Dude, THANK YOU SO MUCH! I have ~1MBPS upload speed and while I was doing OK streaming normal games at the settings I had, I couldn't stream any online/mobile games without my ping dropping to 999ms+ which basically rendered them unplayable. You literally got my ping down to 40ms-200ms on these settings which is MORE than workable, so thank you so much!!
Thanks for this video! I’m relying on my mobile hotspot to stream (too rural for internet service) and was worried that my dreams were crushed. This is a great explanation for someone who is knew to this world of content creation like me.
Finally someone with same internet speed! I hear only people with 7ms and download and upload speed above 30 and saying their internet is bad. And this video really helped me, thanks!

Cheers for this, I'm going to try some of these settings! It's great to find someone who says "bad internet" and actually means less than 1Mbps upload...unlike one advice video I found, where they were complaining about 10Mbps upload speed being "slow" and "bad"...grr... I am looking into fibre options, but for the foreseeable future I'll be on ADSL. And it's good ADSL, for ADSL: I'm not far from the cabinet or the exchange, and I can get over 1Mbps upload on a good day (though it's 0.7-0.8Mbps, typically). But when there's too much movement in my game output, 720p really shows up my low bandwidth on stream. I just did a test at 480p, and there's a huge improvement in visual quality overall. Also, most of the time I'm watching Twitch myself, it's in a half-screen window anyway...if my viewers are doing that, too, then 480p is perfectly watchable.
MBPS download: 135.29 MBPS upload: 24.04 And my stream lags and drops 30% of it's frames on the default settings for OBS (Streamlabs). I'm just gonna give this a whirl, and see if it helps, but I guess I just have to test it. :) On my stream, it looks like it's about 10 frames a minute.. UPDATE: It worked! I may change the resolution to higher since I have decent internet, but thank you SO MUCH I can finally stream on Twitch! Earned yourself a sub and like :p
For me I kinda live in the boonies so the closet sever for me would be 2 states over so would I choose that one for my server or leave it on automatic?

Bro I appreciate this. Even though my company says that they don't idle down my speed overnight (which is when I stream) they do. This is working beautifully!
