I had not realized how broken Mikaeus' abilities could be. This was an awesome video - definitely looking into more. And what's awesome is even a year later, the card still costs about the same, if not less - a perfect card for all the hyenas out there

Good combo
it is not a two-card combo with Walking balista, because the +1/1 anthem/lord from Mikaeus. You can keep pinging itself, but you need either a sac outlet or more counters to actually ping your opponents.
Hm, what do you mean? Remove last counter and ping opponent, undying triggers in grave and ballista comes back with a single +1/+1 counter, repeat. I'm probably missing something or unaware on a ruling.
@@sampsahult1514 Mikaeus gives "Other non-Human creatures you control +1/+1 [...]".
Livia Prima art is a slam dunk. A lot of her stuff is playmat worthy like Emry and Liliana.
I have our boy Micky here in my OG Teysa deck and he's an absolute savage

I have Mikaeus in my Wilhelt the Rotcleaver deck. He is so busted. Goes infinite with a ham sandwich
Was on the fence about buying him. . But that new art looks amazing. Don't really like the others in that style

What would you consider the power level of this deck to be? New to commander.
Well, it can be very powerful. It depends on the build. I don't like power level as a metric because it's so subjective. You want to be able to win on turn 7-10, and this deck can definitely do that.
