@@kursatosmanoglu6888 good question. I couldn't tell until she said "Italian Limestone floors", at 3:39. Upon further research, AKA Googling "what colour is Italian limestone?", I happened upon this explanation: _"And because of the presence of a variety of minerals, it comes in numerous colors. The colors range from grey to buff, light beige to dark browns, reds, greens, greys, blues, blacks, yellow to pink, or orange pastel shades."_ So there we have it, folk; it's likely both colours.
Jaw-dropping! And minimalist! Perfection. However to find such a space and develop and ''re-use'' an industrial building and not a new build from ground up is so encouraging and illustrates what good design and being in tune with the orginal building can result in something so brilliant. Thank you for sharing this incredible home.
They kept the brick wall boundary and nothing else. This narrative of "re-use" is masturbatory. These were incredibly wealthy people who did it because they thought it'd look nice, not for any other reason associated with sustainability, limiting waste, etc.
Amazing conversion of the commercial space to a home. It's so beautiful, peaceful, and serene. The creation of multiple Gardens and inner courtyards on the site is a wonderful use of space. Love the amount of privacy and seclusion that exists. Wonderful home! Minimalist at it's best!
This kind of minimalism is so beautiful and a real achievement. The windows and courtyards visible from each room, allowing the garden to be seen is very inspiring. Love it
As a retired architect, I say without hesitation that this house is just brilliant. I've only worked on major projects; museums, office building and the like, but is I planned to get myself a new house these are the architects that I would appoint
Absolutely gorgeous. Calming. The kitchen is fabulous. The garden areas are divine. My stress level declined just watching this. I can only imagine the joy of living there.
Being their own client, you can see the immense amount of love and detail poured into the home. I can sense the serenity from here, thanks for letting us in.
The external walls are great-they allow privacy, texture, color and best use of all the land. The lushness of the gardens are also great and the creation of courtyards really made this space livable. The rest of the interior is every other minimal, modern box and misses out an opportunity to say something really new for an architect and builder.
Very impressed with the courtyards and greenery with sliding windows. Keeping the high original walls has resulted in a sheltered oasis, as intended. Beautifully done.
This home architect design looks absolutely stunning! The combination of modern aesthetics and practical functionality is truly impressive. I love the use of natural light and open spaces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident, and it's clear that a lot of thought went into every aspect of the design. Overall, it's a masterpiece of architecture that promises both beauty and comfort for its future residents.
I’ve had a home i designed drawn up for YEARS, and the biggest thing I want, is a large center courtyard (basically a square house, with 4 rooms, and the middle courtyard being big enough for a hot tub and a grill, and a little bit of grass). I love houses with courtyards!
A really interesting project for sure! I couldn't live there, it feels like living in a mausoleum to me...but for many, it's heaven. The architectural aspect of it is the best I've seen, ever.
Landscape of the house is absolutely awesome i loved the kitchen details and corridor book shelves.. Window in son's room is really looking very cool due to the broad leaves coming up.
Such a beautiful modern tranquil home, just stunning and here with all this light and glass a dark kitchen looks great. Great you left the home one level, high ceilings and there is no need for a second floor and love the limestone. Just so zen a real sanctuary from our chaotic world especially with the gardens
Would love to see more around floorpans and the clever use of space and light. The courtyards are such a great design choice but hard to see how they worked with the space they had
This is a Korean interior manufacturer who is interested in the interior of Australia. I'm so happy to see a video of a very nice space! I'll visit often. Thank you for the video.~♥
I think I may have found my dream home to live in. I can't find the right word to describe how this place looks and how it makes me feel. I have always dreamed of building a home that's minimalist, functional and exquisite. I may have found it when I stumbled upon this video. Such a serene yet gorgeous place.
What a spellbinding transformation of a warehouse into a suburban oasis! Black and white is a timeless combination that speaks to me! I wish we had such beautiful homes in India! I absolutely enjoyed the tour of your lovely home! Hope to see more!
A terrific conversion utilising all the benefits of the old existing footprint. Appears excellent choices of materials, human relatable and realistic dimensions with heights and room sizes while still having an overriding feeling of space due to the connections with the exterior. Plan appears simple but very functional. Would liked to see effect of a warm sunny day (unfortunate overcast making darkish & hard to judge aspect), as I think there could have been missed opportunity with passive cooling.
Even though this home is pure minimalism, and not really my style, I absolutely LOVE the tranquil courtyards. I could spend hours reading and relaxing in total privacy. The light rain just adds enough background "noise". 🤗 My only question is how do gardeners get to and maintain the courtyards, without carrying their equipment across those Italian limestone floors?!? 🤔
Some of these design details are very similar to architecture found in Merida, Mexico. Gardens visible from within rooms in the home and sky lights in the bathroom shower area for a brighter space, and simple textures. Very beautiful

Good morning ☀️ I’d like to purchase three back issues. Do you ship to the US?
Black cabinetry, white walls, and gray floors; I'm such a fan of these. And that courtyard!
Are the floors in the kitchen gray or ivory? It was hard to tell for me.

Thanks Luke. I googled too about the Italian limestone colors. Hard to tell sometimes with the light. Thanks
@@kursatosmanoglu6888 they're beautiful nonetheless. Stunning place 😍
it actually looks very modern and elegant. but it looks sad to live there alone. well its the people that would make it alive

Absolutely love the use of space with the courtyards, the perfect privacy and lushness of those gardens, just beautiful! ❤
I’m a sucker for interior courtyards. This is beautiful. Very calm, relaxing, spare, but not cold.
Truly the first architect on this channel whose philosophy I’m 100% in sync with. Congratulations on creating your home.
I agree.

This is a stunning example of minimalism at its best. Wishing this family many years of joy in their home!
The level of restraint shown in this project is something I aspire to.
Excellent sound design 👌🏿
@olivia o. I am also repeatedly drawn to this design. Not to mention the garden goals as I aspire to craft my own. Restraint = big impact! 😀
Can't say it's my taste but you can tell they executed their vision in a very comprehensive and personal way. Very striking!
Minimalist tranquility and green outdoor spaces mix so well here
just listening to her explain and the home.. can imagine why the house is peaceful.. so is her voice and they way she talk... amazinggggggggggggg
Love the peace and simplicity of this house. Everything just right.
I think I took a first breath at the beginning and a second one at the very end... So calm! The music fits perfectly to the mood of the rain.

Complete and utter architectural ingenuity. Such a brilliant transformation!
Love love love this home. Probably the best I've seen on The Local Project. Great job by the homeowners!
I love the space and also the placement of all foliage throughout the front entrance and outside the living area. So simple and lush!
This is a beautiful design. It has new features while protecting the natural environment. This is an ecofriendly modern house with all facilities.
This is what Architecture is all about. Perfect.
5:20 Of course The Local Project films their magazine in such a beautifully artistic way!
Architect and Developer = a match made in heaven!

Apart from those paintings (please take them away), it is the minimalist calm perfection.
Rigorous and never boring monotony.

I love its content, it is very concise and quiet haha. Greetings from Buenos Aires
Beautiful, elegant, sophisticated. And as a fellow minimalist, love all of the hidden storage to put things away.
