On the 2020 Highlander, is the BSM (Blind Spot Monitor) only visual on the side mirrors or is there an audible alarm as well? I have been looking and cannot find where you can turn on the audible sound for it.

I bought a 2020 Limited Trim Highlander in early March. Such a nice vehicle. It’s midnight black with the tan/brown interior. Love it!
After 3 Kias(sportage, 2 Sorentos), going back over 13 years I bought my first Toyota in Sept, 2020 Highlander Limited with split bench 2nd row and upgraded Platinum infotainment, reg V6, not hybrid, AWD. Your videos, among others, plus recommendations from 3 other Highlander owners convinced me. Great car. I am a single, retired Grandpa, who lives in the mountains of western NC (Macon County). Perfect for me. The audio system that comes with the high end infotainment system is great. I am told this car should last several hundred thousand miles.
Funny how grandparents require a larger vehicle.

I've watched this video a couple of times because I wasn't sure which one to buy. I usually enjoy your videos, but you went over so many features that both cars had, I was still unsure what the difference between the two was. I ended up ordering a 2021 Limited with the 12.3 inch infotainment screen.
That's the way we're leaning too, could care less about the panoramic moonroof & I think the Limited wheels & trim actually look better than the Platinum. About the only thing we would consider adding is the 12" screen like you did.
@@jameswebb321 I agree. I really wanted the Headups display but didn't want to pay for the rest of the features the platinum had that I didn't want. I saved a couple thousand dollars buying the Limited with the 12.3 inch screen. With no other options it lists out at 47900 ish and you should be able to easily get 4000-6000 off.

@@jameswebb321 Sure, just go on true car and get a quote. Take it to your dealer of choice, if they won't meet the price, (highly unlikely) you may have to drive a few miles but take it to the dealer that gave you the good price and buy it there. Doesn't really matter what dealer you pick the car up from, although I try to support my local dealer / stores.

After watching these videos about Highlander,,,Toyota made Highlander Platium/Limited's comparable to the 2022 Acura MDX ,,,pretty cool features, value added to the Highlander ..I have to choose, I would go with Highlander Hybrid Platium rather than Acura MDX top loaded! ....engine reliability not much if comaparing Toyota and Honda,,,maybe little more noises in Highlander but it is not that much!

يوجد نقص حاد جداً في الانتاج بسبب الكوفيد ونقص الشرائح الإلكترونية وفوق كل هذا مؤخرا الحرب الروسية الأكرانية. يمكن بسبب النقص الحاد خصصوا كل البلاتينيوم في أمريكا. وحتى هنا في أمريكا صارلي شهرين أدور على بلاتينيوم ولا لقيت, أمس حصلت ليميتيد بتوصل بنصف مايو ان شاء الله فتوكلت واشتريتها. الله يوفقك.

I valet and I get into some newer cars with the digital rear view mirror. Although it's weird to get used to, I see it's benefit when there's a fully loaded cabin whether with people or cargo. Even when the rear glass is dirty, much easier to wipe off the camera
