  • Here is the latest car to hit the yard - a 2010 Honda Jazz.
I took this Jazz in part exchange against the Honda CRV you saw me working on a few weeks ago.
With the amount of cash that came in on top of this Jazz against the CRV, that means it is in essence a FREE car as it sits right now, but i have a few jobs i want to do before i sell it on, so follow along as i take the Jazz through the sale-prep process... Enjoy!

We had a 2011 Fit Sport in America. Brilliant car! Very well designed, rock solid reliable, Japanese engineering at its finest! I just sold it after 7 years. One of the best vehicles I’ve ever owned! Timing chain and no belt! Would buy one again in a heartbeat:)

Awesome! Whereas I would say the Jazz (/Fit) isn’t necessarily my cup of tea, I do love Hondas in general and can very appreciate how well designed the Jazz is! They have a solid following too so I would certainly buy / sell more in the future!

Cheers Dave! Yeh I put a few hours into it and was so pleased with the end result. It was genuinely a lovely little thing and sold almost instantly- that’s what we like! Also - yes I did find a few coins in it…almost enough for a swift half in the local!!

My mother had a 2012 1.4 which also after 30000miles was ROCK solid too. Very very good comfortable dependable car that sailed through her MOT with no advisories other than the usual.

I have that exact same car, same ex spec, same colour, same i-shift semi automatic gearbox (2 pedal, robotised manual gearbox), same year. A japanesse car but Swindon built. Had it for 8 years now. Never ever had a problem with it. It just goes on and on. They are fantastic vehicles. 52 mpg in the winter which will jump up to 56mpg in warmer weather. And the interior is so amazingly versatile.
I considered changing up a couple of times but just nothing out there compares to these for economical, reliable motoring so I plan now on keeping it forever.
The extra's on your Jazz from factory are the body rubbing strips, mud flaps and window wind deflectors.
90 thousand miles is nothing on these and it will make someone a great reliable, daily runabout.

When you have to remove the seats to clean the interior because it’s so disgusting I would argue it’s directly reflective of the owner 😅 Nice video man. The new owner will have a nice vehicle because of your attention to detail.

Hi Kingsley, thanks for the question. In honesty every car is different so require differing products and techniques. However, the bottom line is to aim to clean as thoroughly as possible followed by extracting as much cleaner (and dirt, grime and smells along with it) before drying everything as thoroughly as possible to avoid mould, mildew and even more smells!
