This was really great for starting out a blog page on an otherwise static website design. I did still have the question of how to format the blog page so that the content would work with something like IFTTT + Buffer, so that I could make a blog post to social media. Not sure how to convert a static looking designed page into that, but will look to see if you have additional tutorials for something closer to that. Thanks.

Now, do you know how to assign the categories to a different page on the word press? Let say, there is a post I assigned to fitness, now I want it to be on my fitness page. You would want to add the categories themselves to your menu instead of creating a page and WordPress will automatically list the posts in that category for you the same as they would appear on the blog page.

Can I use a photo, some text, and a link to the post on the blog page? BUT......I managed to find classic editor in settings - but can't change the color of the text of the title. I actually deleted the homepage on my blog- It's not really commercial and it's just a hobby thing so I thought it was an unnecessary extra effort (and an acquaintance of mine has a relatively successful blog on WordPress without a homepage). However I have a rather peculiar issue. When going onto the website you immediately enter the Blog page, and you can see my latest posts (in this case just one post- I started the website yesterday).But if you go onto a different page, for example the About page, and return back to the blog page, the post is gone It is still possible to access the post through the recent posts widget but that will definitely be an issue when I start to have more posts

If you go thru the book carefully, it's going to help a great deal. It's older.....but WP is still the same under the hood - although "Block builder" is new. I deactivated free Elementor because I had problems with SSL on my pages. I did everything for 2 days - and decided to take everything down to the most basic level (WP, not Elementor). After struggling with trying to get my post on the right page, I decided to spend time reading this book tonight. It's clarified some stuff. Good luck!

If you create categories for each blog post you can add the categories to your menu and they will act as a blog page for that specific category.

Yes it works like that but the posts do not have thumbnails. Or do I have to make images featured?
You would use featured images for displaying a thumbnail normally

In the settings the "blog pages show at most" section will not allow anything except 9. Is there a way to change this? Awesome video by the way.

Your theme may have a different setup with its design, you could also try clearing your caching to see if you had the old homepage cached.

Do you think that the absence of a homepage has caused this issue or that the lack of a homepage can cause other potential issues?
You may want to check your menus to ensure you are not linking to the now removed page
