    Yes. To be in an INTP's mind is the same as being in their heart.

      So, I have to ask. When you say he keeps you "grounded" is that a kind way of saying he casually but ruthlessly identifies the logical flaws in your illusions before you try to act on them?

    I'm an INTP who's been quite introspective about feelings lately, but I'm still a mess with them haha, and I need a lot of time to process every kind of emotional information. I'm just noticing that I think (not 100% sure yet, but almost) that I'm in love with my-since 2 years ago-ENFP friend. I'm pretty conscious about my lack of emotional intelligence and that he has more emotional needs than I do, so I'm afraid of not being capable to do good in a relationship with him. I haven’t even talked to him lately, but I'm here searching for other ENFPs' perspectives hahaha. I don’t even know why I'm writing this information here XD.
    I wanted to admit that I felt really accepted and understood when you talked about INTPs childlike way of loving. Not just because you said it, but also by the way you did it. It seemed quite honest and I really appreciate that. I think that INTPs are always unfairly misunderstood as cold and robot-like (things that people had said to me before, and which have made me insecure about my way of caring), so that statement actually warmed my heart :').
    Thanks for the information, the video was great. You ENFPs are ✨💫🌈 (translation: amazing)!.

    I'm an enfp married to a intp 4 years strong. We knew each other in our teenage years, had a whole back and forth relationship (not toxic, more like testing waters in our immaturity not wanting to hurt the other..mostly not wanting to hurt him 😅) and kept a friendship when not in relationships. Happy to say we learned a lot and now understand why we always had such a strong connection! We never fight u less it's for fun and we always have a blast. If one of us is uneasey then so is the other. He's my other half ❤ and anyone reading, communication and patience is key! When it's the hardest is when it is the most important. Love and peace to all

    Wow. That so captured my dynamic with my mom. Pure gentle accepting love. We were both infinitely curious. We were both a bit scattered too -- absent-minded, happily slightly eccentric. She though was so painfully introverted, right down to the agoraphobia. Getting her to come out of her shell for her first job in 20 years after 5 kids took itself 5 years. Her last twenty were the happiest. I very much wanted to protect such a fragile pure being. Thank you for this beautiful rendering of what one must say is an archetypal interaction between two types.

    I have tried dating several male INTPs as a heterosexual cis-female. I agree that they allow others to be themselves, which is lovely; I always encouraged them to be themselves, too, instead of trying to blend into what I am/fit in.
    I also appreciated the purity of their intention, but I have pure intentions, too, as an ENFP who is forthcoming & honest & knows herself well, so it was mostly a mirroring effect.
    I did, however, find that they had seemingly strongly held beliefs but didn’t always know how to explain or defend them with more than one argument. Smart, yes, but they seemed, to me, limited in their thinking despite being open-minded to possibilities, like ENFPs.
    I found they didn’t communicate much and can go extremely long stretches without reaching out with so much as a text. While the face-to-face conversations could go for hours and were great fun, the time between seeing them (a week or more since it was the earlier stages of dating), the silence was too much for me personally to take. It was the most exciting stage, getting to know a new person, but they seemed either lazy or very guarded with their hearts. 🤷🏻‍♀️
    I knew they were loyal and I could trust them, but the lack of quality time (due to distance, no one’s fault) & near-absence of words of affirmation in between meant we were not compatible.
    I also find they struggle so much with voicing, much less identifying, their own emotions, and proudly avoid thinking about them at all costs. 🙁That’s an exhausting way to live, as I’m deeply in touch with my emotions & use them for guidance...but it’s their prerogative and I realized it wasn’t going to change, so I have had to end romantic connections with them.
    I adore them as friends, though! The few times a year I talk to them, they’re fun & engaging, and talk my face off, haha. I think the ones I met were rather immature, INTP-Ts, perhaps. So I learned from my experiences with them & will continue to appreciate them from afar! ☺️

      @BoontarikaSripom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you so much for sharing your detailed experiences and thoughts with INTPs. I agree that verbalized emotions and differences in quality time can affect the longterm success of intimate relationships. I think avoidant attachments will find this push and pull comforting, and if it changes to a different level of need, there will be work to do in redefining wants and needs. Not very easy.

    I've got some deep-seated feels for an ENFP, and the thing I keep telling him is yeah, I'm super into you ... one of the hamsters in my brain is devoted to you alone...but I have no interest in taking over your life. The fact that you have a life of your own and pursuits that drive you is one of the main things that makes you so damn attractive to me. ❤

    • @BoontarikaSripom

      I definitely value and am attractive to personal autonomy and a strong sense of identity and core values. It is so hot. We can live our lives alongside someone, and the relationship does not define all of a person, it's a part of it where we can uplift and be refuges when needed.

      @BoontarikaSripom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      You have a childlike joy with your interests, honor play and curiosity that adults tend to lose as they age. It is endearing because ENFPs also value this lifelong endeavor, to play, be silly, explore.

    I'm INTP. I'm quite mystified by your interpretation of 'INTP love' as child-like and pure. I do realuse we are weak in that department, and I more than most. And that really means we are not always sophisticated in matters of love. But I can assure you from my experience that the childlike aspect can transform quite dramatically if we are ever hurt. There's a dark side.
