Love the ending with the music and clean finish. Also love the dashes to avoid the targeting moves, looks cool and definitely makes the gameplay cleaner.

I still play it a lot but i feel like i am trying to hard to get SAEDs off, but if i don't my damage just feels pathetically low compared to other weapons. Would love to improve, but i am stuck in my ways kinda

@@theend3905 that video is a nice template for casual hunting and progress to MR, just change teostra coil for bazel on the other elemental CBs, Dereliction and the other skills that boost your element in practice are not that good cause you get one shot by end game monsters if you stay bellow 50%-60% hp

That 1st SAED doing 4 x 35 of extra damage on the horizontal swing, before the discharge hit... Is that regular SAED? Or do you have to hold 1 of the attack buttons, like you do during Savage Axe mode swings, to do extra ticks of damage?
He's using the Firing Pin version of the shield-thrust, which leaves a sort-of phial-bomb on the monster on hit. It detonates when you hit it with an Axe-Mode attack or any AED shocks.
Even on Elemental Hitzones as low as 10 or 15, Elemental Phials outperform Impact Phials in most cases. There are only a handful of matchups where you actually want to use Impact SAEDs. Few of those are Teo, Zinogre, Bazel and Valstrax. Even then, Elemental is probably doing more damage (minus Valstrax).
@@AkantoreX Ok good to now so that is really a rip for Impact phials but if i really want to play with impact phials i can always go back to MHW IB and i know that this game will not dissapoint me.
@@akulayo5390 Monster tracking is more precise, you have more hitlag on your moves, which leads to a lot of missed damage and makes the duration of your SAED last longer, meaning you are more likely to get hit during recovery and there might be more that I can't think of right now/don't know.
2:53 How come you didn't get hit twice from gores frenzy-balls? I always block in the center of that attack and never can retaliate 'cuz the outer ones blow up after I CPP.
Positioning. He wasn't in a spot where he'd get hit by 2 of them. Could just be that the area of effect from those explosions are bigger than they look.
stop speedrunning the same monsters. Switch to greatsword if youre just repeating the same monsters with charge blade. You need to diversify your monhun vids

How do you attack the monster without triggering the mount?
there's an option in the settings that lets you keep attacking and only press a when sheathed to mount

I reduced my framerate to 30, because playing at 60fps gives you many disadvantages in Rise.
