I feel that this piece is a great example of refurbishing back to what the piece was when it was new. The proportions of the buffet seem to be the correct size for any dining room and the decor can be set up to enhance this piece easily. Thank you for not getting rid of the carvings. They are beautiful and work well with the piece. Thanks again for another great video and a little lesson on refinishing furniture.

@@FurnitureWarriors I watch a lot of Chatteau Reno shows and when they go second hand shopping they call stuff that looks like that art deco but honestly the stylized carved flowers on your chest remind me of art nouveau as well. I can't imagine how much it cost to ship to America , even way back when 😊❣️

Yes, I'm thinking it's probably from that era too. It's a very old and very interesting design. Whoever owned it took very good care of it for it to be in such good shape. You did a lovely renovation and saved something special. 👍😊
