  • Long-awaited new Mercedes-Benz C 200 and C 300 bring cutting-edge design and tech - for a price 👉 Full Review: www.carsales.com.au/editorial...
The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class has finally been released in Australia following supply delays and the first examples of the W206 to arrive here are fitting flag-bearers for a model line that’s found more than 10 million homes globally.
There’s no question the all-new 2022 Mercedes-Benz C 200 and C300 set new benchmarks for the mid-size luxury sedan segment in terms of technology, but they would want to given the eye-watering price hikes attached to them.
We sent Bruce Newton to the Australian launch of the new C-Class to analyse whether it is worth the wait - and the price.

Having started at the W204 and moving to the W205, the upgrade was well worth it. After warranty expired i traded in the W205 for the G20 330i and I've been pleasantly surprised, I was looking to come back to the Mercedes brand with the launch of the W206 but now I'm not so sure. With warranty expiring soon I'm not sure where to go next.

Great review road noise full of rattles and squeaks in this car on other reviews and the firm ride not worth the $90K asking price.

No, they are adaptive dampers, they are not using air in them.

This was a fantastic review. If you're going to remove features for any reason, the car needs to be cheaper. If rivals offer cars that are better to drive and allow customers the ability to negotiate the price, you'd be silly to buy one of these.

The Burmaister stereo shown on that car is not available not even as option, so this is one more deception by MB Australia.
To ask for 100k drive away yet not offer premium Audio (first option I tick) or adaptive suspension is an insult to intelligence.
The lack of climate control panel or even USB ports (included on US/EU models) in place of that ugly hole would be an embarrassing detail on a non premium car at half the price. It's just a perfect demonstration of how much MB really values it Australian customers, and I really hope Aussie return the favour and dump the brand for BMW, Audi, Lexus, Tesla and even Genesis.

@@ericvandoornen461 I’ve had a c250 and an A45 both rand new( nothing special). However with the A45 I’ve ended up 6-7 times to the dealership for warranty repairs. On top of that the depreciation is huge. This 100k way overpriced, average quality vehicle in 4-5 years will lose half the value. No thanks .
