I just got a pack of Prawn Starz and yesterday I caught a little trout on one with a popping cork. But it was blowing too hard to be fun so I only fished for 10 minutes or so. I have a feeling those are going to be a favorite bait under a cork. They'll probably be good without the cork around the marsh grass. I fish in the Chesapeake Bay and the river mouths around Hampton VA. The Prawn Starz are cool for this time of year because we don't have a lot of tail biters but in the summer I'd go nuts from all the little bites. I'm excited to try them more now.
This isn’t lord of the rings. One lure doesn’t rule them all. However, this is a quality made lure that fills its niche better than any other shrimp lure.
Awesome video brother!! Great work..for some reason I dont get alerts when you post, but oh well..I always seek you out for a fun and entertaining video..Keep up the great work and lets pray for the hurricane victims!
I was just talking to Christian @maketimeforfishing about this. Even with bell notifications on people aren’t getting notifications. It’s like sporting channels are being nerfed on TH-cam. Thanks for support man!
I really appreciate it! Anyone can make a video showing fish they caught. I try to add value with instruction. I caught about 12 speckled sea trout and another 5 or so redfish on this trip that I cut out of the video because it was repetitive and didn’t add much value. I definitely recommend adding shrimp pro cure to this lure. I feel like I get more action when I add it. Works just fine without if your missing it still send it!
Hey man, just came across your videos looking for inshore saltwater kayak fishing content. Love your videos! You have a subscriber! I’m also in Charleston (Summerville, close enough!) and have been wanting to take my kayak inshore fishing (feel free lure 11.5 non-pedal drive) but makes me kinda nervous to think about. Do you have any advice or tips? Not gonna ask for any spots but some possible launch sites? Thanks in advance!
Hey man thanks for the sub! I’m glad the videos are helpful. Nothing wrong with a paddle kayak man. I used one inshore here for about three years before upgrading to pedals. One of the best anglers I know is a diehard paddle guy and he dominates most of the tournaments he enters. I would recommend smaller waters and timing the tide to take you to and from where you plan to fish. Also if you have Facebook, join Lowcountry Kayak Anglers group. It’s an awesome club with lots of meetups, tournaments, and info. This video I made has some local inshore launches good for kayaks. @@CurrentAngling of course! Great content! I am part of the LKA but never really participate but definitely want to start! I’ll check out the video! Thanks for the advice!
@@CurrentAngling I thought there was something odd with your voice the first watch, but nothing too bad. I assume the raw audio files are pretty rough with the wind down here recently
Yeah pretty rough and I relied on a premier pro automated audio feature too much so was too distorted. I had three sources of audio but still wasn’t great. I’m always learning and trying to improve.
@@CurrentAngling Aren't we all, thats why I'm subscribed 🤣. If I could trade some design/editing skills to consistently get reds, I would. I haven't used used premieres new ai speech enhancements yet but there's definitely spots where you can tell there's still two audio tracks that aren't quite synchd up like 9:05. Just jumping around, it all sounds pretty good though.
Great content Cory! I’m an avid kayak bass fisherman from Maryland who just relocated to MP. Saltwater fishing here is off the charts. Caught my first redfish (23 inches) and I’m sold! Such a fierce fighting species!
Great tutorials Corey! Lots of great info for people to learn from in this one. We've got to get out there again soon, the bite is heating up!
Thanks dude! I keep looking at that offshore forecast!

Just went fishing today and I can say I need that lure right there!

man I'm still waiting on my invite/guided tour lol!!
These videos are great and super informative for fishing Charleston. Do you highly recommend using scent on those lures or is it an optional thing?

Something wrong with the first upload haha?
