Good video, y'all do a great job. like watching your videos , got kin folk up in your area and it kinda brings me back to the days I use to visit your beautiful state. thanks for sharing, watching from Indiana.
That was awesome Andreas you got some amount of corn chopped and haule their. it was so interesting to listen to you as you were hauling. I'm glad you're getting such good weather for the chopping makes the job so much easier. What a great team you have their you're all pretty amazing at getting the work done Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
Thank you! We have great neighbors and friends that come to help anytime we ask them and they are able to help. Makes getting the work done possible! Thank for watching.
@@802Farmers so true Andreas having great neighbour's and friends is a blessing and I'm so lucky to have the same here. Always a joy to watch your videos 👍
Corns looking good this year up there and atleast no mud to deal with so far. Filled our small bunk last week planning on the big bunk this week and hoping the weather holds nice to not have to run the dump wagons in the mud.
Great video i would like to see some more video of the new farm from what i can see its nice and glad to see you guys notice the investment that you made with new planter and hopefully saw a seed saving
I try to but early morning videos are always a bit harder to make since it is dark. Yes the planter helped a lot with seed saving. Noticed after the first 100 acres planted.
Great video! Unbelievable the amount of corn you put through chopper. Do you have to have a certain moisture amount for silage? I know I ask you before but what is different between silage and snaplige? Keep up the great work, major undertaking harvesting for two farms.
Corn silage is best at 32 -38% dry matter. Corn silage is whole plant chopped and snaplege or earlege you put a picking head or in easy terms a combine head on the chopper and it then just chops the ears.
It was our plan to put a live bottom on it since it’s such a long truck but since we just got the extra truck this year with the new farm that blue Pete will have to wait a little longer until we can do that.
It’s wonderful to watch the corn being harvested. It looks so peaceful . Great job.❤️❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It’s the best time of the year. 👍🏻
Great video of choping corn and hauling. You all do a awesome job. Thanks for another great video.
Thank you for following
You do such an awesome job with the videos. What I could see of the new farm it is a beautiful place. Thank you so much.
Thank you! It’s a very nice place. Thanks for watching
Good looking corn 😊
What we have chopped so far is been very nice for growing conditions this year

Always a joy to watch your videos 👍
Love your videos, especially when you get the kids involved. Michigan
Thank you. The kids love helping
Great video thanks for sharing ,love the rolling hills
Thank you. The hills make the trucks work pulling up them. 🤣

Nice weather makes it so much nicer. Having the drivers to run truck instead of dump wagon makes it so much faster

That caterpillar sounds good
Yes it does. Turbo is loud 👍🏻
You move right along with that chopper!
It definitely can eat a lot of feed
I'm a new subscriber - interesting channel and video 👍
Thanks for following along
I see your trees are changing hope you show us some nice fall colors when you hit peak season
Hopefully I am able to

👍🏻👍🏻 exactly
I'm surprised you guys don't put a box on that blue Pete
It was our plan to put a live bottom on it since it’s such a long truck but since we just got the extra truck this year with the new farm that blue Pete will have to wait a little longer until we can do that.
choppers got a high pitched squeal almost sounds like a belt slip or a bearing failing I never heard that last year? only whenchopping
Haven’t found anything out of ordinary yet. Still could though. Thanks for watching
So where you are constantly driving the trucks over do you have to rip it or do a deep tillage in the fall for compaction?
We have always chisel plowed all our fields in the spring before planting to get rid of any compaction.
That would be considered level ground in East Tennessee. It’s Mostly hay ground here
We try to keep the hill fields grass. But can’t always have it that way either.
1 more question how many day corn is it 😊
95 day corn
Whats beeping in that star?
I did mention in the video we don’t know what it is. We tried to figure it out. Once crops slow down it will go to a shop.
Wheres the hill? Thats not steep
No really trying to do a whole has
steeper field competition. It’s a steep hill to go on with fully loaded trucks. Gotta be careful not to roll over.
