@@J.Wick.yes, using it past 4 days, it is super smooth, good battery, amazing charging speeds, excellent display, reasonably good cameras, no heating issues at all..the best value for money.

An update is coming to be able to switch lens better for OnePlus.
Shocked by the microphone quality on the oneplus. Having the s24u, it is already super good, and the oneplus is even better it seems ! Overall photo quality is identical. Video is better on Samsung's flagship though. Great job oneplus ! I would have liked some portrait shots of people and/or pets .
I thought the s24 was a little better
I actually preferred OnePlus in many of the shots. Samsung nudges ahead slightly in videos, stabilization and selfies. The contrast looks great on those low-light shots from OnePlus.
Sorry but as an avid photographer I prefer my night shots to look like night shots! I can definitely appreciate how much more natural and true to life Oneplus 12 night photos are!

One plus really stood it's ground against the champ Ultra. The only thing I noticed where there was a big difference was the selfie pics with the one plus where it had sun flare in it, but other than that 👍🏾 awesome job one plus 💯
Damn, those night shots with the OnePlus 12 looks sharp. They managed to catch up with the best this year.
Clearly one of the best value high end phone in the market.
I gotta give it to Samsung here, but barely. What OnePlus has done at its price point is commendable.
How though? Every picture and most video on the OnePlus was better.

Some pics I felt are better on OnePlus but overall Galaxy has an edge, especially in videos.
I think one plus 12 won too, much clearer shots ,if Samsung don't step up next year ,I'm switching to one plus next year
@@jasont9468 the new Lytia sensor is really great in low light. The amount of light it can capture is pretty insane and how the OP12 imagining works is just brilliant. Not the best of it yet but with couple updates I think it will be one of the best cameras this year.

I tried the S24 Ultra and OnePlus 12 and the S24 Ultra is going back. Its better in some areas, but not as far ahead as it should be for the price. And the OnePlus takes better pictures of motion, Samsung trying to take a picture of an active kid ks always a blurry mess.
Its a tradition by now.
(And the crappy exynos in europe where everyone seems already happy when its not a total catastrophy.)
Lets see if there a good contracts this year with the oneplus since its coming back to europe this year.

Good to know that the Oneplus 12 doesn't lag unlike the s24ultra it lags and causes blurry pics.
On my s24 ultra I chose this one for the s-pen and the much clearer and lower glare screen but I might get a one plus as a second phone great job by OnePlus this year
Both are very similar, I do prefer the OIS in the video footage of the S24u though. In the last 5x night photo it seems the Samsung just cropped using the 3x instead of using the 5x. Through Camera Assistant you can select if "Auto Select Lens" is ON or OFF.
The pictures on OnePlus 12 are amazing...
OnePlus: Better Pictures (impressive in low light as well)
Samsung: Better Video (stabilization very impressive)
I like the colours from the samsung but yes in nighttime it often has less noice.

Of course, since this video was made the OnePlus 12 received a major camera update that included a Pro mode. It would be interesting to see this test performed again.
I've only ever had one plus, the last one is 11. Now I took the s24 ultra just because of the design. I think the s24 ultra and oneplus 12 are both very good. 👍👍👍Better than the iPhone 15 pro max. 😏😉
My wife has s24u, amazing smartphone with zero weak points(but price). But at the night 1+12 main camera is much better, as we can see. I want to change my 1+9 pro for the 1+12.

One one thing I noticed is that the sky in the Samsung photos seems almost artificially blue, but I wasn't there. As the person who was there if you were to look at the pics which camera more correctly reproduced the colors you were seeing with the naked eye?
Does the one plus look jittery to anyone else when it's panning? I noticed it on the intro and also on the garage during lowlight
Love your videos mate. Overall, id have to give this to the s24 ultra which is to be expected but i do like the more contrast look of the oneplus
OnePlus 12 is doing a good job
I mean in good lightning good conditions the One Plus regular pics from the back camera looks actually better. People should speak up more about this. One plus has a true 10 bit screen while Ultra still going with a 8 bit screen, meaning One plus has more colors to use. The screen is brighter and little more pixel density than the Ultra maybe this is why the regular pics looks better on the one Plus in good conditions.
The OnePlus Nord which came out in 2020 could even record videos in 4K 60 fps with the front camera.

Own the S24 Ultra. Currently it over exposes pictures. I liked the OP 12 pictures much better. Will need to recheck the comparison after the Feb 22nd update for the s24U.
But honestly, I love the OP phones. Owned 3t,7t,10t. I miss that charging that OP had. The 10T was full till I took a shit for 10 min. It's a big deal, take that into consideration.

Who are we kidding? All these cameras are good. Just pick the best one in YOUR eyes. There's no bad choice. Most people can't even use more than 20% of their phone's camera potential.
Samsung is one of the only cameras where I can get accurate Bigfoot and UFO photos that aren't blurry. Been looking at the OnePlus 12 and while it has many great features, I'm not yet sold on the gigantic camera on the back or how it often washes out the image. Granted Samsung may be applying heavy post processing to the photos. In looking for a phone where one can travel internationally, with dual SIM options and a sizeable number of supported mobile frequencies, both are great. OnePlus 12 offers more memory at a reasonable price.

I definitely didn't see much of a difference between the two for any decision-making. I can go with either one, but if it comes to the built, I will go with the Ultra, and that's just for one reason, the Oneplus is thicker with 9.2 while the Ultra is just 8.6

im a oneplus guy, currently have one plus 8 everything is still perfect apart from the camera so for mw its time to upgrade.... this time was going to buy samsung ultra coz of a better camera... now i saw this video.. and im confused.. im back to step 1.. dont know which one to buy
I mean many of the times it looked better with the One Plus when it comes to normal pics and video is close. And I watch this on my 55 inch OLED so I can really see. With the price of the One Plus it is not worth buying the Samsung not at all. Just look at the end with the low light to that Boss light sign and the last pic of the video, you couldn't even see the light up sign with the Samsung but One plus was so clear took away that light around that sign beautifully sooo good.
It probably makes more or at least also sence to compare it with the s24 plus and the s24 ultra with the oppo find x 7 ultra.
Why when the OnePlus 12 offer 98% of the s24u does? In most areas it bet the s24u…
People that dunk on the Oneplus as just having better battery & bad camera can bugger off, like it literally trades punches with S24U which is considerably more expensive
Most pictures on the oneplus are looking much better. On the other hand video shots and selfie cam look are looking on the samsung much better. But if I would care about that I would just buy an iphone.
Hm the selfies on iphone arent really better. Video is by my knowledge.
Since the 10 pro Oneplus camera sensors capture so much detail and the results are wonderful. At this price point the s24 ultra shouldn't make any mistakes which it did especially at night. I am sure the Samsung has the better cameras but i just won't pay extra for it.
Obviously OP12 is better.
1. OP12 capture more light.
2. S24 is better in zoom photos more than 5x.
3. OP12 has some light flair issue.
4. S24 shows sky more blue.
5. S24 has blue tint & OP12 has yellowish as iphone.
I can only say that many of the pictures in the OnePlus look better but obviously not all of them
The OnePlus seems to do better on it's main camera in nearly every shot. That's impressive! But the selfie cameras are very different. The S24U is noticeably better.
The stabilization on the samsung is much better that the one plus 12 but the photos are similar
I`ve been a Samsung fan since the captivate, their first smartphone. I just found it`s replacement. That`s not to say it won the camera battle. But, it held it`s own for a couple hundred less. I can get earplugs, a protective case and an extra plug with the one offered in the box. It` been real Samsung! Peace!

4K video on the OnePlus looks a little better than the Samsung
Low light photos clearly and definitely go to OnePlus... But everything else goes to Samsung.
The Samsung camera is more refined but OnePlus is very close behind.... For $500 less 😯

I really like OnePlus colour calibration; Photos look more natural, and even though the S24 Ultra is better in almost every scenario, I reckon OnePlus did a good job for the price, and it should be better with updates. By the way, I am here because I first pre-ordered S24 Ultra but then cancelled it in favour of OnePlus 12 =)
Where is samsung better? From those photos shown, the OP12 was better in most cases. Especially in the night shots.

I think this video shows how overpriced Samsung really is! Quality of Camera becomes very subjective to type of usage really, but who here does not like to keep $500 bucks in their pocket to get almost the same
