As a ex dairy farm,, and now beef farm don't miss milking one single tiny bit... Was glad to see the back of it... It made us realise how much time was wasted in the parlour.... Other jobs being neglected because we were tied down milking...
Awesome video Andreas nice to see the Milking and feeding cows looked so content a lot of them laying down not in any rush to get up for feed. Double plastic and properly covered makes all the difference you're silage looked amazing. Do you do much of the milking yourself Andreas Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
Great video Andreas , really enjoy watching all your videos. Makes my day knowing I get to escape my life and watch yours. What do you do with the refusals from the dairy cows? Keep up the great work and look forward to your next!!!
I have been told by numerous equipment and technicians to load your forages in the mixer wagon first then your small grains and minerals last and then mix it. They say it will mix more thoroughly and save where and tear on the liner of your wagon. What are your thoughts on that?
Looks like a good day to show the day to day of being a former with animals... Its not always fun and excitement of field work... The ladies need chow.
Great video nice to see the new milking parlor. The new farm looks great. Thanks again.

Thank you. Much appreciated. I don’t milk very often since I’m feeding. But sometimes I will when needed.

They very well could be right. But we have for 25+ years done it in this order at the home farm so I wouldn’t know any different.
Last time I was in Thompson barn(before u folks took over)she had about 50 goats
Glad you folks got the place and put milkers back on it
It’s a very nice dairy farm
