In bootcamp, my chief, who had been in for 14 years, said that if the Navy was to make her do OC spray training again, she would say no and not retire.
how about teaching them what the Constitution actually says ( including all Amendments ...not just the 4th ) before asking them to sign a oath to uphold it..!!!
@@jdoe2806 ....if you picked up a novel that had 27 chapters in it...and you read only the 4th chapter...would you say that you were knowledgeable enough to explain or interpret that novel..... ???

You can only go based on your personal interaction with others. They don't teach the constitution in schools much anymore, and you want police officers to be taught it in its entirety? Ha! They teach the parts of the constitution that pertain to a police officer's job. I suggest everyone who takes a driving test for their drivers license, be taught what to do when stopped by an officer and more importantly... what not to do.
They do. The sections which apply to the enforcement of the laws of the state. Guess what they also teach the state constitution and state and local laws of the state as well as department regulations. What you’re not understanding is, the military defends the constitution the police upholds it. Police enforce the laws while using the constitution, and case laws enacted by the courts.

Which amendments do you want them to specifically focus on?

Yeah legal block section text is 100+ pages and all the bill of rights are highlighted so do some research before you post incorrect assumptions
