In fairness, most people wouldn't have been able to accurately predict half of these matches. This World Cup was chaotic and unpredictable from start to finish, with so many upsets.

With Germany it wasn't that surprising if you paid attention to the prior signals. Germany lost against teams like Hungary (twice). That was enough to consider how weak was Germany. I bet for Germany being out. Just I had Spain first and Japan second.

Of course. A coach who got his job in September making a Cinderella run with Morocco. First place in a group with Belgium and Croatia, then knocking out Spain (one of the favorites) and Portugal (after a ridiculous 6-1 victory), and making a solid game against France despite losing their best defenders.

Brazil beating Argentina with a Fred goal is still the worst out of all of this. Though you were onto something with the upsets… you just missed on just about all of them.

I was never into football my entire 24 years of living, until I got with some friends I hadn’t seen in years and i got together to watch the World Cup and cheer on our country

The biggest crime in your predictions video was predicting Lautaro Martinez to score
90% of the people had him as the best goal scorer XD including me.
To be fair, he was clearly more proven than Alvarez at club level. So naturally everyone thought that would transfer to the World cup, but what do we know.
@@Ian-zf5ss He did great with Argentina during Copa America and against Italy, he even did good against Saudi Arabia, but after all his two goals were nullified that match the guy just mentally blocked out completely for the rest of the tourney.
I still can't understand how I can predict Japan and Morocco to get through the group but then stupidly went to predict England and France to get grouped. You're not alone man.

England is easy because they perform horribly with southgate and get through because of favourable draws alongside home advantage
Finishing bottom of a group containing germany, italy and hungary spoke a lot more about southgate than world cup semi and euro final.
The Denmark hype was beyond my comprehension. You can't predict a surprise or else it won't be one lol Morocco in 22, Croatia in 18, Costa Rica in 14, Uruguay/Ghana in 10, Turkey in 02...

From Mexico tbh, no one here really expected to qualify. The team was too old, full of corruption and played terrible. If so, it was a mild surprise (not huge but still) they managed to win against Saudi Arabia

LOL. if Lautaro hadn't been offside by MILLIMETERS for the entire Saudi Arabia game...you could have had that one. That match was wild; it should have been 4-0 by halftime and instead, the second half was the most frustrating thing I've ever watched at 3 AM. People actually started believing that 1 fluke defeat in 3 years (now 4!) meant Argentina would collapse. Your jinx powers are legendary, though. The Scaloneta owes you one.

I'm not sure if you're okay with video suggestions, but im going to make one: Sunderland AFC. Relegated to the championship, the only season i bought a sunderland ticket (woohoo!), in 2017, and then double relegated to League One. From there, it took FOUR YEARS OF IMMENSE PAIN before we made it back to the championship and are currently 8th.
To be honest the only thing that fumed me was Argentina, France,england and Portugal not making it past Group stage and round of 16

The coach (the bald guy) got sacked because an upset soccer mom did not see her son (Gio Reyna) get much playing time in the World Cup. The family dug up some old dirt about him being a wifebeater to his girlfriend (now wife) to get him cancelled.

@@m.c.martin this. And for few minutes during the Australia match it was becoming true, but at the end, the group helped and they actually started the curse in 2002 so they may broke up.
