    No roof means less stiff but it also means you can easily hop over the door. Weld 'em up. Super stiff. Job done lmao

    I got similar blocks. Shocked at how much it reduced rattles. Tests suggest that it doesn't actually add much stiffness, but the mental effect of it sounding and feeling stiffer should not be underestimated. The stiff blocks just make the car nicer, especially as the old rubber ones are completely knackered after 20 to 30 years

    Just got recommended your video on my main page. For a small channel, especially one of the few aussie channels out there I have to say your production quality and content is amazing.
    Later this year I'm purchasing a ST165 GT-Four Celica, and this has got me wanting to start a channel of sorts documenting the restoration. PS, I'm from Sydney!

      Thank you! That is an awesome car, a restoration series would be really cool to see. One of our crew has a 7th gen celica with a trd bodykit, its in the shop right now, but expect some videos on that one day!

    A good set of coil overs, front and rear sways & adjustable end links and optional a front upper shock tower brace and new tires will drastically improve the overall handling of your Miata..Trust me!

    You can 3d print the door bushings. I had some printed at work in carbon fiber. Basically had the same outcome as you. Not really any noticeable stiffness but the rattles went away and my doors shut much easier now.

    • @daycrew
      @daycrew  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Carbon fibre would be pretty cool. Jealous you can 3D print stuff like that!

    Tried these on my Mk3.5 Sport Tech. Only difference was I had to slam the doors to get them to shut properly. Threw them away and went back to standard ones.

    I have bushes, made no difference, car on 4 jack stands is as stiff as you would need and rocks on the stands before and after. Sure it will assist but it's in no way a game changer, spuds will tell you it's a game changer but it's optimistic at best

    Mine are sitting in a box of failed and used parts . Trash . In defense of the product I only used a week and my car only 20k on it . Your money would be better spend on a new set of OEM bumpers. You just had worn out bumpers to start with.
