      The thing is, the numbers she cites do not support the conclusion that traditionalism is the best way to go.
      Of course there were more marriages decades ago - women did not really have any other choice than getting into a marriage.
      Same reason for the lower divorce-rate. It was not as accepted to get divorced, and women were not even allowed to make that decision.
      Don't get me wrong, i don't say that a marriage with task seperation is not okay. It is still an option.
      But in a healthy relationship, noone should be submissive. Everyone should have equal rights, both should do their part (both partly earn money and partly do work at home, or one working more the other less, ...it definitely should not depend on their gender).

    If women were paid less for the same work, why men haven't lost their jobs ?

    • @yolandascholten2012
      @yolandascholten2012 ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly. My son asked me if it is true that woman get paid less. I asked him …’ if I owned a bricklaying company and employed 10 woman do you think I’d pay them less than 10 men?’ He knew the answer.

    • @sofiebrammer1482
      @sofiebrammer1482 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Because it is not that easy.
      A big factor why women earn less is that in our society jobs often done by women are paid less. Not because that is defined by nature, but because us humans, in our society designed things this way. Mostly men made decisions that lead to this Situation. Probably not on purpose, i am not making that accusation.
      We generally live in a society where the money we get is not fixed to a job. It is connected to the expectations towards the employee etc.

    Married at 26, 3 kids later at 36 yrs old I left my husband after leaving a dv situation and finally divorced at 40...I am now remarried and 48. I was and still feel like a traditional wife. I was devastated when my 1st marriage didn't work and I had to get our for my safety and the safety of my kids. Abuse aside, I was a better mother when I could devote my time to my children and not be beholden to a job that took me away from my children. Maybe it isn't traditional wives, but traditional mothers.

    I'm a 53 y/o American. Me and every other man in the USA have been told since birth to respect women, treat them gently, be chivalrous, help and protect women in need, focus on women's health, girls can do anything boys can do, that we're supposed to be able to read their emotion-filled minds, that they suffer inequality daily, that they are victims of unconscious bias, etc. Do all men treat women nicely? No, but most do, and we don't have gatherings and think tanks discussing how to hold women back. Most men at one point have had great women coworkers and bosses we really respect and admire. Men have taken a backseat as long as I've been alive to focus on women's issues, and we didn't mind, because we've been told that we SHOULD take a backseat to women and always put them first. So it's frustrating when I hear the feminists of today talk about the patriarchy and how men need re-educated, that we're toxic, etc. whenever we bring up something that is unfair to us or that we as men would like some focus on. Instead, we're told by women to "man up" (even though they don't agree with what that entails, because that's toxic apparently) if we're unconfident or nervous.

    Why do people say JUST a wife & mother? They have to wear many hats in the home to keep the family going and maturing. Nurture, counsel, program co-ordinator, health & safety, budgeting, nutrition, laundress, cook and much more. So another thing thats been misinterpreted for many years, is the important role of wife and mother. She is not JUST a wife and mother but a gift to the family who should be respected and loved ending with a job well-done! Its really not a demeaning job/vocation as many feminists would like to have us believe. Pearl has the right insights.

    A woman today can get a husband regardless of whether she is a "trad wife" or not. The amount of options the average woman has now is insane due to social media and dating apps. What Grace is really saying is that the top 0.5% of men will not accept a masculine disagreable woman regardless of her attractiveness as they can get a woman if equal attractiveness who happens to have feminine energy and traits. And also, Grace is an attractive woman who I can guarentee would not be attracted to.most men, men know.they have to lose qeaker character traits to even get attraction from career women loke Grace in the first place.

    As if a single life was the guarantee to be "who I really am". We don't hear if the happily divorced woman is developing her personality - agree, that can easily be why one gets a divorce; I know I did. Traditional marriage never existed, that's childish. Unfortunately modern partnership does neither and that is the problem of feminism since they are blaming men for it. We are not the providers and protectors, we could be partners if she lets us.

  • @truthseeker8475
    @truthseeker8475 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The only "right" every human being has is the right to choose good or evil, life or death (Deuteronomy 30:19). There's nothing that distinguishes what is good or evil, life or death, differently for man or woman.
    The problem lies in the choices people make, not in the rights they deserve to enjoy. Most people being ignorant about what constitutes right and wrong actions, often make wrong choices believing they are making right ones.
    All human actions stem from a desire to avoid suffering, and enjoy happiness. When a wise person acts he reaps happiness, but when an ignorant person acts he reaps suffering.
    "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and in all thy getting get understanding." (Proverbs 4:7)
    May Wisdom prevail. 🙏
