As many people here said, I also have sad/depressed memories about this game. But watching it now, I like the melancholic atmosphere and the colors used. It’s so cozy and nostalgic. I have the same feelings when I watch at the pictures of empty 2000s malls or playgrounds if you know what I mean
What i feel sad is the fact that we always start in summer and end up in winter, and the winter levels gave me this feelings of sadness, but strangely it didn't affect me negatively as i believed.
Seems like a lot of people have fears and dark memories connected to this game, even though it this peaceful. We may call it depressing, but i believe it is the calm ,somber music that gives this sad feeling, also the theme of the levels, that becomes progressively less sunny and happy. I am a kind of expert of being traumatized by games, but this one never had this effect on me,while i always remember the somber feeling.

It was one of the first console games I actually played because I didn't start playing console games at home yet until 2008 when I received an original Xbox for my birthday that year (the first console titles I played at home were 4x4 Evo 2 and Midtown Madness 3 for said sixth-generation video game console), and this game, along with the Nintendo 64 version of "Elmo's Number Journey," were the only actual Nintendo 64 games I played, and I haven't played them in quite a long time. Also, it was one of my favorite arcade classics, along with "18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker," "Daytona USA 2" and "Elmo's Number Journey." I don't have an actual Nintendo 64 at home since I have several Virtual Console versions of some Nintendo 64 titles on my Nintendo Wii nowadays, but since Nintendo sadly will be phasing out support for Nintendo Wii Virtual Console games, I guess I'll have to buy an actual Nintendo 64 at some point in the future. I've had the PC version of this game for many years. I've also had this version of this game (the copy I have was re-released by Take 2 Interactive, which lacks all the voice clips for some reason) for almost five years since I received it as a Christmas gift in 2013, and let me tell you, it was a lot of nostalgic fun to play it again! Thank you very much for making this walkthrough! It brings back memories!
You're welcome, and thanks very much! I sometimes like to share my childhood stories with other people on TH-cam. Recently (today), my dad and I went to a local movie theater to see the all new live-action Winnie the Pooh movie, "Christopher Robin." He and I really enjoyed it, and I'm home now.
Glad you enjoyed it! I'm curious about that movie, so when time comes I think I'll watch it too :) People getting nostalgic and sharing their gaming memories are one of the reasons I started this channel, because most of the games are nostalgic to me also!
I played this as well on the N64 and actually still have it with the original console! It was definitely a favorite of mine! I recently thought of this game and the. Stumbled on this video! 😂🥰😂🥰
I almost bought this game again for n64 then i found out the Nintendo version doesn’t have any voice clips so ill wait to find this PS1 version one day
I wouldn’t be able to play it either if it weren’t for my dad’s rich cousin who gifted me and my sister a PS1 back in the 90’s. My dad would never spend that much on kids’ games.
This game will always be so cute and evoke nostalgic happy feelings. I was thinking of it the other day! I had a lot of fun with my PS1 at gmas in the early 2000s :D I think the music coupled with kind of being alone in the game world made it very melancholic and have a sorrowfull solitude us as children didnt quite have words for yet, it was lonely feeling but serene at the same time
This game scared the shit out of me, Idk why. I was depressed too (wth is wrong with this game) My progress was never saved for some reason, that's why I had to replay this game over and over again. Well, I didn't mind, I really liked the game even if I was scared a bit xD

I don't have an actual Nintendo 64 at home since I have several Virtual Console versions of some Nintendo 64 titles on my Nintendo Wii nowadays, but since Nintendo sadly will be phasing out support for Nintendo Wii Virtual Console games, I guess I'll have to buy an actual Nintendo 64 at some point in the future.
Thank you for sharing your story, it really means a lot to me :)
I'm curious about that movie, so when time comes I think I'll watch it too :)
People getting nostalgic and sharing their gaming memories are one of the reasons I started this channel, because most of the games are nostalgic to me also!
I played this as well on the N64 and actually still have it with the original console! It was definitely a favorite of mine! I recently thought of this game and the. Stumbled on this video! 😂🥰😂🥰
I'm crying from Nostalgia
I almost bought this game again for n64 then i found out the Nintendo version doesn’t have any voice clips so ill wait to find this PS1 version one day
46:12 the sound Tigger makes when you lose health was hilarious to me when I was a kid!
Used to play this game as a kid and this still looks really good to me
Thanks for memories, GameGamer!
If this wasn’t the best game ever idk what was
I remember playing this as a young child
I used to love this game, can't believe I forgot about it.
Me too! I only remembered due to watching Winnie the Pooh series on Disney+ so I looked on eBay and brought it xD
I'm going to die from nostalgia
I really adore level design here
Pretty sure I played this in a McDonalds as a kid because my parents were too poor to afford our own game system.
I wouldn’t be able to play it either if it weren’t for my dad’s rich cousin who gifted me and my sister a PS1 back in the 90’s. My dad would never spend that much on kids’ games.
I played this as a kid.Good times.
This game will always be so cute and evoke nostalgic happy feelings. I was thinking of it the other day! I had a lot of fun with my PS1 at gmas in the early 2000s :D I think the music coupled with kind of being alone in the game world made it very melancholic and have a sorrowfull solitude us as children didnt quite have words for yet, it was lonely feeling but serene at the same time
One of my favourites growing up
it's 1 am why am i like this
3 years later and another person as yourself is here at the same time
@@Zebrahhhwhich country are you from
This game was advertised after the tiger movie.
I used to play this in winter when I was kid
Nostalgia
This game scared the shit out of me, Idk why. I was depressed too (wth is wrong with this game)
My progress was never saved for some reason, that's why I had to replay this game over and over again. Well, I didn't mind, I really liked the game even if I was scared a bit xD
Haha I know the feeling! I was dead scared as a kid by a certain music level in Rayman, and I too didn't know why 😆
@@GameGamer only game that would scare me like that would be donkey Kong 64 when you would face any of the bosses and the door would lock right when you go in
I had to replay from the beginning too,so it became ritualised for me,doing the same actions every time.
I had the PC version and had the same issue of being unable to save and just replaying it from the start every time. Looking back I assume I was too you to figure out how to go to the save section of the menu
@@GameGamer dude the first two rayman games have a freaky vibe all around.
Rayman 3 less so, but that one had the straight up horror lite level with the Knaaren
1:01:40 when I was a kid I stuck on that level
Man somebody stole all my classic games years ago and this one was among my collection 😩the memories
I thought this game was part of a fever dream
Holy shit, this is real?? I thought this was a dream or something crazy.
Played this with my family growing up...im old
It's so old memories, that seems like it was in previous life (((
I remember playing this in a McDonald's while waiting for my nuggets
