I can relate with Brian's heartaching and breaking while singing such an admired yet difficult tune at such an intricate , delicate, intimate , dreaded, , bittersweet time in the studio . .and don't get me started on how our Freddie was in excruciating pain yet he knocks back a couple of Stohlis ..perseveres until the pain was too much for him ...I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that this was probably a very emotional moment in time for Freddie ..although no one recalls seeing tears in Freddie's eyes or seeing him actually break down in tears I'm sure this would have been the ideal circumstance for a good soul cleansing ..Why me God ? Cry ..I'm talking open the flood gates. ..I hope Freddie allowed himself to cry in private ..I understand his not wanting to cry in the presence of others .. and They knew ,the 4 blokes .. they knew it was 99.9,999 probable that Freddie would never be returning to the studio to record with his beloved band who were also his 3 best mates (friends ) they were preparing to say farewell . It´s a wonderful song. But only three songs on this album were new songs, the rest were old recordings from the 80s, with new instrumentation recorded after Freddie´s death. The last album released when Freddie was alive was Innuendo.

It gives me chills knowing his health and frailty at this point..doesn't it seem like that last chorus that he sang. " Out in the city ..." Incredible voice timbre at the middle of the song, god gave him a chance to make incredible song; 3. Yes Freddie could not finish the song. He planned to come back montreux studio in the morning but he never come back. Brian May after years finished the song and sang a last verse.
