Learn when to walk away, gentlemen. Story for y'all: I had a thing going on with my coworker for a little while. We never got to date because she was going through some things. I respected it, but she still kept showing signs of interest. After a while, I found out she was talking to someone else. I wanted to remain as friends. I ended up getting Covid for 2 weeks, and not once she texted me to get better. However, prior to Covid, I met a nice girl (who's a lawyer), that takes time out of her day to text me back. She even wished me to get better from Covid. Said coworker has made no effort to ask how I've been since Covid, nor asks me anything about my personal life anymore. The lawyer at least makes an effort with me. You never know when things get better after avoiding a possible toxic relationship.
That didnt sound like a relationship. She was just testing the porridge. And for her tastes you werent right. Did anyother coworker texted you when you were sick? If they did thats a relationship sorta.

If a woman isn’t willing to put 50% effort into a relationship, and expect the man to put in 70-80% or more, TOXIC! She’s a taker and should be avoided. A lady I’ve been dating never texts me during the day to see how I’m doing. When I reach out during the day, and ask how her day is going, she will respond but almost never will she ask about my day back! She only responds after I reach out. Exhausting. Time to move on!

I just found your videos this last week! So helpful!! This TOXIC video hits straight home. My estranged wife, who is living with her boyfriend, checks every one of these five toxic signs. The longer we are separate, the more I realize how toxic that relationship was. So toxic is pulled me down enough to become toxic myself. Thankfully, I know who God created me to be and have repented and praise God He has renewed my spirit. The more I learn from these videos, the more I do not miss that relationship. I'm a Christian Preacher with an singles ministry and I got caught into a toxic relationship with a woman. It almost ruined my ministry and my name. I thought something was wrong with me, but i now know it wasn't me.
Had a falling out with a female friend (and potential GF) this week. She was showing a (non-educational) video aloud to a friend in an otherwise quiet environment while I was studying, and I said a small petty thing about the video which I immediately regretted. When I tried to give her a genuine apology and explain myself over text, she fired back at me with a backhanded, indignant "apology acceptance" that contained around 3 layers of doublespeak. It was bad--like really, really bad. I think she got offended at me trying to explain myself, as e-communication tends to get misinterpreted. I texted her back, explaining that I was disappointed in her and that we needed to sort things out in person. However, I haven't had a chance to actually talk to her since this happened. I've known her for over 1&1/2 years and don't want to end the best friendship I've made in college over such petty nonsense. She has never said things like that before, and is usually pretty sweet and looks after herself well. However what she said was so bad that it's really made me lose some respect for her. I pray I we sort this out like proper adults. Melannie, I don't know what you make of all this, but if this is the way she handles disagreements, I don't want her in my life.

Sometimes we inadvertently pick the toxic people.. Something inside of us is making us pick the person who's toxic.. One has to take personal inventory and get to the bottom of why you are(and I'm) constantly in toxic relationships.
TOXIC! I enjoy pets, it's just so many women's OLD profiles talk about how they love their dogs -- something all single woman seem to have -- that if the online connection ever turns into an actual meeting, they have to have their dog with them. "My dog will be upset if I go out without her," kind of thing. Or, my last one, the dog is 13 years old and never housebroken. I'm a click away from ending that relationship.

I hated breaking her heart, but as apparent in my comment, above, my heart had already started to let go and I could not emotionally turn on a dime and just say, "Oh, okay." She also asked me to go and get the female pills from chemist, when the female told me only a female have to pick it up the. I've texted her back about it and she started going outburst on me for it. I've had several toxic relatives, sadly, and my two most recent girlfriends have been the very definition of toxic. Quite frankly, I know who's right for me, but we live two time zones apart.

Had a falling out with a female friend (and potential GF) this week. She was showing a (non-educational) video aloud to a friend in an otherwise quiet environment while I was studying, and I said a small petty thing about the video which I immediately regretted. When I tried to give her a genuine apology and explain myself over text, she fired back at me with a backhanded, indignant "apology acceptance" that contained around 3 layers of doublespeak. It was bad--like really, really bad. I think she got offended at me trying to explain myself, as e-communication tends to get misinterpreted. I texted her back, explaining that I was disappointed in her and that we needed to sort things out in person. However, I haven't had a chance to actually talk to her since this happened. I've known her for over 1&1/2 years and don't want to end the best friendship I've made in college over such petty nonsense. She has never said things like that before, and is usually pretty sweet and looks after herself well. However what she said was so bad that it's really made me lose some respect for her. I pray I we sort this out like proper adults. Melannie, I don't know what you make of all this, but if this is the way she handles disagreements, I don't want her in my life.

TOXIC! I enjoy pets, it's just so many women's OLD profiles talk about how they love their dogs -- something all single woman seem to have -- that if the online connection ever turns into an actual meeting, they have to have their dog with them. "My dog will be upset if I go out without her," kind of thing. Or, my last one, the dog is 13 years old and never housebroken. I'm a click away from ending that relationship.

I hated breaking her heart, but as apparent in my comment, above, my heart had already started to let go and I could not emotionally turn on a dime and just say, "Oh, okay." A shame, because I really want a life-partner.

Maybe she's afraid of being honest because she's had disappointments in past relationships, and i have had disappointments too. I guess i've hit a wall and am confused as to whether confront her and ask for honesty or to stop and walk away.

@@CoachMelannie my ex-girlfriend demands too much things like getting her things if I don't have enough money or time to get them. She also asked me to go and get the female pills from chemist, when the female told me only a female have to pick it up the. I've texted her back about it and she started going outburst on me for it. Everytime I ask her important questions to the solutions, she question over my question. She threats me by texting me "don't see me again and I don't want to see you again" if I see other person.

Men lose the chess game of life by holding on to there queen when In reality there where many other moves to make to win in life if you would just except the fact that you just might have to let her go. The queen both in life and in chess is not the end all be all for men. You don't need the queen to be successful. Let her go. Make the next best move for yourself. Who knows.
