Hey Christian, thanks for reaching out. I ended up getting a local SIM card/data plan in Budapest. I was able to set up the plan in the store with an English speaking representative, and the plan was affordable.
Really disagree about the dentist. Dentists are SO much more affordable and provide excellent care abroad, even in countries that aren’t seen as “developed”-and many speak English to cater to international residents.
Great vid and some very useful tips for traveling. I wasn't aware that people in the US can still read .... ha..ha.. just joking with you! Are you still in Budapest?

I think everyone could benefit from more time with a book, myself included! I’m not currently in Budapest, although I hope to return soon.
