Hey man, really appreciate the video and the detailled step-by-step guide. Unfortunately, the setup still kept getting stuck for me. Here's a little bit of context: I tried downloading nba 2k22 from fitgirl repack and when I started the setup, it kept getting stuck at 97.6(even after verifying the bin files). Then I found ur video and followed it step by step including checking files, rebooting with safe mode and making sure of the compatibility. Still, it kept getting stuck at 97.6 percent. Do you have any suggestions as to what else I can do?
Hey Jack, I am sorry that you're still facing the issue. If you're facing stuck issues at a random percent % (other than 0.01%), I recommend you checking out part 2 of this video (link in pinned comment). That should probably help you fix the issue. Just be patient. If the issue still persists, let me know and I'll help you further.

@@zo_zo_z Did you enable the 'Limit RAM Usage' option? If that doesn't fix, try switching off UAC and change the game folder name as 'NBA' in the installation box.
If I could like this video twice....I really would've done it... Bro awesome man...first I tried to boot in to safe mod...I thought it was in safe mod and it didn't work...and out of desperation I tried again... And voila....it now booted in safe mode and started to work

Microsoft defender eats my setup file so I turned it off and downloaded it again but when I clicked on msconfig and restarted it the MS defender turns on by automatic and eats my setup file

Microsoft defender eats my setup file so I turned it off and downloaded it again but when I clicked on msconfig and restarted it the MS defender turns on by automatic and eats my setup file
Set the folder as exception in MS Defender.
