I think as a guitarist, kinda. He's not as recognized by the general public. But with musicians? He's one of the most known and iconic guitarists around. However, he definitely should be more known for his songwriting skills.

I cannot imagine my life without this composition. Thank You Mr. Felder! I’ll never forget being in high school and hearing this played on the radio for the first time.
Fantastic tone from that doubleneck! Fantastic performance from an artist still with us and still going out on stage and thrilling audiences. How lucky we are!
He can always be proud he stood up to Frey and Henley and took "Everything" that was legally his, including playing Eagles song's for pay anytime he pleases.
que grande verlo de nuevo a Don Felder y con la misma guitarra doble cuando pertenecia a la banda en 1977 cuando usaba pelo largo y bigote..y esa enemistad que tenian los dos me refiero a Glenn Frey.

One of a kind great guitarist. Fired by the Eagles, but only the touring band. Still a member of Eagles Inc. One fantastically underrated guitarist. Don Felder is amazing.
Felder "underrated"? Interesting statement. I think that "underrated" is one of the most overrated classifications in the youtube coment section.

My Boy Don Fingers Felder, got the pipes to sing and the awesome picking on that double !! Dudes a LEGEND!!
It’s an auto tune mic, it’s not his real voice
Still amazing though no doubt
Felder is already 75 yet he can still play the solo remarkably
Not to mention on a guitar that weighs in at about 13- 14 pounds.

Don Felder, the absolute master of that 12 lb Gibson double neck. What a fabulous song he wrote.
