I dramatically reduced a jerky throttle on my Vulcan s by changing the front sprocket from 15 to 16 tooth. This reduced the jerky throttle reduced the engine revs by about 500 rpm for a given road speed and improved the riding experience the bike now rides as it should have from the factory.

This is great. I have been a bit frustrated by the strong engine braking while downshifting. If you don't time the rev-matching perfectly it jerks the bike. I think I'll get one of these devices.

Looks like a great improvement and I will get one for mine. I noticed on the website it has different boosters for different year models. I noticed your bike has a gear indicator whereas mine hasn't....mine is a 2017 supposedly but hasn't got it. Should I check with my local dealer before ordering to determine the year of my bike just in case.

Booster plug is for tuning your motorcycle fuel injection, similar to the power commander. So it actually smoothens out the engine braking and jerkiness when you take the hand off the throttle. So instead of sudden stop it eases out the engine braking making the ride very pleasant. Check out this website for more info - www.boosterplug.com/shop/frontpage.html

I just noticed you had a sissy bar and rack combination on your bike. What brand did you choose? I recently ordered a Hepco and Becker sissy bar with rack. It was the only one I found that had bars on the side for the passenger to hold onto. Expensive, but I hope it is well made.

I bought it via Amazon , it was a cheaper version compared to Kawasaki's OEM price. Here is the link amzn.to/3fX7PBy

I dunno, feels a bit like snake oil to me. I installed mine today, this video was a great help also. Took me about 20 minutes total. Then went on a 30-minute ride and I have to say didn't notice any difference. I'll try again tomorrow with some slower speeds in traffic but so far I am skeptical. I have a 2019 Vulcan S all stock. I get the jerky low speed throttle, hard deceleration, and bogging down under 3000 rpm.

Hmm.. that's strange. For me the difference was noticeable on the very first ride.

TheSgbarter Since it only took you 20 minutes I wonder if you even installed a booster plug LOL. There's a lot more to it than just 20 minutes of work.

@@jayryan7473 Maybe you're thinking of something different. It said Booster plug on the box, and the install was exactly like in this video. One of these days I should remove it just to see if I notice any difference now.
