19 reds and my first black drum this morning! All of the reds (except 3) were 16+in. -- 4 were 25in Live shrimp and blue crab - thanks again for the tips!
Omg your at 14k subs great job I remember when I was 42 subscriber I’m going to folly on August 18 and for Christmas I got a kayak so I’m bringing that to folly
Awesome video! New sub. Just started fishing salt around C-town so I really appreciate the videos. Keep ‘‘em coming. Great editing and content. Let me know if you ever need someone to fish with, I am a decent freshwater kayak fisherman also.
Enjoy your videos, I will be coming to Folly Beach mid December, can I catch redfish and trout in Folly River that time of year. If so what will be the best bait?
Hey man! You definitely can catch both that time of year. The trout can be found up in the creeks in deep bends, oyster beds, and current rips. The reds will be schooled up in shallows or in the back of creeks. Best bet would be mud minnows on Carolina rig or drifted under a cork. However, if it’s really cold and still don’t pop the cork just drift it. If you use artificial lures, try Zman slim swim on a 1/8 oz eye strike trout eye jig head and some pro cure scent for good measure. Work super slow. Good luck and lmk how you do!
Hey brother , very inspiring stuff ! Just moved the the chucktown area after living most my life in the mountains , been fly fishing for trout all for 15 years ! Bought myself a old town pdl , if you ever looking for a partner or someone to show the ways , I’m eager to learn the ways of salt. Tight lines

Yeah I know. I didn’t notice until I was editing. Funny 😆 made a big thunk!

Will do! Thanks for watching and for the sub 👍
what size cast net do you recommend for the kayak? now i really see why they call sheeps head "convicts", ha
Probably a 5’ net. Yep, not only are they black and white striped but the also are notorious bait thieves ;)
