Oh snaps!! Two of my SC personal fav fisherman doing a collab. Legitness. The new edits are sweet. Especially the time and tide. Water temp addition would be great too.
yeah man, I appreciate that! I meant to throw the temp in but forgot. Maybe next time. On some videos I’ve also added pressure, moon phase, and air temp. It does get cumbersome in post edit though. Appreciate the watch and comment!
Thanks! I think those little details help paint a picture of the conditions. It’s difficult to tell direction and point in the cycle just from looking at the bank in the video.
Thanks! They sure can be fickle in cold water. While reviewing the video i noticed most of my bites came when i was distracted and not working the bait. So i should have been working it even slower with long pauses. Thanks for watching!
Great information and awesome video! Just put of curiosity, where you fishing the wando today? I might have seen you in your kayak. I was in a flats boat.
Well… it’s a cheap phone holder off Amazon mounted onto the top swivel part of a tripod. Friction fit (tape added) into the hobie sailing mast hole. I then use a rubber phone tether as extra retention. It’s a little abstract but I’ll link them on Amazon below. Also, these links are affiliate so if you’re going to buy things on Amazon use my link! Helps me show my wife that I’m not just wasting my time with all this editing. 😅 amzn.to/3TIRvuS amzn.to/3N87xKZ
Check out this video where I provide some good spots to launch and fish especially in a kayak. th-cam.com/video/uNyJAyCLdps/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5MP6YTl-GskkiMF5
I believe 20# is a great universal weight for both especially around docks. I have links to my leader and mainline in the description of this video. Thanks for watching!
Awesome welcome to the channel! Mnt P pier, Pitt St, Higgins pier all hold fish. However this time of year pier fishing can be tough because you aren’t mobile. Flounder is tough right now too. I would try fiddler crabs along the mnt P piers for sheepshead.
I think it’s a day you can fish go for it; however, I’d pick a smaller creek to fish and stay in and fish the lower tide in the evening. Sitting low in a creek will cut the wind substantially. Also because of the cold you need to work it slow and just about hit them on the head with bait. You can catch them but it’s work. Sheepshead is more consistent this time of year
Junk that I should probably upgrade soon. It’s a no name phone holder screwed into a piece of scrap wood cedar and shoved into the sail mast hole. Might go with the Ram X mount.
It’s too small of a creek to list for fear of being over fished but most small creeks in the area should fish similarly with the info provided in my videos. Thanks for watching!
Yeah, it can be humbling, especially in the winter. Build confidence with live mud minnows and shrimp. Two rods, one rigged Carolina and the other cork.
Great edit man! It was great getting out with you, we'll have to do it again soon! Have a great holiday and see ya in the New Year!
For sure, it was fun! See ya next year my man!
Merry Christmas, Corey! Thanks for letting me go fishing with you this year!
Marry Christmas! Thanks for following along and looking forward to 2024!

Great video. Appreciate you taking the time to edit in the tide levels and directions.

Were we the only two crazy enough to be on the water? Yep probably me! How did you do? They made me work for em today.
@@CurrentAngling Got a few bites, wasnt able to get anything on the hook. Definitely a work day.

Great video, I want to ask what kind of phone mount you had there ? Thanks

Hey Corey, love the vids. It would be awesome to show where you are generally at on a map of Charleston for each vid. Keep it up!

What pound braid and leader do you recommend for sheepshead, red fish and flounder

@@CurrentAngling thank you
I am new to your channel. Do you know where some good places in Charleston would be to fish for sheepshead and flounder from a bank or a bridge?

Hey Corey, what's your opinion on a day like today? Is it too windy to be out on the Wando?

Thanks for the reply. Appreciate taking the time to give me some information. Look forward to the next video.
what mount do you use for your phone

Solid bite and info. You can teach me the artificial game one day
Trade you for your offshore knowledge!
Where are u fishing? Love the vid❤

Love the videos, but my luck is awful when it comes to winter inshore saltwater fishing.

@@CurrentAngling ya thanks for the advice
