Love the sound of CS Racing Exhaust! Complete install video here, let me know if you have any specific question and I can answer in the comment section here.
@@wiggenvan It's definitely a good loud sound but nothing annoying. It's good enough for cars and other vehicles to hear when the motorcycle is close by and not loud to annoy your neighbors. it's a right balanced sound.
Exactly, I was looking for two brothers exhaust and it was too expensive for me, then I saw the CS racing sound and I knew I wanted it. Glad I got it and happy with the purchase, install and experience so far
I ordered the CS Racing exhaust for my 2018 Vulcan S about two weeks ago. I should receive it in early October. I researched all aftermarket exhaust systems available for the Vulcan S. I narrowed it down to two systems. I bought the CS Racing exhaust because it looks way better than the other.
I've had my bike for about a year, when I put the passenger pegs on when I first got it, I never put the bolts back in the plastic trim piece and just let the grommets hold it on. Much more convenient whenever it needs to come back of
What was the db level on this exhaust? Had a two brothers set up with db killer And that thing would get up to 120db on the highway. Way to loud for my liking.
Does the CS Racing Exhaust interfere with the Pillion foot peg at all? Like risk damage to footwear with the angle? Looks close but can’t tell. Thanks.
Have you noticed any exhaust leaks? I replaced mine with the delkevic exhaust and had the same issue with the old gaskets not coming out and being smashed so I put new ones on top of them.
Installing this exhaust on my bike this week. Thanks for the step by step video! Did you find a major difference in sound putting the DB killer vs leaving it out?
A couple of things really. 1/ How would you remove the rear suspension as you do not have a main stand. 2/ That dirt is coming from the front wheel, you could prevent that by using a front fender deflector at the bottom of the front mudguard, they are easy to make if you can't find one on the market. I am so tempted to buy one of these, but as with all bikes it will at some point need front and rear suspension work at least once every two years or so ie grease up the joins or fork seals much later on, the problem is you would need a special lift to get that done on such a bike and I simply don't have the space for this so I'm kinda annoyed that it doesn't come with or able to get an after market main stand.
All you need is a trolly jack with a price of wood or jacking rubber. Just go off the sump and your good. You won’t cause damage. Only have to go a few pumps. I’ve only got the rear paddock stand so I used a trolley (car jack) under the sump with a price of wood between the sump and jack. Your able to do this. We always do this technique at work, mechanic shop
@@CTarqsSupreme Yes | know of doing this but the problem with this is, one small move and the bike has a very expensive repair. It's also not the safest means by which to do it, that's why I said using a hoist, a hoist is the safest means to do it, but it's are real pain in the ass, compare that to simply having a main stand, with a main stand you can take the front forks off or the rear suspension no problem without one it's a real pain in the ass, also with a main stand you could even do the job on the side of the road should you need to swap one out not often such things happen but it has happened to me once a long time ago. This idea of making bikes without the provision of a main stand is ridiculous, Honda do it as well with a lot of their bike now, but at least you can get one as an extra add on.
Do you to re-do the mapping since you put the new exhaust? Just curious. I used to have a Yamaha Stryker when changing the exhaust need to remap and add power command.
I had installed Booster Plug which does similar thing as a power commander so I didn’t had to retune after the exhaust install. And I can see that it’s doing it’s job as I am not getting any popping or bursts

Nice video, I've watched it many times hehe. It makes me want to upgrade my exhaust. Do you mind if I ask where in the world you are and how much you paid for your CS exhaust system? Thanks!
Glad you liked the video, I am in North America and I ordered the exhaust via WhatsApp contact that I got from the CS Racing website. Took 15-20 days to get it after I placed the order, it ships from South America and I see them in eBay as well
Yes I checked and I didnt feel any leak. Yet to take it for a ride to see if I feel any power difference, I am assuming if there is leak I would feel that during the ride.
@@TLYRIDER I'm so curious how she rides now, if you feel any improvement. I just picked mine up over the weekend and want to change out the exhaust. This is one on my list.
Great video I like the look and sound of this better then the arrow rebel exhaust. What year model is your Vulcan? I love the matte black paint wish Kawasaki kept this color in current year models instead of going with wacky color combos.
I am considering this exhaust for my Vulcan S, i think it looks and sounds the best of all the after market exhausts. Did you notice a difference in performance?
Get the "tail tidy" it gets rid of all the ugly plastic on the rear fender. My S looks 100% better without all that mess! Ride safe.....btw I put the Two Bros. exhaust on mine.
I was considering the tail tidy, but I hate that it uses a miniature taillight. Would have been nice if I could re-use the factory taillight, or if the replacement was just as big and bright.
Great video !!!! It would have been perfect if it wasn't for the crappy music thou. If anyone reads this, please STOP putting music in your videos. At best, its useless. At worst, like many times, its just so annoying. Keep up the good work. TLY

Does the exhaust pass when going in for an inspection?
Really appreciate you listing tools and sizes used. New exhaust has a sleek look and adds a strong vibrating sound.
That's one of the better replacement exhaust sounds I have heard on the KVS. Less like a racing bike and more like a V-Twin.

Put a screw driver in first to guide the bolt. Nickel high temp anti-seize on the bolts & torx to spec! Good video.
Somehow I missed this video. It answered the question I asked on the riding video
Ok no worries, yes it’s a full exhaust
Except the sound and the weight did you gain any power?
I think this exhaust looks the best for this bike...

Ground clearance is slightly better with this than the standard exhaust.

Is the Booster plug necessary when installing a CS exhaust?
No it’s not necessary, but with or without exhaust replacement, booster plug improves ride quality by smoothening out the throttle response
