I have Kushaq for almost 18 months now and already clocked 23000kms. What you mentioned in this video is absolutely true, even I have been facing all these issues in this car.
Agree with every single thing you said! I drive a Virtus 1.0 MT, and I face these issues as well. I really hope they can figure out a solution in Kylaq. Thinking of trading in Virtus for that, once it launches. Don't want to go with Maruti, Tata, Mahindra. I would love to see VW/Skoda do well and would love to stick with them for the fun in driving. But on the other hand, comfort matters and can't be ignored.
I have driven the car 25000 K in 14 Months. totally agree with all the points. I have now learnt how to get the good milage and now I can fetch 16-18 with soft paddel.
i too own a kushaq ambition 1.0 AT brother, except for plastic creaking noise ,boot lid issue i have experienced break noise especially when brake pads are wet
will the boot light be on automatically when opened or is there a provision to turn this off as well like a small switch (like in the Jimny for example)?
Seeing your video after a long gap. My observations running Style Kushaq 1.5 MT 2K kms in last 2 months 1. So far Window issue not faced, will wait and see If i face this issue 2. Noises are really unpleasant which u mentioned, i too have observed 3. I drove light foot with linear accelerations, in Bangalore traffic I get 8-9km in traffic. It is inevitable I have to live with this traffic 4. AC - hard buttons would be good, I still finding it hard to operate with soft touch. It is pathetic 5. Clutch - So far i haven't felt is hard/ deep, it is ok. May be i shifted from diesel car so far not an issue I found 6. AC is not that effective but for Bangalore weather it is ok I feel Conclusion: Though I like this vehicle sometimes thinking to sell the car If i get good pricing. For me most of the drive within city and his car made for highways this is what I am experiencing over 2 months.
According to many owners feedback we can easily conclude VW-Skoda has compromised on Quality fronts in their 2.0 MQB AO platform. It does not compare to their German Quality Standards set by their discontinued Polo & Vento-Rapid. Apart from Japanese. Koreans & Chinese are going Germans & have improved their Quality offerings. Whereas Germans are on the path of Quality compromise. That's the reason why Kushaq-Taigun Sales nos are declining every month. Hope they realise their mistakes & improves their Quality offerings before it's too late for them to survive in India.

Germans apart from localisation they have gone for Cost Cuttings hence their is drop in Quality Standards. The dies are imported all they have to do is set the metallurgy composition or content. We are capable enough to produce the best in the world. QC is most important thing in any manufacturing process. Germans have stated we have over Engineered our Cars. To me it's a lame excuse for Cost Cuttings & compromise on Quality Standards.

And they have build Trust, Confidence and Reliability among Indians. VW-Skoda Inspite of being in India for 20 years their brand image is poor among Indians. India has always been a price concise market & unless you localise and offer better than Competition you cannot make big Sales nos. to survive.

Variant was 13 lacs with 5 stars on GNCAP. My friend has clocked in 1.7 lac kms on that This has gone too long and far out for these companies trying to sell their over priced substandard products in the name "BUILD QUALITY" Im no Maruti or Tata fan, owned a Polo myself, but bro you'll never tailgate issues even from cars like celerio or ignis. 😊
Honestly speaking This car is not upto the mark. Buy if u want only driving pleasure, other tha that it’s just waste of money. Can you believe that the doors of kushaq rattle like roadways bus window glasses. And service center are just helpless because it is a manufacturing defect which no one can resolve. I myself have been to various service centre’s just for door rattling noise and now i feel like i am travelling in a roadways bus. I have lost all the hope and accepted that this issue can never be resolved no matter how hard anybody tries. Plz look for some reliable brand.

Hey bhai, don't go on the problems told by him, may be specific in his car. I also using Kushaq 1.0 from 5-6 months, but I never observed such problems. Go for 2024 model. No other car may give you driving confidence like Kushaq and Slavia.
I am getting kushaq 1.5 auto 2024 model 14.5 lakhs just 3500 km done. Should i buy that car in this price or not. Car is like new. No touching, paint or accident.

I have the 1.0 litre Taigun Highline AT since Dec 2023 and have started experiencing the weird brake noise since May of this year and it is super irritating....pl do let us know if you find any solution for this problem
Facing steering rack noise but service centre guys arent accepting For them its normal but i dont know how that annoying noise below the steering is normal
Even i am facing the same issue.. i had to replace the steering rack through warranty but even then the knocking sound is still prevalent while going through sharp bumps..

It’s an age old concept for high torque machines. But the problem arise when one switches from NA to Turbo but drives like NA

1.Get software update for driver side window roll up down. 2.I'm using ambition classic, it has AC knob for controlling. 3. Mileage with AC in city drive is low, but on highway with AC it's good. 4. Panels press kon karta hai? 😀 5. AC cooling is poor 6.breaking noise is present in all disc brake cars. It's when you drive a car after a week of gap. For daily users it's not a problem 7. Agree on rear AC vents, it doesn't cool 8. Boot issue is with your car only 9. Dead paddle should not be an issue. 10. Agree on deep n hard clutch 11. Horn not laud , kuch bhi. Get it replaced with skoda dual tone horn. The most important issue you forgot to mention is gear shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 1st is really hard. You should have talked about that
1. Software updated & power window motor replaced...still problem persists 4. This becomes reason lately for squeaking sound in cabin while driving 8. Check TeamBHP PS : Gear shifting is smooth in my case.
Thank you for the video! I was planning for 1.5 mt but dropping the idea! Even at this price, it has issue, my Baleno is much better for common person! No such sound in cabin while in pothole or over speed breaker, even after 6 years of use. AC cooling is ultimate! No clutch related issue, Drives 140 kmph without any vibration. I have applied emergency breaks at 100 kmph multiple times, no issue! I am used to drive Mumbai Ahmedabad Highway, you need to cut through gaps between trucks, it takes overtake or lan changes effortlessly at 100 kmph (its impossible to drive 100+ continuously on that route- whatever car you have, esspecially surat bharuch patch). Need to give proper thought now before booking 1.5 MT.

Even i am planning to buy taigun/kushaq 1.5, but sometimes i get confused by watching the videos of problems, should i go for them or not? What I'll do with driving dynamics, if normal problems keeps continuing?? That's why their brands are poor in sales, they keep chirping about dynamics and safety which super important in a car, but they forget that other parts are also important which makes a good family car, that's why Nexon creta selling more.

Even with all these issues this car is good in many aspects, all these issues don't bother me much when compared with it's drivability, comfort, performance, safety. I think 1.5 is gem of a engine. You should take long test rides of your preferred vehicles and then decide. Issues mentioned in video should not bother much as every car has their own set of issues. No car is perfect, it's all about what your heart feels right.

We should really be making videos and asking local manufacturers in India to step up their game, and provide excellent quality, when german cars or any other good brands, wants to localise parts and make it affordable. Otherwise, these videos are useless and to be honest does not address the real problem. If German quality end to end is needed, get ready to pay 100% customs and taxes 😊 any localised cars or bikes are of poor quality because WE make sub standard quality items in India, which is a huge area for improvement
You made a list of problems what they can be, but forgot to revise them. If these problems are in your car only then try to solve and then go for comment. I never faced such long list except 1 or 2 in my Kshaq 1.0 What I feels because of too much of negative videos on social media, Skoda is dying in India, and Indians are getting fooled by other auto makers.

But honestly, most of the issues you mentioned are actually not- 1. it’s been more than a year for my car and I have faced only once or twice power window issue and after the update it rolls more smoothly now. (No replacement or anything) 2. That tail gate issue you mentioned, that is specific to your car only so, please have that checked or maybe recognise the pattern when and why it happens. 3. Regarding brake noise it is specific to only 1.0 ltr engine. I haven’t seen any in my 1.5. 4. Just replace the horns man (good enough for me)😊 5. Hard suspensions is to better the driving dynamic, yes it could’ve been better but if you get something and you lose another. 6. AC problem agreed but not even that worse like you mentioned. No car of this range now-a-days is perfect. So, still a proud skoda owner🍻

Go to a car audio installer,some 8000 indian rupees basic dampening of doors get done. Point out rattling, if it's the locks, then no help

I have a 1.5 AT. Excellent car. No problem. I have it since last 15 months. Drove it continuously for 1250 kms in a day, of course with few breaks

We should really be making videos and asking local manufacturers in India to step up their game, and provide excellent quality, when german cars or any other good brands, wants to localise parts and make it affordable. Otherwise, these videos are useless and to be honest does not address the real problem. If German quality end to end is needed, get ready to pay 100% customs and taxes 😊 any localised cars or bikes are of poor quality because WE make sub standard quality items in India, which is a huge area for improvement

You made a list of problems what they can be, but forgot to revise them. If these problems are in your car only then try to solve and then go for comment. I never faced such long list except 1 or 2 in my Kshaq 1.0
What I feels because of too much of negative videos on social media, Skoda is dying in India, and Indians are getting fooled by other auto makers.
Bro buy a truck😂. But honestly, most of the issues you mentioned are actually not-
1. it’s been more than a year for my car and I have faced only once or twice power window issue and after the update it rolls more smoothly now. (No replacement or anything)
2. That tail gate issue you mentioned, that is specific to your car only so, please have that checked or maybe recognise the pattern when and why it happens. 3. Regarding brake noise it is specific to only 1.0 ltr engine. I haven’t seen any in my 1.5.
4. Just replace the horns man (good enough for me)😊
5. Hard suspensions is to better the driving dynamic, yes it could’ve been better but if you get something and you lose another.
6. AC problem agreed but not even that worse like you mentioned.
No car of this range now-a-days is perfect. So, still a proud skoda owner🍻
