Also like CZ, AK47 ‘s and many other weapons arrived in the US after the Cold War ended.

I just picked one up about 2 hours ago. Paid about $450 before tax, which isn't bad. The mags hold 17+1. I'm happy with it. I'm gonna try to go shooting hopefully soon!
EDIT: So I took mine to the range a couple times and lemme tell you, it's really accurate. Indoor range, about 30 yards or more, I hit majority of my shots in center mass and head. Low recoil, comfy in the hand, trigger pull feels good and had one instance where I had a bad casing ejection. (I used federal rounds as well. None remanufactured)

    Great video.
Forty years ago, I shot a range gun that was a Tangfolio copy of this gun (obviously a CZ copy).
That Tangfolio had been shot to death but it was the smoothest, most gentle recoiling 9mm I ever shot before or since.
And I was snapping all holes touching at 10 yards center of target too.
I recommend those buying this gun get the metal frame gun ...not the polymer one.
The extra weight is so damn sweet calming recoil.
And the metal frames will run in great after several thousand rounds too I would bet.
These guns with the metal frames are going for $550 now.
I would love a real CZ gun but they are $770 new right now.
The SAR polymer frame,4.5 inch barrel ones of this gun are $359 now.....kind of hard to pass up.
Exact same handle and slide design as the all metal one too.
The classic CZ high side frame , slide low inside it design makes a heck of a different... much smoother shooting handgun.
You deserve to find one at a range and shoot one if you can.
Just buy two or three hundred rounds of 9mm.
You won't want to stop shooting it.

At one point in time recently, my highest round count pistol was a Canik P120 which is a CZ SP01 9mm clone made in Turkey and imported by Tristar. It always ran like a champ and was able to accept many CZ SP-01 internal parts to improve the shooting experience. I shot it and trained with it way more than my actual CZ''s.

Same for me but with an Israeli Jericho 941R. The Jericho is a CZ clone but for some reason I just shoot it better than a regular CZ 75 and my CZ P-01. It was my mother's gun and she gave it to me when I turned 21. My Jericho is easily my most shot pistol and it has over 80k rounds through it (including the rounds my mother and father put through it).

I think that this video really speaks to just the awesomeness of the entire CZ75 platform in general. It seems like every CZ75 and CZ75 clone (IWI Jericho, Tristar S120, EAA Tanfo, etc.) that I’ve ever fired just runs and runs like nobody’s business. I know that the manufacturers vary greatly, but this is a proven, tried and true design and this SAR 2000 version is just further evidence of that.

I’ve been saying it for awhile and I’ll say it again. Turkey is putting out some real nice stuff right now. They have been for sometime now but they are really getting the recognition now. You should check out the Girsan Regard MC series of pistols. They are Beretta M9 style clone. Before the panic you could get them for a steal and they are highly “regarded”. They had a model that was cerakoted, pic rail, g10 grips and threaded barrel for well under 400 bucks. They are up right now. I kinda forgot about them until I seen one locally last week. The one they had local was the all black one and it was $360. Everyone that has reviewed them really likes them, even when compared to a Beretta.

I have owned an old Sar K2 .45 for over 7 years. Over 1000 rounds of factory ammo and at least 2000 reloads; this is my story:
Out of the box, my K2 refused to feed. I disassembled it and found a few rough areas to say the least. I used Mother's Mag Polish and some leather to hand polish the camming surfaces, feed ramp, and the chamber mouth. I also spent some of my Master's wisdom and did some magic...
That .45 is now the best handgun I own. I have since tried to induce malfunctions. I can manually cycle the action like a watch and the extractor claw glides over the rim like butter... I have worked many 1911s, 2011s, glocks, etc. I can confirm the Sar K2 is stellar in performance.

Very fast system. You can empty that mag accurately FAST.

Tristar also makes a CZ75 clone that KC did a review on a couple of years ago. I Picked one up for $275 before the virus panic. Much like this one it took the 75 mags and ran every type of ammo I had. Liked it enough to buy one for the son in law. Mine was stainless steel and his blue steel. I'd have to look at my records but I think I've have around 2500 rounds through it without any problems!

My Tristar/Canik P100 (a CZ-75 SP-01 clone) had a couple of failures to eject early on with 115gr Blaser Brass, the recoil spring is heavy do to Turkish guns being built for 124gr NATO loads.

Great review! You are my go-to reviewer for all things that go bang, and you never fail to hit the points I am interested in. I trust your input, because you can actually shoot well. A lot of other youtubers, not so much. I am curious if you have ever handled a SAR P8L, and if so, what you thinkof it. I ask because I have one, and like a good tanfoglio clone, the grip, trigger, controls, etc., are all excellent, but the accuracy is so-so. Most of my full size 9mm pistols will group 1.5" or better off a rest (5-shot groups) at 15 yards. My CZ P09 and TSO will group an inch or better with this criteria. The SAR P8L averages about 2" with the same assortment of ammo, and honestly I hoped for better from an all-steel gun. I am interested to hear about your experience with this gun if you have any info to offer. Likewise from any of your subscribers and commentors if they come across this comment. Thanks, and keep up the great reviews!

At pre-COVID prices, $400 or less was probably a good enough deal, but as these pistols gained in popularity, QC problems surfaced. I.E. light loads with a 115 gr. XTP @1139 FPS would barely work for IDPA or USPSA Minor at 131 Power Factor. Yet with the 2021 stainless model, the cases were flying 15" upon ejection. The trigger return spring BROKE at 400 rounds. The magazine followers and mag bodies were so poorly fit that they prevented the magazines from locking back the slide when emptied. IMO, these pistols are okay if you've been shooting handguns for over 40 years as I have, and have the skills to work on them because you're gonna need them. The 2000 ST works now, but is essentially a custom with around $750 invested for it and the parts. Galloway Precision for the internal springs, Wolff for recoil springs, and CGW parts made for the Tanfoglio Witness Formerly sold by EAA) will work for the SAR USA 2000. Defintely the trigger w/overtravel stop, but without using the pre-travel stop. The Floating trigger pin in conjunction with the Galloway spring kit will give you excellent pulls in SA and DA where the 2000 can be safely carried with the hammer at half-cock, Manuak safety engaged or not. I would definitely recommend a 14# recoil spring from Wolff Gunspring Co Like CZ springs the CZ 75B), or if you mostly shoot 124 gr, loads, like the 9mm NATO rounds, get a 15#. If you plan to carry one with 124 gr. +P JHPs, add a 16# to one with the previous. I had a management moron tell me that these mags are made by Mec Gar, but these would be the only Mec Gar magazines that never worked properly for me. No where on the magazines do they say anything but Sarsilmaz. Their customer service ranks right down there with the former Sarsilmaz inporter, EAA! If you have the skills to build one and don't mind the extra cost? Goforit! Otherwise you won't save any $ by buying one rather than getting it right the first time with a CZ 75B, BD, whatever model you like. And actually, a CZ P-09, the P-07's big brother, can be bought for around the same $ as the SAR USA 2000. And P-09s work as they come in the box!

      @tacklengrapple6891 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

Great info! I’ve worked on a few of my cz’s in the past, so doing similar work to a SAR doesn’t sound any different. I love the basic CZ design in all it’s different clone flavors, but the design definitely seem to be more maintenance intensive compared to literally any striker fired gun because of it’s many springs, roll pins, and even slide stops that can be a point of failure. Even other hammer fired guns like the Sig P series and HK’s offering’s don’t have those sticking points in their design.
Oh well, CZ-75 designs, and the clones, shoot great and feel great, so you just have to love the tinkering/hot rodding side of things to get the best from them.
