Remastering a smelly turd just makes it a more realistic looking smelly turd. This game always sucked and always will. Yet I'm still nostalgic for it anyways.
I love this game as a kid, I had a lot of Disney games as a kid, but make no mistake, they were all licensed cash grab games lol what are you on about?
This unlocked memories I forgot I had 😅 This game was a huge part of my childhood, and I spent so many hours playing this. I haven't played it since about 20 years ago and completely forgot about it, but as soon as I started watching this, every sound was nostalgic and familiar. Thanks for helping me relive my childhood memories. :)
Whenever I think of the game, I always get taken back to a memory of my parent's picking up my siblings from the airport late at night. I told my brother that we got a Bugs Life game while they were away. He looked suprised, and told me that he wished that we got a new PS1 game when he throwed a coin in the fountain when they were abroad. I even remember Ibiza by Vengaboys playing on the radio on the way back from the airport, so it is a proper 90's memory that I always love to think back on 😂.
For some reason, the 2nd level was very intimidating for me when I was young. The sense of being trapped in a cave, the foreboding music, and it's just a complete 180 from the cheery and bright 1st level, not to mention the backtracking to end 50 bugs and the grain gates. From then, I just bum rushed my way to the end of the level. Seeing you playthrough it gave me a sense of closure, and a desire to olay it again! Thanks for this, man! I'll benhaving this play in the background in secret at work 😁
This is exactly what brings me to this video! This was my favourite childhood game, but it gave me such a sense of trepidation that I have come here for closure too 😂
This was the 1st game that i got as a kid. It was bundled with the console and i remember spending my weekends playing this game. This is pure nostalgia! Thank you very much for uploading this.
The music in the first level is awesome. It's the kind of thing i could just listen to on a sunday while doing the laundry or something wholesome like that.
The soundtrack to the first level is so soothing to me because this was my first video game. It was the first one I ever beat on my own that my brother didn't. So much nostalgia. Thank you for sharing this!
Man I played this once when I was like 10 and I don't know why it made such an impression on my brain. I don't have that many childhood memories but remembering turning this game on and looking at that old tv and feeling the old remote is as if I am there. I vividly remember the whole experience of what I was thinking about while playing this and how I felt and what the air felt like and what the ambient noise in the house sounded like and how my parents' bedroom smelled. Actually think I was younger because I'm pretty sure I didn't know how to read yet because they also rented Legend of Legaia and I was guessing my way through the fights. How young you gotta be to not be able to interpret arrow signs? Crazy vivid though. Like I can perceive my young brain's whole concept of the world at this snapshot in time. I remember seeing the Disney Interactive logo was novel for me because I didn't play Disney games and it created a particular feeling. Now why don't I remember other things haha?
I Never got past fighting Molt if I recall correctly. Nostalgia aside it feels nice getting to see all the remaining levels I never made it to back when I was a kid.
My nephew and neices play Toy Story 2, Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog… I bought them for PS4. But we also have old PS2 in working condition so they also played The Simpsons Hit & Run and Ice Age: The Meltdown.
Eh, I was always jealous of people born in the 80s because they grew up with the NES/SNES and then were in high school/college during the PS1/PS2 era. I was born in ‘91, and was too young for the Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, GTA era. Those consoles had kids games, but they really were made for teens and young adults imo.
To think that we enjoyed these graphics as kids. Video games nowadays look so real and are incredible. But this era will always be my childhood…memories.
To be honest I’m actually marveling at good they are relative to other PS1; expecting this to look like shit, but nope it’s really good actually graphically….
I never was able to complete this game because I got stuck on "Ant Hill part 2" After watching this, I realized I was not smart enough as a 9 year old to throw a seed into the wind plant thing. And I stopped playing before TH-cam was invented, I just couldn't figure it out on my own! I never even knew there were other levels after this. It's honestly haunted me to this day, this video has given me closure! 😂😂
One of my proudest childhood gaming moments was FINALLY getting past the dandelion level after at least a year... only to get stuck again for the longest time on Clover Forest.
I know this is the movies plot but look at what Flik is capable of he took down so many grasshoppers single handedly So did he really need warrior bugs? They just need Flik if hes capable of doing crazy stuff like that
I'm really enjoying this game! The story is getting really interesting. The gameplay is so much fun. I'm trying to beat this level right now. Thanks for uploading this video! This game looks so cool! The music is really catchy. The levels are challenging but rewarding. The protagonist is so brave. I'm curious to know what's going on with the plot. T

There was a shoe store in my local mall back in the early early 2000s that has a ps1 and 2 controllers for kids to play and try out and man I used to go play this every time I went to the mall!
If you like growing plants and planting them, you will love this game! Theirs also collectables! They tally up to the final score at the end of the level! To get full 100%, you need to find and get: Number of Grains All Flik Letters Number of Kills with the Golden Berry powerup. How the planting works: If you see a seed on the ground, you can change its color to the type of plant you want to use. Each plant has its own uses. For example: one plant lets you use super jump. Jump on it to activate it. You start with one type: a mushroom plant, jump on it to bounce you up. To get more types, find tokens with a colored circle on it. You will see what types you have on the bottom right of screen. Collecting more tokens of the same color, upgrades the type of that color. You also upgrade the berries you throw to deal more damage or whatever. Flik Health is Displayed on the Leaf, If the leaf has any holes on it, he took damage. If the leaf took too many holes, he has 1 more HP before he loses a life. Losing a life will put you at a checkpoint. No worries, your progress is saved regardless!

They need to remaster this already , UNDERRATED game right here. This is back when licensed games weren't all cash grabs.
Its when PS1 dont have a internet port :D no microtransactions possible :) only 700 mb on a disc to sell :)
I would say that they should add this on PlayStation Plus.
