Very interesting. At 2:50, you can see Ferrari has changed quite a few things under the hood! First of which, is ignition coils instead of spark plug wires (see the connector banks on the wheel wells). This makes a lot of sense, as their factory wire setup is so problematic. Also, the injection rail is custom, or at least not factory. Seems there are several other differences around the MAF, intake and behind the coolant reservoir. Would love a spec sheet on what they did here!!
Nice review! Just wish I could hear the engine more during the track drive... I liked the 550 Maranello since it debuted in Need For Speed Road Challenge on PS1 :)
The 550 is the last Ferrrari to ONLY be sold with a manual gearbox. F1 arrived on the 575

Glad you enjoyed it 🙌😉. And, yes, I was also lamenting the fact that the V12 wasn't more audible in the recording 😟
@@GautamSharma99991 perhaps next time 😄
So strange this car have the 575 instrument cluster, why so much changes to this car? Also steering wheel leather strange
My 2001 550 has red cam covers originally from the factory!
Nice! They must look great 🔥

Ah hah… but the 550 was not the first, front engine, V12 Ferrari since the Daytona; you’re forgetting the 400, 412, and the 456 GT 😊
Listen carefully, chief 😉. I said the first front-engine, TWO-SEATER V12 Ferrari since the Daytona
@@GautamSharma99991 my apologies… but in my defence, I was watching your video at 4 in the morning 😁
