Since 2001 I have had 9 mx5s (4 NB2.5s, 1 NC3 and 4 NC 3.5s. I sold number 8 because I was finding it too difficult too get in and out of. Six months later I bought number 9 because I so missed driving something that felt, and feels, like an extension of my body. They are special cars - and in more than 250000 miles the only thing that has ever gone wrong with any of mine was an electric window. So just hang onto yours.

Woooooow!!! That's absolutely mad!! 9!!! Hahaha! That's amazing! I've sadly JUST sold this (as I need the cash for my freelance video career at the moment, nothing to do with the car itself really) but my intention is to earn more from the short term investment and come back to a BBR spec NC in the future! Come back with a bang, buy one in a more vibrant colour when I'll have even more appreciation of missing it!

@@richardcoates4471 yes, agreed. I’ve had 2xNA and an NB2.5 and looked at an ND but couldn’t get on with the interior at all. It’s just too tightly packaged. And in RHD, the sensation of having to reach up and over the handbrake to change gear felt weird. Never “felt” like that in my old 5s.

    • @adri1leusha

@@smithp573 Same here! I've had a 1.6 NA for about two years, and I just bought a 1.8 RHD NA, and a 1.8VVT RHD NBfl.
The VVT engine will probably end up in the 1.6 NA, and the 1.8 NA I plan to restore it and keep it OE...
I don't see myself driving anything else in the future (if I do, I'll still keep at least one miata!)

When my daughter was shopping for a car, I saw a beautiful, shiny, little red convertible MX-5 in the middle of the showroom. I told my daughter if it is a manual, I’m getting it. It was a 2016, with only 20k on it.
It was truly an impulse buy.

We bought a 2001 in 2014 with 50,000 miles on it. It’s a summer only car, so in my climate it sleeps 6-7 months. It now has 69,000 miles. The past 3 years we have taken it on “adventure.” We drive out 500 miles or so and then drive around towards home (ish). Top down. No interstates. No reservations. It’s always a great trip. Mountain roads are fun to carve. Scenic cruises are lovely. Getting towards the end of our 10th Miata season. I don’t think we’ll ever give up this car until we can’t get down in it.

I miss my 2013 PRHT Club. I had two 1995 NA. Yes the NA are lighter, but people tend to over look that the NC has 2 extra airbags, more interior space, and a much more safe and rigid chassis. So it's not that the extra weight was for nothing.

Owned my MX5 NC MK3 for 2 years now, made so many quality improvements such as BC coilovers, GCFABRICATIONS roll bar, rota grid wheels, Scorpion exhaust system, alcantara bucket seat, TRS harness, alcantara steering wheel, carbon fibre track door cards, Mtech brakes, yellow stuff pads, Dave fab engine bits, Cybul strut braces, precision customs gear and handbrake knobs, genuine leather gaiters, under seal protection and an Avery Dennison wrap. It’s in storage during the winter months and I love tinkering about with it over the winter. I use it as fun summer car, driving to the coast for the weekend and attending many car shows. It’s a great way to meet other car enthusiasts and I would never sell it. I’ve spent a lot of money on making the car exactly the way I want it.

If you're UK based, I really recommend Snetterton and Bedford Autodrome for first track days. They're such brilliant tracks anyway that you'd go back year after year, they're just great for being mostly (if not all) flat with huge, grassy run-offs if you were to be unlucky and spin out/overcook it. Also, there are enough straights that faster cars are very patient and don't do insane overtakes.

Spot on. I've had my 2006 mk3 NC for 3.5 years and have driven many cars over the last 25 years. The mk3 MX5 is easily the best drivers car for the money. You can have huge fun within the speed limit. Nothing else compares. A proper wheel alignment is a must too and keep the tyre pressures at a constant all round - the chassis setup is very precise and the pressures do make a difference.

Had experience of one of these (Mk 3.5 with the better ride height) from new (my ex wife's) for many years. The biggest and best modification (as you cover) from new was a suspension set up at Centre Gravity. Took it there 2 weeks out of the dealership and it genuinely transformed the steering. The level of weight and feeling added with nothing more than adjustment was gob smacking. Had small subtle changes to how it handled cambers etc but the improvement to the steering was immense and worth the money alone.

Great video mate. It was actually your initial video of your MK3 that made me decide on a MX5, except I chose a MK2. I've had it for just over 8 months now, and of course I've discovered many drawbacks - but I've found little ways around them. The main one was trying to go camping with a MX5, I was going to sell up and buy myself a Volvo or Saab estate of some description before realising that I could just get a boot bag and add about 50-75ltrs of space to the car for longer trips. My Mrs has been really good at keeping my head on straight, and kinda pushed me to focus on adding bits to the MX5 to make it more my own - and through this I've fallen in love with the car more. I'm proud to own an MX5, and the community behind it is amazing. Some bits you mentioned about a roll bar and coil-overs are a must (I'd say) for all MX5s as it will increase driving experience. Thank you for making these videos, very informative. And thank you for being the reason I even purchased one in the first place, makes me feel good knowing I swapped a crappy Chinese 2019 MG3 for a £3000 MX5.

That's amazing about your other half supporting the car, mine also has been super supportive and has told me not to sell it many times! It obviously shows how much joy these cars bring to us! And absolutely, the community is superb!
If you're ever in the South East area of the UK and fancy seeing the car on the channel, I'd be chuffed to film it - I've not driven an NB before, let alone a nicely sorted one!
Huge thanks again for your kind words mate and happy MX-5ing!

I've had my '06 NC since 2010. Still puts a smile on my face. The only upgrades I've done are an aftermarket stereo head-unit, a behind-the-seat powered subwoofer (won't fit under the seat), and a Moroso aluminum engine coolant reservoir. The original plastic one failed (I later learned that this is a common occurrence), leaving me stranded on the highway. Fortunately I was only a few miles from home.

I absolutely loved my NC MX-5 (Miata here in the colonies) A one-owner 2006 I bought in 2016 with 95k on it. The previous owner took meticulous care of it and it looked and drove like a new car. My previous experience with a "slow" little sports car was a 1960 Porsche 356B Roadster so I knew what a "momentum" car was. I had to pass it on as failed back surgery erased my ability to use a clutch. My "commute" was 2 miles and I generally rode a bike, so it really was a fun car. In 20k miles it was absolutely trouble free (I did have to replace the rear Bilsteins as one developed a serious leak). At 5'11" the cockpit was tight but I didn't have any problem on some longer drives up and down the Southern California coast. What the MX-5 was made for. The more you pushed it the better it was. I really miss it!

Spot on! My 2008 MX-5 has been my daily ride since 1010 and I strongly agree with your observations. I also use my wife’s Honda Civic for occasions when more cargo or passenger capacity is required. While the MX-5 excels on winding country roads, don’t underestimate it in traffic. Its small stature, unrestricted visibility, short breaking distance, and nimble lane changing ability make it an excellent choice for challenging commutes. such as on the Southern California freeways.

This is a great review, and had 100% made up my mind about getting a MK3.5, ive had SLK's etc in the past but the roofs have leaking problems (which i have had to DIY deal with to avoid a 4k bill) on a car that should be premium. I miss having a convertible but don't want that constant anxiety thinking its gonna cost me an arm and a leg. The only slight niggle is the noise factor, i do love have V6's etc as they are an event, but again an event which comes with more upkeep costs. I bought my used NC-1 from a reluctant seller, his wife was about to have their first baby so she told him they needed a bigger car. I can’t imagine a smaller NC from the a, b, and d models because this one is small but I love it. I was able to stuff a 17x9 wheels with 245 40 tires and is sitting lower thanks to coil overs. The suspension and wheel changes resolves the design issues and many people unfamiliar with MX5’s have asked me if I had a wide body kit. Great fun cars and reasonably cheap.

I had a Mk3 from new for 14 years - and absolutely nothing went wrong with it. It was superb. I traded it in 2021 for an ND2, the latest MX5. Which is even better! Except the steering - the hydraulic rack on the Mk3 is better than the electric one on the ND - but there's not much in it - the ND is pretty bluddy good in that respect too. And it's 181bhp and lighter than the Mk3 so it handles and goes better!
Before the Mk3 I had a 2004 Mk2, also from new, which I traded for the Mk3 in 2007 so I had that just 3 years before the foldy hard top roof and extra room in the Mk 3 persuaded me me to upgrade.
Your so called 'design shortcomings' are surely just facts of life with a small sports car. Obviously the boot is small, and obviously you are too tall to comfortably fit it. I suspect even changing a headlight is as awkward for most cars as in the MX5.
My wife has a CX-30 for the times we need more than 2 seats and serious luggage space - but that's not what MX5s are about.

Ya know what, I genuinely had *many* more laugh out loud moments in my Swift Sport! Despite the better steering, gearchange, driving position, drivetrain layout, engine noise and speed of the MX-5 it's the Swift that has the more playful chassis that gives you the confidence to play around with cheeky lift- off oversteer etc. I just used to cackle in that car all the time and yet didn't have any gripes to complain about. The boot was EVEN smaller in the Swift but having rear seats meant I could realistically transport plenty of things and people plus I got 50mpg most of the time!
If I could only have one it'd actually be the Swift. If I was buying a track-focused toy and I lived in Scotland or Wales then I'd choose the MX-5, but truthfully I had more fun in Wales in the Swift both times!

Really enjoyed this review. I own a 2005 Launch Edition NC, complete with the BBR Super 200 kit installed by a previous owner. I can totally relate to the feelings of falling out of love with it, as I feel like I've been falling out of love with mine, and I've even started looking at stuff with more special engines, like the Jaguars etc, but much like you, every time I go out in it and drive it *properly* I remember what I like about it and genuinely for the money I paid for this, you're not getting a more fun car, period. I paid £6500 for mine, but the BBR kit is worth £2100 alone, and it comes with a hard top which I will likely sell for between £500 - £800, and it came shod with 4 brand new Michelin PS4 tyres, so really I think it was great value overall for a RWD sports car with 200 bhp @ 7300 rpm and only 1100 kg!
If you get the chance I really recommend you at least look into fitting an uprated manifold and remap, as it unleashes a lot of character and noise as well as giving another 20 or so BHP and similar torque. Mine has that along with uprated cams and panel filter, and it's a surprisingly quick little car for what it is, the midrange in particular feels very muscular, and it's possible to get a real move on without revving it much past 5K now, although it will happily continue revving up to nearly 7500! On your car with the later engine, it will rev even higher, probably to almost 8000!
As I was saying, I have been thinking about trading for a Jag XKR, 370Z or something like that, but then I remember it won't handle anywhere near as well, and it will likely cost massively more to run, and as someone who gets anxiety about big bills with cars, I'm not sure I'd enjoy that constant feeling of doom and the emptying of the wallet that comes with it. So I am thinking of keeping it after all, and maybe adding a good cat-back exhaust to make it a bit more shouty and hopefully give it a more special feeling (it worked on my old MR2 Roadster!), and then perhaps also some Meister coilovers (I'm on Eibachs at the moment) then get the alignment re-done. Add a Pioneer stereo like yours and that will really be all it needs to be a wonderful little car for not much money. Although the temptation is always there to go whole hog and go for some ITB's but that's a lot of ££££ for a little more power and a more noise (the main motivation!).
Super video though, and very insightful given my current thoughts on the subject :)

Nice video. definitely feel the same about the boot, mine is still working fine but I tend to close the car before going to get whatever is there and always check twice if my keys are in the pocket. Dunno if it helps but I've found out that the boot button won't work if it is close with the key remote control, even if the car is topdown and you open it manually. I suppose it kinda makes sense that if you leave the car open outside it wont allow access to opening the boot.
One thing I can't relate on if on fuel costs, mine likes to average around 10.5-11.5 l/100km the best ever I got was on a motorway around 8.0l/100km, I do like to push it a bit but it's not like I'm pulling to 5k rpm all the time, I usually go up to 2-3k then shift up. But then again living in the city and it being know as the city of the 7 hills probably doesn't help, still I feel it's excessive tbh.
A pet peeve I have with mine is that 100km/h+ the noise from the windows is quite annoying I wonder if replacing the rubber seals could fix it or it is just what is suppose to happen from a convertible.
Mine is a 2014 2.0 sports PRHT, mostly stock though I do have the Il Sportive exhaust that sounds glorious, if a bit loud when in confined spaces like underground parking lots.

Also over time I’ve added a new Pioneer head unit, wheels refurbished, four new tyres and full under seal to keep rust at bay. Finally I took it to Roddisons last week and had Meister CRD suspension installed. Collected it last Thursday and WOW……. it’s amazing. Fully aligned and corner weighted, feels very direct and analogue. The NC is such a good car, I hope to keep mine for a long time. I’ve always liked the curious cars…. maybe due to finances. I ran a Alfa 164 24V QV for a few years, then an Avantime, yes one of them. Had that car for 3 years, brilliantly stupid. If I had a garage I’d have one again. A Merc SL 129, probably my favourite, as for a few K you’re a spot the ball winner. A couple of E30 325i Sports, various other Alfas, Talbot Sunbeam and XR2s. I wish I could afford a decent 911, but maybe I could run a 968 as a a daily? The NC takes some beating but I regularly drive from Sheffield to the Lakes or Whitby and although I like it, my wife Sally finds it a bit agricultural. Just so anyone reading knows, drive the road from Pickering to Whitby, that runs via Stape and Goathland. So not the Fylingdales road, adjacent almost. I think it’s one of the best bits of road in Yorkshire. In fact it’s better than any of the three Adam and the Ants albums.

      Hi Graham,
I'm sorry it's taken a while to reply - I do these in monthly batches and I've been flat out with work lately. Let me try and quickly tick off the bits you mentioned :)
Wheel alignment - absolutely go for it, it makes a world of difference! The MX-5 Restorer in Pevensey was my favourite one.
Rust treatment - lots of places offer this but stupidly I never got round to it. The new owner has done it immediately :D You'll need about £550+ for it but worth doing to keep it safe long term, someone recently commented that they had to scrap theirs as it was literally unsafe for the road and beyond repair!
Track day - I really recommend Snetterton (Norfolk) or Bedford Autodrome (Bedford haha) to start. They're really fun tracks but almost perfectly flat if not flat, with very wide track and generous run offs. There's also always a long straight only a few turns away so faster cars don't bully, they just wait for the straight to pass. And it's essential to get the £20-30/free tuition. My friend who's done 20+ track days still benefits from a professional giving pointers on particular tracks :)
Seat lowering - glad you've had success with it, it makes such a difference doesn't it!
Mods - I've sadly sold it now but I do intend to buy another one day with BBR bits already done :D!

A great video, I am in 100% agreement with all of it. I have owned only one, an NC1 GT. Purchased in the summer of 2016. Put way to much money into it in mods. Everything but forced induction. It’s small, it’s cramped, it’s no dragster. It does have a 2.5 but I still want more power. BUT, what keeps me loving the car is that whole horse and rider thing. My brother wanted me to purchase this M Roadster with a straight 6. Told me what a collectible classic it was…. As president of our local Miata club I felt guilty but I drove that little M roadster. What a let down, what a disappointment. talk about Horse and rider as one. That was more like rider and IKEA shopping cart as one. Absolutely no comparison. Even with all of the negatives, there is nothing like a Miata. .Thanks for the video,

I have had my ND2 since late 2019 and know I will never part with it. Whilst there are considerably faster cars out there my car is plenty fast enough, and I think the sensation of speed is more enjoyable than more speed/performance that you feel a bit detached from. And that’s the point, you feel so involved in everything the car is doing. Driving round a roundabout at 25mph feels brilliant!
Obviously it isn’t that practical. If you want practicality and buy an MX5 you have bought the wrong car. But the boot is usable for shorter trips, weekends away and for cramming in shopping. When I go to the supermarket I tend to go via an unnecessarily long and indirect route :-) And over the 4 years I’ve owned the car I have never attempted to drive it economically at all. The total opposite in fact, and yet it has averaged 41mpg. Overall it is just amazing fun.

      Hey Tom,
Thanks for your really kind words!
It's funny you ask that because for a long time of owning my MX-5 I'd said how the car is more capable, more visceral, better connected, faster etc, greater sensations from all of the inputs than the Swift Sport.....
BUT the Swift Sport is genuinely more fun! It seems odd but that chassis is just so, so playful and it has this personality that's hard to describe. The liftoff oversteer is such a huge part of that and the general confidence to really play beyond the limits and pull it back.
The MX-5 on track however is totally different gravy to the (still really fun) Swift Sport on track. It's where I had my favourite ever driving experience and that extra power, all those dialled in inputs and beautiful weight balance with RWD had me cackling as I drifted it about. I felt like Chris Harris and it was just amazing hahaha.
On the road they're so different though. The Swift has better memories of pure excitement and laughter on the road, I laughed more often. But the MX-5 has so many memories of driving in the sun, mad roof down sprints and generally just feeling really satisfying to drive even at low speeds.
I hope that helps, it's very much horses for courses but overall if I had to live with just one forever it would be the Swift Sport funnily enough! If I had to track one forever it'd easily be the MX-5!

      Hi Amy!
      This is very exciting indeed!
The main benefits of this 2009-2015 (update of the 2005 model) over a brand new one are:
      - More interior space
      - Glovebox
      - 4 proper cup holders
      - Bigger trunk
      - Better steering
      - Hardtop roof fully retracts and gives you the full cabrio/convertible experience as well as a proper roof
      - Better value for money!
The main benefits of the brand new Miata are:
      - Warranty!
      - No rust issues
      - Much more modern interior and features
      - Better fuel economy
      - Faster with the most powerful standard engine in a Miata now
      - I suspect it's safer in a crash but not certain
      - Smaller overall footprint (Though do be sure you fit comfortably, it has less space inside than the Mk3)
      - I personally think it's better looking
I can easily see why someone would buy either and be sure they have the right car, so whichever of those pros work best for you, have fun :)

I’ve had my 2012 Kuro from new. It now has 43,100 miles on it of which about 11,000 have been done in Europe. I’m taking it to the Algarve again in June but I’ll admit I have some reliability anxiety since having issues with the BBR200 upgrade (long story I can’t be bothered with anymore). Small upgrades include stubby aerial, Pioneer head unit, Perspex windbreaker and up until the BBR, a Larini backbox that I had to get rid of due to intolerable drone noise. It killed me to take it off as it sounded unbelievable but I just couldn’t stand the increased volume level the new manifold created. Only thing I need to keep an eye on is the oil, which it does use, especially when driven like intended, but that's a characteristic of these early NC engines anyway.
I'm not surprised that your exhaust became too loud though with the Super 200 upgrade, as that manifold adds a lot of noise just on its own! I am thinking of an upgraded exhaust for mine, but ultimately, it's not required, if I do, I'll be careful not to get one too loud!

      Hey Seamus,
Wow! I can't believe anyone joined the dots!!! I'm impressed and sad that you didn't get the opportunity to come down and say hello!
Excuse the copy-and-paste nature of this next paragraph - After shooting this video I have sadly JUST days ago sold the MX-5 but thought I'd do another video on that or just make a short mention of it in the next video - it was actually simply to free up some finances for more expensive video gear and to aid the freelance part of my journey now. So kinda didn't feel worth adding into this video as a post-shoot segment given it wasn't about the car itself. I'm thrilled though that it's gone to a subscriber who knows the full truth about the little knock etc and is made up with the car. Great to see their day 1 excitement and he's already rust-protecting it as he said he wants to keep it for life!
I can absolutely see myself buying another NC in the future though, I'll build up some savings and probably wait on a BBR 185 or BBR200 spec one so it feels like coming back to a totally different car!
As for the Swift Sport, I had a similar comment below so my response to that was:
Ya know what, I genuinely had many more laugh-out-loud moments in my Swift Sport! The MX-5 has SO much grip that you have to be a bit nutty to provoke anything but unrivalled grip.

I rented an NC2 automatic last year after my EF Civic was stolen and my Dakota needed suspension work. To quote Jeremy Clarkson, I left that drive a broken and distracted man. I had to have one. I ended up buying a red manual car, and it's been great. I thought the shifter knob felt cheap, and after it literally fell apart in my hand, I bought a solid steel weighted knob and now the shifter is God-tier. The back end felt really sketchy, but the rear tires were pretty worn and now with new tires all around it feels very solid even on trailing throttle.
However, I've always wanted a 2000s Porsche, and seeing that Boxsters are around the same value as NC2s, I started to consider trading the Miata. I went and test drove a couple Porsches, and now I'm really conflicted. In person, a 1st-gen Cayman looked and sounded more beautiful than I imagined through pictures. But to drive, especially the shifter, it didn't live up at all to the Porsche reputation of solid yet delicate tactile controls. The Porsche honestly felt, more than any other car I've driven, like an extra solid 1994 Saturn coupe, except with a wonderful engine. Now that's a better comparison than you'd think, but it wasn't so revelatory as to leave me broken and distracted. I still want one of those really badly, and I know the mediocre shifter can be upgraded, but the rational part of me is saying that the Miata is The Way. With the BBR 225 kit I think the engine would gain a lot of character, and I wouldn't be worried about the borderline-criminal design faults of the Porsche M96/M97 engine. Objectively, when I already have the Miata, the Porsche is best enjoyed on TH-cam. But... My God was it pretty.

If you got a Boxster, I'd understand why: the larger cabin, better boot and even having a front boot too - they make it more usable, and hey the engines are undoubtedly more characterful. But having driven a 987 S Boxster, they just lack the driving personality of the MX-5. The car is practically glued to the road and corners so flat at any speed, I just found it was too on tracks for me. I love the MX-5 feeling like you're really driving it! And absolutely, the BBR packages regardless of cost really seem to add stacks of drama and excitement! The 200 is such good value for how much it adds!

After shooting this video I have sadly JUST days ago sold the MX-5 but thought I'd do another video on that or just make a short mention of it in the next video - it was actually simply to free up some finances for more expensive video gear and to aid the freelance part of my journey now. So kinda didn't feel worth adding into this video as a post-shoot segment given it wasn't about the car itself. I'm thrilled that it's gone to a subscriber who knows the full truth about the little knock, etc., and is made up with the car.

Hi there, I had a 1.8 2008 mk3 it had done 34ooo miles when I bought it ,it was my very first sports car it was fantastic I even took it a road trip to Northern France for 2 weeks and yes luggage thing could have been a problem but we managed to get two suitcases in the boot. The mistake I made what's the tradeing it up for a Mark 4RF model but that's a another story.cheers Phil form Newark

Ohhhh sorry to hear the Mk4 was a mistake! How come? They look awesome from everything I know, though I wouldn't have fitted in one - having driven the Mk4 roadster anyway!

Far as I'm concerned I think the build quality isn't up to scratch and the lack of storage i.e. the silly Cup holders and no real glove box. And the electric roof is definitely sexy but not a real convertible.

Interesting and objective review. I've been considering getting an MX5 as a fun car for a while now. Had been considering an NB (Decent N/A's are now silly money!) but finding an NB that isn't riddled with rust seems like a massive challenge. So turned my attentions to the NC which seems to be as much fun as its predecessors but in a more modern package although think rust can still be an issue! Couple of questions - assume the 2.0 engine is the one to go for? there seem to be more 1.8's about but the performance figures look a bit lame! I see your's had the folding metal roof, any problems with this and does the extra weight affect the handling at all?

I love the PRHT for it's looks, it feels more weather proof and secure in my mind. Yes it's a bit more heavy, but nothing an average driver would really notice for road driving. It's a great car that will make you laugh out loud at times with just how fun it is.

Thanks very much Steve, much appreciated!
2.0 is definitely the one to go for! For the folding roof they're actually superbly reliable, don't age like a softtop and although there's 40kg extra weight the Fifth Gear Slalom test found no discernible differences or time penalty so I wouldn't worry! It's beautifully setup and I wouldn't have wanted the soft top after living with the hard top :)

@@petrolpoodle6617 Thanks for your reply. Fair point about the softtops, plenty of hard tops about at similar prices so worth considering I think.

The prht panels are actually polycarbonate I believe and not that heavy, the only issue is the commonly occurring paint blisters caused by the hygroscopic nature of the plastic itself. Unsightly it may be but otherwise harmless. It is however difficult to justify shelling out for repainting with no certainty that it will not recur.

With regards to the lack of support in the seats, I'm using an ObusForme backrest on the seat of my '06 MX-5 and it's making things much more comfortable...70 now and highly doubtful I'll ever sell this car.

Excellent review, really informative. Regarding the crampedness, how tall are you? I'm looking at a 25th Anniversary but at 6'3", I'm thinking it could be too painful.

      Thank you so much pal!
I'm 6ft exactly but I JUST before the video went live sold the MX-5 to a 6 ft 3'er and he just got in with my lowered seats. He's planning on perhaps changing to aftermarket seats for track use anyway but I'd try one out for yourself and see how you get on :) Just know you can drop the seat by 2.5 inches if needs be but it brings you closer to the wheel by an inch or so!

@@petrolpoodle6617 Awesome intel, thanks for coming back to me. My GF is 5'6" so with lowered seats she may struggle to see as she's mostly leg rather than torso. Bugger, looks like a Z4 might be the weapon of choice after all. Really appreciate your feedback though and I'm now going to subscribe and watch everything else - great channel.

I have no idea sadly, it's stock though. My version is the Sport Tech if that helps

Odd that it doesn’t have a button on the boot. My US spec 2006 does. It’s an electronic release right underneath the lid.

Same boot key problem on my Streetka. Now just don't engage the latch. It does stay down.
