the committee’s opinion of him. Extremely rude of him to speak as if he was chairing the meeting. He must have thought he was still at a Cambridge Analytica meeting and he was still CEO.

CA only crime was being too successful in their campaign operations. If people dont read user agreements before use services a company somewhere is going to capitalize on that. Working with data sets that include information of what people dream of is a whole other matter!
The science CA was using was not only straight out of psychology research groups in universities it was, at the time, proven to work "in the wild" by the successes of their previous campaigns.
Knowing of which you dream is frighteningly powerful! Even with, say, 20% accuracy the power that wiuld give an unscrupulous user us immense. And it looks to me as if their accuracy in nailing your fears, hopes & dreams was much, much higher than 20%!
