Don Felder and Black Stone Cherry were last minute replacement bands for Lynyrd Skynyrd who had to cancel due to Rickey Medlocke contracting covid.
felder is the best of the best.. he's being able to play in a transposed key like that good.. being a musician its really hard to battle your muscle memory and ear training.. thats why i think he is special

He's one of the best lip syncers in the biz, but he's really playing the guitar. I saw him a few months ago and it didn't take long to figure it out, he was never known for his vocals in the Eagles.

Never heard Don Felder sing before, he sounds a bit like singer Paul Young, especially when Young covered 'Oh Girl' by the Chi-Lites.

He can sing and play whatever song he likes, just like you could do. Of course he has to pay for it. Heartache tonight is by Glenn Frey and Bob Seger. The long run is by Glenn Frey and Don Felder.
He was part of the band when the songs were published. Just because he didn't help write the song i'm sure he had as much to do with creating the music behind the lyrics as anyone in the band which allows him to play it!
Wrong key Don and the auto tune is terrible
Heard the Eagles live lately?? All their songs they’re doing a half step or sometimes full step lower. They can’t push out those notes anymore. Give ‘em a break. They’re in their 70’s.

I think any rocker rocking past 70 has a free pass to use the auto tune.

When he settled the lawsuit with the Eagles, he must have won the right to play their songs. It’s not right that he plays music he didn’t write.
Hes so autotuuned great guitarist but the singing is not good.
