    Did that feminist just admit that there are jobs men can do that women can’t because of physical differences?

    • @jessejive117
      @jessejive117 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +261

      Yeah, but there are jobs men don’t want to do where women overwhelmingly are over represented in and you could just as easily make the argument. Men can’t have the right to vote until they do these jobs. Do equal work. The truth is men and women complement each other. Men are more important to having society run thoughlynand the world would be a significantly much better place, if women could not vote and could not be in office. But it’s still not right or good. There are certain races that commit more crimes than others and if you eradicated them I guess you would stop crime but that’s a bad solution to a problem and it hurts innocent people who are good. There are men who vote for terrible things, and do terrible things in office and they were women who vote very conservative week and say good things and do good things and they are in power. You don’t get to hurt good people because more bad people do things. You don’t get to kill 10 people because six of them are going to be murderers and four of them are innocent.

      America is representative government, so one vote per family makes sense or if you own property.

    What I understood from this video is that they're not having a conversation or a debate. They are just having a contest on who shouts louder. The problem with people nowadays is that they don't listen to understand, they listen to reply. Just hear out the entire point without interrupting and then contribute to the conversation. That's why nothing is getting done right nowadays. Everyone thinks they are above others and only their opinion matters. Next time you engage in a debate with someone, please, listen to them, whether you agree or disagree, just let them finish, take a minute, process all that you heard and only then reply. That's how a civilized human being holds a conversation.

And now that men are giving women what they want and have been doing so since these women demanded to have equal rights and to be equal to men, they now find it creepy that men are giving them the notoriety.
      Still though, I don't think it's all men that they would say are creepy for giving women the undivided attention. I think it's the average imperfect unattractive men that are giving them the attention and putting them on a high pedestal that they say are creepy for giving them the attention. Because if it's handsome, great looking, attractive men giving women the attention, putting them on a high pedestal, these women and their faces would be glowing brighter than a red headed albino.
      So when you fellas come to look at it, I don't think it's really about the many men putting women on a high pedestal. I think it's about who & what type and kind of man is putting them on a high pedestal that they get to dictate which ones they love putting them on a high pedestal which are attractive handsome men and which men they find creepy for putting them on a high pedestal which are average imperfect unattractive men.
      Today's women have a sexual preference when it comes to men. Why do you think they want average men to leave them alone? Because they don't like men that aren't perfect. Not that hard to figure out about what today's women like and don't like. Just study their body expressions and how they react when men approach them.

      If your comment was meant for pure comedy, then just ignore this (I'm not good at detecting that), but "I am not built for that job" is a valid reason for why women are not working those types of jobs. Men biologically have the ability to protect society better than women do. We have to cherish the biological differences between men and women. Women are good at other things (nursing, caring, empathy etc.), we have to work as a team to thrive, and that's traditionally how it's been and I think that is a beautiful thing we have to maintain. Jobs that require problem solving and strength, men are just better at. But your attempt at pointing out an ironic situation kinda fails when you make it sound like women are actually saying that they should be paid as much as the men working those kind of jobs. They are not saying that they should be paid the same as all men (its not communism). The gender pay gap is not that men on the average generally earn more than women, it's that research and statistics have shown that women are paid less than men for the same job title, and even in the same company. This suggests that there is a gender bias when it comes to who earns more (for the same title). This doesn't involve the fact that men are generally working kinds of jobs that have a higher salary, as that is not what the gender pay gap is about. Its simply about many women earning less that men for the exact same work, and just that.

    • @mmhthree
      @mmhthree 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Women want all the easy, high paying jobs with the men having no other options than to do the hardest, manual labor imaginable. You pretty much have to be a very feminine man to work in such environments where there are mostly women working in the air conditioning, or they'll run you out somehow. That's what they are pushing for... soon men will have no other choices besides hard, outdoor work, and that's not fair. There's alot of problems with all of this, and we're seeing the consequences coming to a head... And they don't want true equality!!

      Domestic violence has its roots on stress which lead to mind diseases and drug abuse, which are caused by both parents being pushed into the labor market without anyone to spend their time watching and caring for the family.

      What does the statement “go be equal” mean to you?
      Pearl’s points are profoundly stupid. Think about them for more than five seconds:
      1. When arguing equal rights equal responsibilities she cited male dominated roles like oil rigs and plumbing. First there is nothing stopping women from working in these jobs and there are in fact women who do work on oil rigs, are plumbers electricians etc. they are definitely a minority in those roles though.
      2. To steel man her position even more, you could say that men have the added responsibility of registering for selected service in the event that a draft is conducted for war, however plenty of feminists have been arguing for either the expansion of selected service registration to include women or the complete elimination of it all-together.
      3. All of the jobs she mentioned for her “equal rights equal responsibilities” argument are not jobs that are prerequisite for anyone to receive enfranchisement (the right to vote). A minority of men are plumbers, oil workers, construction workers, etc. does that mean all other men should lose the right to vote? Should the dude flipping burgers lose the right to vote?
      4. Women already perform many roles critical to the functioning of modern economies, in the US alone their economic activities accounted for 37% of the total GDP in 2014, meaning if women didn’t work they’d collapse the entire US economy, seems like a pretty important and productive demographic to me.
      5. Certain roles which are critical to society are massively over represented by women, such as in healthcare and education of which women are the backbone. These roles, while absolutely critical, tend to be underpaid and undervalued by society.
      6. My tax bracket is higher than the average American, I think anyone taxed under 40% shouldn’t be allowed to vote, because clearly we’re not the same, not equal, and don’t contribute the same to society. See how this line of argumentation ultimately works? Good thing in the US you’re enfranchised on the basis of your citizenship, not your economic contribution

      Like many of Pearl's arguments the 'go and be a plumber' one has some merit but taken to its logical conclusion has some weaknesses too.
      There is no reason women cannot be plumbers, indeed it would be good if there were more female trades people.
      However, there are a few jobs that require sheer physical strength like working on a drill deck of an oil rig. I am a 59 year old man and could not do that job now but used to be a farmer and rugby player so yes when I was younger I had strength that few women have. That isn't to say men should get paid more just because they are stronger although men working on oil rigs do get paid a lot on average because it is arduous and dangerous and you have to live away from family.

    Case in point with me: I was promoted up into management of a McDonalds restaurant much more quickly than ANY other manager in company history. And was paid the highest of ANY manager in my specific position. The female managers found out about this and demanded a meeting with the owners and regional managers. However, they mistakenly leaked what this meeting was going to be about and the owners directly invited me to this meeting. These females started their debate by pointing out my youth with the company and my greater pay, and then the owners asked if I wanted to personally address this matter. So, I did. I used my OWNER LEVEL software access to clearly prove my pay justification. Even with my higher pay, I proved that I virtually always maintained a higher profit margin, regardless of which location I was working at. Even when I was filling in for one of these complainants, I still maintained a higher profit margin. So, I was being paid more to do their direct job, and still made a greater profit. That means that I was drastically more successful than they were. Two of these female managers were immediately terminated within that meeting. What many people overlook is that all businesses are for profit. They are not going to just pay men more, they are most often going to pay the most to the best employees.

    My mom is a plumber and in a long-term married relationship. I’m so confused. People want to start to take away women’s votes? I think women should still be allowed to vote, they run the household and take over responsibilities that men can’t cover when they’re at work. I think both genders are equal in the sense that both genders have different roles and responsibilities. There shouldn’t be a reason for women to not vote and have civil rights because they don’t work blue collar jobs. The world is overpopulated and many people today don’t even want kids anymore because of the economy we live in. Birth rates have been on a steady decline due to urbanization. So marriage today is mostly used for companionship. Which is a sad that divorce rates are so high. However, people change over the course of their lives. The prominent reasons why wives call for divorce is due to infidelity, substance abuse, and abuse. Why stay with someone who won’t help you grow? If the couple don’t have kids, I don’t see a reason why people can’t divorce. I think the world really needs to go under some serious social and economic reforms. Why are we hating on people’s views and opinions? We are all collectively living on ball of magma, rock, soil, plant, and water, can’t we just chill out? I don’t know, maybe I am wrong. It’s the micro example that makes up the further meaning of her argument in that feminists always talk about job inequality but without contexts. Look at the humanities jobs that deal with people vs infrastructure jobs. It’s been studied throughout history, men are interested in things, women are interested in people. So they are not the same, especially when generally speaking they both take different lines of work. This is why when you drive to work and there’s road work going on, the majority of the ones doing the work are men bc they’re the ones willing to do these types of jobs. So Pearl’s argument is, if you want to fight the system, do the hard work, and guess what THEY DONT SIGN UP 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
