Hi, quick question- how can I connect the domain purchased via Bluehost to an existing wordpress site? I finally purchased a domain to connect to my existing site but now when I try to connect it it tries to make me pay another $96 for a wordpress plan. I can't find a way around it but I see it was not done in this tutorial so I know there must be a way.
Do I have to wait the few hours until bluehost verifies my name with WordPress and gets rid of the "box1234" title to continue with the rest of the steps?

when i upload a post it automatically ads the author underneath, I don't want that. How to remove that? It also ads a comment box, I don't want that either how to remove it? thx

Thanks! Self hosted as in setting up a server and network yourself? If so you can do that with any site. and most themes are mobile friendly nowadays.
