    My Zebra does 25mph with throttle only, and higher with Pedal assist 5, I just recieved my new seat by Cloud9, The Cruiser-Ciser saddle, it's Big and comfortable ! LUV my Bike! When accelerating, it's smooth and subtle, and if you adjust the power increase % in the settings for the pedal assist , that helps it to be smooth and subtle... The gears and sprocket were designed for 20mph. Peddling is maxed out at 21/22mph on pedal assist 5. So, a bigger front sprocket with 52 teeth, would add a 8/9th extra gear, so you can peddle at a higher speed without maxing out, to a possible 28/30 + mph...

      Do a range test full electric to get your real world results 40 miles or so. Not the claimed 60 these companies exaggerate

    Thank you for your review, EBPMAN. I recently purchased a Rad Power RadCity Step-Thru 3 e-bike for my wife which I, too, have been enjoying. Its 65 lbs. is significant and while I understand that e-bike frames to some extent must be over-built to accommodate the added weight of the engine and battery and whatever additional features each has, going up to 79 lbs. for this bike is, wow. I can imagine it being a little much for an older, infirmed, and/or individual with any type of physical limitations to lift and load on to a bicycle rack by themselves. I have heard good things about this brand, however, concerning its line of high-power, high-torque, and good miles-per-charge performance, however, so I’m still exploring their other models for a possible 2nd e-bike in our family. Again, thanks for all the time and work you invested in developing and sharing this review with us - very much appreciated!

This doesn't happen when u move to footage of the products! Anyways, love your stuff n keep up the amazing content!

    • @FlowJunkie65
      @FlowJunkie65 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was questioning that statistic, too. Reminds me of the Chinese bike batteries at Amazon that say a light is 3,000 lumens when it’s closer to 1,000. I’ll believe the 60 miles statistic when somebody actually performs a legit miles-per-charge test.

    Hi EBPMan, Your statement regarding the cadence sensor. Are you sure it is not a torque sensor on the 2022 production model? Which is it really? Also the rear brake guard is covering the derailleur system not the brake system. It seems everyone is confused about this. How many sprocket teeth does the front crank ring have? Most have 46 in that category. This makes a big difference in pedal assist speed/range. Does it have an app for the phone to unlock it to 28mph? Thx:)

    I changed my handle grips and my left wrist is thanking me ,I had a broken wrist years back and the original grips gave me so much pain as they don't stay in place and the wrist is placed in an awkward position ,all the bumps and jars had me in a world of pain .For ten dollars I bought some simple rubber grips and solved my problem and the potential is there for your hands to just slide off those grips if your not tightly hanging on .

  • @DYNABIKE1
    @DYNABIKE1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    One more small error- - - You called the rear derailleur on the right side of the bike as a " brake system guard ". It protects the gears and shifting system.

    No way on gods given earth will you get 60 miles pure electric these companies predictions you can say 60%-70% is possible. I seen another member do a range test full electric on lvl 3 flat grounds and got 42 miles. To get 60 miles electric you will need about a 25ah battery

    Great review! There is not much on TH-cam about Zebra ... I also watched your review from Himiway Cruiser. So I wonder if the Zebra is a better option than the Himiway Cruiser in terms of price? Does it justify that price difference? Thank you,

      The Zebra is a updated version of the Cruiser, buy the Zebra or the Cobra, they are the newest bikes by Himiway, improved motor and battery, and also the frame is beefy

  • @sergchisage9570

    From my experience I found this bike as a big disappointment and wouldn't recommend it to other potential customers. Firstly this company has problems with shipping(parts that I ordered together with a new bike, Himiway managed send to me only 23 days after receiving my payment. Secondly the manual book arrived in the German language. After only like 120 km riding, the kickstand got broken and did not fold out (I used it around 10-15 times) Then the maximum distance that I managed to get on the fully charge battery was 65 km!!!! (With only my weight on it(less than 80 kg), mostly on fully flat roads, with tire pressure 30 PSI and temperature outside 12-15°). The support team would do their best to find any excuse but not the solution, some of the replies from them after sending them messages I received only on the fourth day and only after reminding them about it. On top of that, the bike I bought and received from them was made two years ago. On my question to the support team why the bike already is two years old I still haven't received an answer.

    At 330lbs it's hard to find a bike that I can ride. This seems like it was the best value for the dollar when I compared it across with other similarly priced models out there (I was looking hard at the RadWagon4). What I would like to know is what effects my weight will have on the range I get out of the bike since I will be using it to commute around 40km each way every day. I don't want to cheat by riding on pure electric but I'm out of shape and will probably need the boost for the first little while.

    • @jojox6145
      @jojox6145 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Weight, terrain, climate, and much more will affect your range. However, the zebra and the cobra/cobra pro will in my opinion be the best options. One of the major differences between the two models is the zebra has a hub motor as opposed to the Cobras mid-drive motor. For me, I believe the best option will be the Cobra. The Cobra offers more torque for getting up those big hills. The mid-drive motor has more spinning parts that work together to get me where I need to go with ease. With the hub-motor it’s just that one wheel propelling all of my weight. I’m willing to put in the extra work (and invest the extra money) involved with shifting the gears for the comfort and peace of mind in knowing wherever I go, my bike will be able to handle the extra pressure my weight puts on the bike and it’s components.

    Nice review. I have a couple of "video" questions: 1) What app or how are you displaying the speed on the lower left of the video screen? 2) Are you using a drone or what are you using to get the shots from the side and back as you ride? Interesting. Thank you very much, John

    • @andrewneven6816
      @andrewneven6816 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Low BBB ratings are not unique to Himiway. Look up all of the other eBike companies and you will see they all have low ratings. People who have complaints post their reviews at BBB. People who are happy with their purchase don't go the BBB. This doesn't mean Himiway is without issues, just keep it in perspective when you look up this information.
