I thought that was a pretty cool comparison between the 3, bravo for shooting that under those conditions, Riga really looked amazing under that light. I've just picked up an Air 2s to go with the Mini 2 and it does feel a completely different piece of kit. Your videos show what is achievable, keep 'em coming.

M3 with the best image quality is expected but for the Mini 2 to actually be in this comparison keeping up with the high end models is really impressive.
now compare MA2 HDR vs Mavic 3 HLG vs A2S HLG (maybe add M2pro HLG), I really like this comparison. Real world examples well made. short to the point. Not many a proper reviews like this on yt! sir! btw. Riga is beautiful! i have to visit Lativia one day!
in full auto specifically the Air 2S was miles ahead in every lighting to me. in darker lighting the Mavic 3 pulled ahead of the Air 2 but in bright lighting they were similar.
IN Dlog I actually think the Air2s came last. I thought the Air2s was X and Air2 Z, as it did not look good when I saw this on a 4K OLED 7:10 had way less details then X with Air2 It puzzles me how Air2 can balance that sun, as its not even close. The Air2S is blownout in the back and the foreground is even darker.. the Air2 is more well-lit and even maintaining the sun in the back. 8:26 Air2S /sun blown and foreground dark 8:32 Air2 HDR model /sun's highlight contained and foreground even more welllit then Air2s.. but its been the "Air2" partytrick for years, this weird HDR feature and ablelity to balance high & lows.. th-cam.com/video/F4IvhgLAqPc/w-d-xo.html
on the mavic air 2 in HDR mode, I use the desaturation in the highlights curve in post-production and the effect is great. By default, HDR videos on air 2 have too much saturation in bright areas of the sun and it looks artificial

Great to have a comparison which is without knowledge of which drone is which. I really liked the Air 2s image quality, but the MA2 really have great HDR, so it'll be a though choice for me. Holy shaboobies. I really though my Drone B was the Mavic 3 since it was the best imagine imo. This is just confirming my bias to buy Drone B as I currently only have the mini

I dont think it looked good at 7:10.. I actually concluded (but you really need to blow it up on a big screen.. fx an 4K OLED TV and the differences and lack of detail stands out) Z =Air2 X = Air2s Y = M3 and that was wrong.. X was actually "Air2" and Z was "Air2S" it was not least this shot 7:10 that made me believe that Z couldn't be Air2S as I didn't think it looked good and with inferior details vs X. I was leaning towards X as my favorable, and that it was the old Air2..so yeah a little supprised by that.. but yeah.. likely my own mistake - as Air2 was a spectacular good drone and sadly got its launch stolen by Air2s and almost to a point, that I reckon people forgot how solid that drone actually performs, even in 2022. Am I the only one who thought that the Mavic 3 looked terrible in the first test on full auto? Oversharpened, looked like lower resolution. And also, when you showed the Mini 2 compared to the others it looked awesome to me, especially considering it got the least light. Really impressive for that little guy :)

DJI is sneaky as f.. that pricereduction on the Air2.. where it was incl, with that like 200US flymore combo (value of parts at like 450USD) It was like 790 on Air2 with flymore combo, so without flymore, its more like 590USD for the DJI Air2, though obviously not for sale without # Mini2 450 (with flymore combo = 600USD) # Air2 590USD (with flymore combo = 790USD) # DJI Air2S 1000USD. ( with flymore combo = 1300USD) Hmm if you in the market for a drone and sub250g ain't a specific need and you planning to get the flymore with your choice..hmm... IM supprised how well the Air2 stacks up against DJIs topcontender in 2022.. i actually though the Air2s was the Air2 in the above shots. The Air2 is still a shockingly attractive 4K60 drone with 70kmh speed, and 34min flytimes, and a weirdly good HDR, and all the bells and whistles and that gorgeous 1080p streamfeed.
Drone C was obviously the 3. Not knowing Mini 2 was eliminated yet, I was unsure if B was Mini 2 or Air 2 (I have all 3 of these so I have more experience than most. I could spot 3 in every single case. Bet you had to be careful to avoid the giveaway lens flare, 😆

It’s not the same… not like the one on mavic air 2. HLG is just a color profile. Hdr mode on air 2 is like hdr video on iPhone. It’s different. When it works - it works wonders.

action 2 built in mic for outside shots and for shots indoors I had the Rode micro on a stand. :)

not specifically on mavic air 2, but I have one for air2s which is pretty similar.
The Mavic 3 looked best to me but then it’s twice the price of the Air 2s. Although personally I don’t think it’s worth the money
