I looked at no more than a minute of each of a dozen not very helpful videos before I found this one. Thank you! You take the time to ensure my screen looks like yours before getting started instead of just clicking random boxes like I know what you're doing. Kudos to you! In addition, you don't cover up what you're saying with unnecessary music, and your voice is nice to listen to. I was able to open up my blog and toggle back and forth to set up right along with you. Thanks again. 🙂
Amazing - rarely do I find a video where everything is relevant and clear to my needs - a great find, if I could like the video a hundred times I would!
I loved this tutorial! I'm horrible at following instructions and I was able to set up my blog on my wordpress site with YOUR HELPFUL VIDEO! Even though there have been some updates to wordpress since this video is from 3 years ago I was still able to figure it out! THANKS! I've subscribed so I can learn more from you

Very useful video indeed! I watch tons of other blog related videos and many of them just spend so much time on how to adjust fonts, size, uploading image, videos, and yada yada and then, gives you their URL on how to download their layout for a price. This video get to the point of how to set blog page, then post page, menu, and others to start the whole blogging process. We don't need 5-10 minutes of lessons on how to change the font, size, and so on.

In the same spot where you tick off the Eye symbol to hide comments and such, scroll down farther and select excerpt/summary instead of full. You will see the option there.
