- Testing out Ready Stance Condensed Spinning Slash/Savage Axe CB and I'm not really getting warm with it.
I have an almost 30 second faster run, but it's Garangolm being stuck half of the fight in the sticky resin and I'd rather have a run that's not reliant on outside factors than one that does.

And here I am still playing the charge blade like 4u. I feel dumb but it's my favorite way to play.
That playstyle works fine with elemental. Hoppers are just better saeds anyway.
IB and rise Generally have more versatile and varied cb playstyles
Hi AkantoreX, can you make a video about sunbreak CB endgame builds please? And if you do decide to make one, please also talk about skill priority for each style (impact SAED/elemental SAED/Savage Axe), how important are purple sharpness and affinity to impact/elemental SAED. Thank you!

Looks fun too, but seems only/mostly be good on stationary monsters to get advantage of the counter axe slashes

I think he has an ultra wide monitor, because the youtube player always gets wider for his videos

Same, I can only manage to play efficiently with regular SAED and Counter Peak Performance, my dumbass has been brainwashed by 2000 hours of Iceborne/World CB play

Well yeah, since SAED spam dominated by elemental phial. While chainsaw mode is really made for physical in this game. Despite the fact that chainsaw mode does multi hit, those hit have lower elemental modifier.

That hitlag feels too long, leans more on the frustrating rather than cool side for me. Its like it comes to a complete stop on each hit of the attack which doesn't look right. If they reduced it to 2/3 or 3/5 or so of the duration of what it is now it would look better (imo)
If they are worried about weapon balance they can always slow the move down if they make the change
It's complete opposite for me, I like it more than Iceborne version because of this giant hit lag. Iceborne felt like you were going through actual butter and not monster flesh. That being said I enjoy other CB styles to this either way, but every now and then I can do chainsaw for one hunt and have some fun.
It would not just look better but also feel better. It still feels awful to play right now. If I want good savage axe gameplay I just go back to world.
@@furner837 which is ironic because world and iceborne had more prominent hitlag across the board. The sound design was superior too compared to rise. I guess due to the mote powerful hardware they were really able to crank up the audiovisual experience.

Damn, Ready Stance is so sick. It's too bad I mostly prefer to play in Sword and Shield mode with SAED's or Axe Hopper.

I want to play Savage Axe style but counter -> SAED is so much easier
it honestly depends on the matchup, for me atleast.
Depends of hitzones and how big the monster is. You will not hit a Lagombi with all the phials of SAED in your life and that matters.
Love the new skill swap, good stagger and easier to land burst, then swap to the chain axe to rip and tear when they're down! Actually excited to play CB again, got too used to Iceborne's CB LMFAO

Style looks boring to be quite honest, I never understood the appeal of savage axe.
To me SAED spam is not appealing at all. It's a matter of preferences I guess.
