The switch will not handle Bean NG well at all. It is based on the Nvidia Tegra X1+ SoC, which aside from being an ARM based chip, is also terribly slow by modern standards. It's roughly a mid-range phone from 5 years ago in terms of performance. The best chance Beam NG has on an ARM based system is an M1 Mac, and failing that, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's GPU is actually up to the task when it's not thermally or voltage limited.

I can't tell if this is a serious video or not, but those "intensive maps" are very dependant on where your bottleneck is more likely to be, and do you have AMD or NVIDIA. For example, on my CPU bottlenecked system with AMD graphics, West Coast USA and Italy are actually perfectly playable, meanwhile in Hirochi Raceway I get under 30 FPS often, no matter what graphical settings I use. Also, DO NOT disable G-Sync or FreeSync, especially if you get lower than your monitor's hz. Those technologies adjust the monitor refresh rate so the game will feel smoother and there won't be any tearing.
I don't know why, but with a RTX 3060 6GB, 16 GB of RAM, and an external HDD, i get (with Mid range settings) choppy fps that goes from 80 to 13 in a nanosecond, and always slows down. same thing for low end settings, but i get choppy fps that go from 107 to 15. It's a miracle the game even boots...I'm legit surprised
Oh my, how the definition of potato changes depending on where you look. My local need for speed most wanted enthusiasts would consider that a high end hacking machine. Jokes aside, pc's have really gone a long way.
@@igameidoresearchtoo6511Ngl I was too when I first installed it.
"Do i really need more than 20 mods?"
*Me with 164 mods, 158 of which are just cars.*
33.3GB is a fair trade.
My first graphic card can't even run beamng drive lol
Tip best cheap graphic card is RX 570 or RX 5700 XT
8:30 That *EXTRA* *CRISPYNESS* with the zoom-in killed me 💀 lmao
9:32 me watching this with like 150gb of mods: 😬
me too xd
R5 3600, EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SC, 16 GB ram, went from avg ~ 38.9 to ~ 80.5 on west coast at 1080p, using the mid range settings. I wanted the 5% lows to be around 75Hz, before adding the UI elements, since that's what my monitor does. After adding my choice of UI the avg went to ~ 77.5. Might tinker with it and drop some fps for better visuals if I feel like it. Thanks MuYe.
Edit: spelling
from ~60 to ~115 with high end specs, I was running my dynamic reflections too high but these settings are great!

Intro feels like BeamNG was ported to Switch. Recently hacked Switch for more games and have to admit Switch is pretty much has nothing to play, apart from Nintendo games. And I feel like OC Switch can run BeamNG in 60fps 720p
Small tip over it
Close background apps. This helps, and a lot
On my RTX 2060 6GB card, following the mid-range optimisation I got
Before: 70fps average
After: 110fps average
MuYe, I have a laptop Acer Nitro 5 wtih Intel core-i7 and NVIDEA 3050 Ti for laptops. With all ultra settings I have only avg 18 fps, and at minimum graphics + 1600*900 (instead of 1920*1080) resolution I have avg 45 fps, but at other games (like CS:GO) it is avg 220 fps. Even no mods, cash cleaning and clean reinstalling doesn't help... WTF?! What should I do?
My frames went from 2 to 4! Thanks! And the cpu temp is now 109 degrees!
Went from 56 to 75 on Jungle Rock Island (without moving of course) Helped a tonne. Thanks so much , used a mix between low end and mid range (1650 Max-Q)
My fps on Utah:
25-30 with lowest settings
13 fps on normal settings
7-9fps on ultra settings
So the awnser is to play it on ultra, as it got a really good fps raid 😜
First! Pin me!
No! I will not pin you!

me who is on a laptop scared to download this shit cause its probably gonna crash this shit:
I have an rtx 2060 and a Ryzen 5500 processor. On west coast USA, before optimisation I had an average frame rate of 30 💀 but even after the optimisation it was only 34? Can anybody help
02:55 Thanks to MuYe, it took me over a year to realise I have'nt plugged in my graphicscard wondering about the small amount of my power my pc have.
that must be the greatest feeling ever
@@CrafterOscar Yes, it was.
Thats pure stupidity but at least you found out lol
Are you joking?
@@regera6019 I wish I would
Damn this helped a lot I was at like 17 fps or lower now im at like 50 and 30's.
I found your channel on the beamng steam page which was about FPS increase, glad you made another one.
potato optimasation dind't even help a lil bit thx if you reading.! thx MuYe
1:30 what is that song I remember that just forgot the name
went from 17 to 24 fps
2:42 i have not Nvidia i have Intel :(
I have NVIDIA on my PC
I don’t think you understand stand you got an arc card?
0 fps before and 0 fps after... really helped thanks!
If someone can answer this, Im planning to get beamng drive again, but Im not using the same computer as I was before, I currently have a 1050 ti and Ryzen 5 5600g, could it run Beamng?
It should be fine, just use the lower-end settings
framerate before: 50-70 (gridmap v2)
framerate after: 50-90 (west coast usa)
specs:
intel core i5 7400
sapphire nitro+ rx580
8gb ddr4 ram
Pro tip set it to windowed and make it smaller
It looks better than lowering the resolution
Straight from a patato
(graphics card less) idiot
Who made a PC with no graphics card 😢
thanks after i did this my wife and my kids left me
4:06 I had to rewatch it so many times because it was so frking GREAT
FPS on lowest settings: 20
FPS after turning Texture and Lightning to Normal: Not Responding
Before: 13 - 14 FPS
After - 27 - 28 (Only if you look up), 13.7 - 14.4 - .3 if you look f/b.
Thanks! its a big improvement!
After following potato + random changing, i got an increase 10fps ! Now if have 35fps !
Thank you Moyo, my frameraterinos went from 1.5 to 6 FPS and it really makes a difference.
Wall poster to flick book. I like it 😆
@@EatingMachine23 honestly
damn 4x difference

He has the dad of the school PC itself 💀
Before watching: 31 fps
After watching: 31 fps
i already optimized it lol
I kinda feel like the game should run at double the framerate in general.
goofy ahh ancient DX11 game
I get 40 fps with 4gb of ram. My trick is to play the oldest version you can get.
West Coast:

thanks, gained a lot of fps with my boomer old gtx 1050 ti
Its not impossible to match monitor refresh rate when its 75hz 🗿🗿🗿
it went from 112 fps to average 280 fps thank helped a lot
Woow! I gotta follow your step by step Muye ❤❤ hope it works 100% successfully 💕💕💕
starting was about 75 to 80
ending is: 70
fps limiter is good for 1 thing, stability, just put it in your average FPS or a bit lower and you will solve the stability issues i was getting
I went from an average of 6 fps to an average of 15 fps thank you!
I got a Core i7 3770k, 12GB RAM (One 4GB RAM Stick broke) GTX 660 Ti Power Edition and average 30FPS on "Normal" Settings. After this video I get around 50 - 60 FPS on the more low end settings, But I do plan on upgrading my GPU eventually to a GTX 1660 Ti or something like that for better performance without making my wallet scream.
EDIT: I did a bottleneck calculation with my PC, And I realized I need a better processor to have full use of the new GPU, I plan on moving to AMD at some point though! Meaning new PC All together, So probably a lot of money :/
west coast usa midrange
rtx 2060 (12g oc edition)
rysen 5 5600x
starting fps: max 56
after: max 102 avg 70
i tired the mid range optimization and it did absolutely zero difference
I was getting anxious about the video being actually serious and got worried that we lost the muye we all know and love

I have a Intel i5 12, Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti and 8gb RAM, What settings is the best?
Hey man! I'm here to help! @Surel With these specs, I would recommend turning these graphics all to low, then turn off all effects without motion blur and bloom, set the lighting quality and shader, post processng, to low and turn all shadows on! I have a GTX 1050 but not a Ti only the 2GB model, I hope this helped, wishing luck!
i have a 75Hz monitor so 60 to 75 fps is good for me
finally. i can play beamng on my potato pc

Ask questions if you need.
Anybody know what the problem is?
Do i have to reinstall the game on my internal SSD instead?
Edit: I tested this on the West Coast USA map. Also, with a different car the game ran smoother??
My PC has
Intel 7 -7700
ram ddr4 - 48gb
