Hi, really informative video thank you. I'm planning on taking the NPRA approach. I do have my bachelor's degree but I do not want to go through the masters degree. I do have 7 years of experience but only 8 months with a registered architect. Are you familiar with the NPRA process or do you know anyone who has gone through this process? Most of my work has been residential, does this have any impact on the registration?
Hi, thank you for such a kind comment. unfortunately i'm not familiar with the NPRA approach. It would be best if you contact the Registration Board directly who can give you more direction if you need. As far as I know, the sector of experience you have doesn't impact on the registration process. Best of luck!
Thanks for the information. I am a registered architect in India and have got positive response in skill assessment as an Architecture draftsman.I am planning to shift to Australia next year (as the process got delayed due to Covid) I want to know what is the first step that is needed to be done so as to join an office there? Please suggest.

Hi Jose, sorry for the delay. Things have been rough. Hope you and your girlfriend are well and have arrived in the country safely. You don't need to be registered to work at an Architecture practice as a draftman or Architectural Assistant. I know alot of people on working or partner visas who have no problem finding a job. Good luck! Wish you all the best!
