What a breath of fresh air! I’ve been struggling to shorten my learning curb for a deadline tomorrow. Just bought the drone yesterday. This video takes a huge load off my shoulders. If you’re doing these to make people happy, you sure accomplished it!
I have other issues with video editing. I’ve downloaded Rush which I was able to figure out, but I know I need to buy a program to get all the functionality. I’m editing on an iPad Pro vs my computer. Using drone for Realestate as well. Thanks again.

I appreciate your thoroughness in this video. It may have been a bit longer than you wanted, but I think it was worth it. Finally, maybe it doesn't need saying, but after you've watched this video, go out and try it all out, noting what works best for you and getting used to the controls. Keep using them till it's second nature where to find them.

Very interesting point on shooting at -1.0 I'd usually aim for 0.0 on the light metre but as you've stated this can result in over-exposed skies etc. Out of interest, I try and stick at ISO 100, maybe 200 at max, have you found that footage results in lots of noise at above anything higher than ISO 200? Good explanation of exposure on the Air 2S.

Thanks for the excellent video, Jared. You have a new subscriber. I have a question regarding the 5.4k resolution in the Air 2S. I do my editing in Davinci 17. Do I need to select the H265 setting in Davinci in order for the video to playback? I recently flew my new Air 2S, and I'm able to see the video download on my computer but when I transfer the video into my Davinci editor, the video will not link. Any suggestions?

Nice video mate, really enjoyed that 👍🏻 …can I just clarify - you said that in pro mode, you make sure the EV is not at 0.0, but you don’t have control of that in pro, only auto? Also, at the end, you say to format the card in the drone, but it’s a good idea to have a simple text file on the SD card with your name, number and email - should you lose the drone 👍🏻

Just got the Air 2S, upgrading from a Phantom 4 Pro in my real estate photography business. Thanks for a very helpful tutorial! Subscribed. I was bummed that this drone only has an f2.8 aperture, but if I pick the right filter for the day, just having ISO and shutter speed is enough to manage exposure. I do it a little different though. I set the shutter manually to the 180-degree rule, and then set auto-ISO. If I use the right ND filter the ISO shouldn't go too high and I want to keep the motion blur as natural as possible. Still, I'll try it your way for a while and see what kind of results I get. It may be better! I've only flown a couple of test missions so far but am blown away by how much I can zoom in when I film at 5.4K! This will really give me a lot of flexibility with pan-and-zoom to make exciting videos!!! Thanks again, Jerad. You are an excellent communicator.

The Air2S is an AMAZING drone. It’s extremely nimble and fast- yet can be incredibly stable when shooting photos and video. If you can spring for the fly more combo to get the smart controller with it - I think it’s a much better buy than the mini 3 pro overall.

    • @kennethjonesphotography

@@dmac8247 I did buy the Fly More package and I'm grateful that I did. I've been learning to fly this drone and find it to be very stable in moderately high winds. But, I'm still trying to get comfortable with it, but having a hell of a time learning how to make smooth height and direction adjustments which are still a bit herky jerky.
