2025 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro at Circuito Ascari
Join me for a tour of the 5.425km Circuito Ascari in the new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 Pro, which is a track-focused derivative of the standard GT 63. The GT 63 Pro gets a raft of tweaks designed to improve cooling and aero, and an extra pair of radiators in the wheelarches. Meanwhile, the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 has been uprated to kick out 612hp and 850Nm (+27hp and +50Nm over the standard GT 63). The GT 63 Pro also gets 420mm carbon-ceramic discs and Michelin Pilot Cup 2R semi-slick tyres as a no-cost option. This lap was by no means a full-tilt run... It was more a sighter and settling in session as I was hoping to up the intensity in the following run. Unfortunately, it started bucketing down shortly after this lap, so that never happened. Anyway, this lap provides reasonable indication of what the car is capable of.     The Unibrow looks old and simpel! The Black blob at the back is not nice! The exterior design is a 4,5/10, not a convincing design, even a bit weak! Tech and performance is spot on, 9/10 This 12 Cilindri will only look ok in black!

    That GTS was definitely a US spec car originally. The indicators are much bigger and the rear valance are giveaways, although the bumpers have been sort of changed to European spec

    A quick correction: zeekr hasn't yet arrived to Norway, though it is expected to happen any day now, it's been on the roads in Sweden for some time already. I test sat the 001 top trim in Stockholm this summer and i must say i was seriously impressed. And with a ten year warranty, which is what they'll offer in Norway, this car is calling to me loudly, the feel of the top trim car was seriously luxurious and it will absolutely be a hefty competition for Merceds, Audi and bmw

      @@LLC4145 I'm not an expert on 308s. Also steel Vs fibreglass was one of the things I was trying to show, but certainly not the main thing. The aim was to provide an overall review of the car and what it's like to drive

    I am 72 I got to drive a Daytona back in the late 70s. It was a wonderful car and deserves the homage this design gives it. 812 and F12 didn't appeal to me like the original GTO, 275 GTB and the 599.

      He is correct that it isn't inspired by the Daytona. It is officially inspired by the Ferrari 365 GTB/4. The name Daytona was never applied to the vehicle by Ferrari. The Daytona name was created by the media. Till this day, Ferrari never called the 365 GTB/4 a Daytona. Even the official Ferrari website doesn't use the term Daytona.

      ​@@GautamSharma99991 There is some that I do go slow over. But that is only the really big bumps. The magnetic dampers really help. The faster you hit them, the more it works. 😅 I do the same in My Rs3 & Rs5 with the magnetic dampers. It's just tuned "better" in the Huracan.
