It's sad I sing his songs like doctor Jesus and the baptism. I'm not at all saying he deserved it. But God does chastise us when we walk away out of his will and we go out and do the worldly things. I hate he did all that he did. But I feel so bad he lost his voice. I couldnt imagine losing mine.

Satan saw Jesus in Randy and that he was leading people to Christ through his amazing voice. What he didnt realize though is that it wasnt Randy's voice that made him great in God's eyes, it was his faith. Randy, you are an inspiration to us all!!!

Lord, if your up there, and if your listening/reading this, I only ask this, bring this mans voice back, he is amazing as is but his voice has impacted all of us country fans...lord, my grandpa had a terrible terrible stroke that eventually took his life, as you know because he was a pastor and loved you unconditionally day in and day out, I never knew him to well and it was my own selfish doing, my only wish, since more people know Randy than my grand father is that we heal him, and we bring his way of music back...I can't bring grandpa back but we can bring randy and his voice back still, there is a chance of that...grandpa I love ya...Amen

I couldnt have said it any better. I appreciate the expression on his face when he is singing here. You can tell he is struggling a bit, but he is damn determined, and it shows in this video. I dont care if he sounds the same. He is still with us after all.

GOD was not finished with either of us for we are still here.

Wait For God, While He Waits For You
Sometimes God allows a mountain to stand strong in our lives, and we feel He is hiding His face from us, and we become troubled. But what He is actually doing is showing us just how strong He is in helping us deal with that mountain, that He is fully capable of changing our mourning into dancing even when that mountain is still standing strong.
Going down into the pit, a place of great sadness and depression, causes our flesh (the dust) to take over and we find ourselves unable to praise God and declare His truth. This is not a place we want to be.
When God heals our pain and keeps us from that pit our sackcloth is put off and we are girded with gladness and we then praise Him and are not silent about His truth, and we thank Him.
That we can be joyful during our most severe trials is the greatest witness that we belong to God, and there is no greater joy than knowing we belong to Him. I think God waits for us to get this joy. And His judgement of when the time is right to have mercy on us is perfect.
"And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him." ...Isaiah 30:18 KJV

i didnt know travis had a stroke, i was wondering what was wrong, i thought he was overcome with emotion. this has saddened me greatly, one of the best country voices in the world! now im overcome with emotion :( i first got into travis through king of the hill, the episode 'peggys fanfair' his tone blew my mind. i hope he continues through his recovery!
