It often happens when someone loses a loved one and doesn't process the emotions. Simon strikes me as the kind of guy who just pushes it all aside to deal with it later and never deals with it. He did a remarkable job keeping his composure, and hopefully he dealt with it once he got to his hotel.

You might not know but Simon had lost his Mum Prior to the show and therefore this is what made him cry. It brought back memories. U dont understand kind of the hate that everyone was ridiculing Simon because he cried.
