Came to see Mae's gun show at the end and they had already faded the video to black! 😆😢
Same 😭
Literally the only reason I came to TH-cam, this is good marketing LOL
"What can you not pick up?!" Hilarious.
Tragedy 😭
I think something definitely went wrong there because they usually don't do that...
I love Tig's love for her family. It's so heartwarming everytime she talks about them
"Have you ever seen a child watch "The Wizard of Oz" for the last time?" is perhaps the funniest thing I've heard.
“Captain.. please! There’s bilge water on meh barnacles!” 🤣 made me cry laughing 😂
That one did not get the recognition it deserved 😂😂
"Please don't make me read!" That line made me laugh so hard I spit my coffee out, thank you for the fun start to the morning.
🤣
That was a literal plea 🤣
Lol hey there is something very empowering about solo traveling! 😂 I usually travel solo and frequent concerts alone, and it's a blast! Don't wait on anybody yall- go live your life!!
I like when you're all in the same room.
I love that this pod is on YT so we can see your faces and various shenanigans from you 3.
We love recording in person and sharing it with y'all!
justice for Mae's guns not being shown at the end when the video shuts off
Grabbed in the Dunge sounds like “locker room talk”
I would like to see the three of you do an entire podcast while treading water the whole time.
Great idea! I want to be treading water while watching that! 😆
Yes pleeeeeease
Tig having such a heartfelt moment with the moustache on 🤣 goodness
Icewine was discovered accidentally in Germany in 1794 by farmers trying to save their grape harvest after a sudden frost. In the 1980s, vintners recognized that Ontario’s cold winters would provide the perfect conditions for producing really great Icewine. Today, Canada is the world's largest producer of icewine with Germany second. 90 percent of Canada's icewine comes from Ontario. When it was first produced by Canadian wineries, my friends and I did "tasting" parties where we pretentiously rated 4 bottles from different wineries....and the more pretentious the review the more we laughed. Hearing you talk about it made me phone one of my friends and reminisce about the fun we had. Thanks Handsome Podcast from a gal in Calgary Alberta Canada (lol)
Yes! Eiswein is a national treasure of Germany. I had a tasting at a winery while visiting the Hessen region, and the wine was super delicate and sweet❤
"Choking is first base" needs to be on a shirt
As a DV survivor this is a hilarious double entendre
agreed with Tig - everyday I unplug from everything, lie down for 20-30 minutes (not to nap) but to think and sort of reboot. I close the blinds and put my fan on for the white noise. very refreshing
Shackleton was a successful expedition. The one Mae is referring to is someone from Scott's failed expedition. “I am just going outside and may be some time”. These were the last words of the Antarctic explorer Captain Lawrence Edward Grace "Titus" Oates (1880-1912) I'm a bit of a nerd for Antarctic history, having lived in New Zealand for 15 years.
The fade out a full minute and a half before they stop talking 😂😂
As a big Survivor and Parvati fan for years, I love whenever she's mentioned on the pod!
Lord when Fortune sang the Diarrhea Song
Im laughing so hard
Frozen cotton candy grapes are the best! I love how the conversation turns into so many different topics.
so good!!!!!
You all are so relatable…you fill a void in my life that I really didn’t know I was missing…just hangin with friends…preferably gay friends. Thank you to the moon and back!
❤️💖❤️
I used to nanny four kids and the middle child would sing, "Let it go, let it go, you can't break my back anymore!"
Ice wine is when the Grapes are pressed while frozen. You end up with a super sweet dessert wine 😊
I love crafting and thrifting. I'm obsessed with soapmaking and have been doing it for almost 20 years. and did it professionally for several years. I'm recovering from some literal heart damage caused by heartbreak and anxiety from 18 months ago. I was so happy to get a job working at a luxury cat hotel, where I get to care for our cat guests for the summer. It's doing wonders for my physical health.
"Can you believe I knew all the bases?" 😂 Lots of laughs and tangents! Another great one, Handsomes!
Into The Wild has hands down the best soundtrack of any movie ever. Eddie Vedder’s voice just made the experience so much better
“I would have stood up for you” ❤
Tig's hand position through this pod, I just realized right now is how I always drive in the car 😅
Due to an inability to attach successfully, I have lived my life in a mostly solitary way and it is just as odd to me to think people feel weird vacationing alone. I am always in agreeable company that wants to do what I want to do!
...i dont think its as weird as they make it sound, honestly, to enjoy spending time by yourself!...i think it can be actually really healthy for us to spend some time/go somewhere on your own!:)...it reminds me of a new girl episode (my favourite show- hilarious!), where she goes to a hotel in her own city for a night, to be by herself, and she has one of tge best nights of her life!😄...plus, it csn help u get out of your comfort zone, talking to new people (...if your feeling like it- depending how social u are- i like to, but its ok if you dont- not everyone does!)...just my own opinion ☺️❤️...thank you for the laughs and for being who u are, handsomes!...this one was SO funny! ❤️
Not the fade out before the gun show!!!! 😆😆😆
Not being derogatory about yourself is definitely an attractive quality.
“What would you call it..?” -Fortune
“Family?”-Tig
😂😂😂
Love the realness and humor of this podcast I listen and watch regularly!
I am transfixed by the grip tape on Tidges face.
What's with the fade to black and only audio at 1:06:00? We missed Mae's guns and all the hoopla to end the episode! Sheesh.
Looking forward to hearing the excuse next time 😅😂😊
I'm sure we'll hear an excuse on the next episode! 😂
Cooter to cooter… I love this PODCAST!!
Watching this pod while wearing my Pretty Little Lady t-shirt just feels so right. ❤️
12:43 "Are you sure he worked at the hotel?" 😂
I love it when Mae says "OMG" its adorable!
Hey Tig! The leather-wearing biker from The Village People called and wants his mustache back. 😛
SO FUNNYYYYY! I love when people look over at me just dying laughing in my car.
My TH-cam video stopped showing visual before Mae's muscles came out!
I know! What the heck. I came on TH-cam just to see the big guns!
I am transfixed by the rope on the wall behind Fortune Marie
This is my new favorite podcast. So much needed laughter.
Thank you for making these and please continue. You’re doing more than you know 💙💙💙
Tuned in from Brussels right on time for our lunch break at 12.30h!!! Love the pod!
I relax and distract myself (this will sound weird) by drawing people eating tacos
So happy to see these faces
Mae: you gotta call your Taskmaster pal, Jenny Eclair! She joked on her podcast that she was counting on you to help her break into the states! She's very handsome and would probably have a great question for you!
Actually, Jenny probably has MANY questions 😅 but you know what i mean.
so thankful for you guys and all your hard work! you are all so inspiring as successful lgbts hehe. but really all the work you do + this amazing podcast means the world to my lil gay self lol
- on the tips for taylor, here’s my spiel! as a grief counselor i am always teaching about burnout, self care, coping skills, etc… but it’s still hard for me to do! i absolutely felt when Fortune mentioned how we tell these people “take care of yourself” but then struggle to do it ourselves. but that is okay! that is where giving ourselves grace comes in.
so main tips from me: giving yourself at least an hour a day to do something you genuinely enjoy. even on ur busiest days give urself that time OR replace doing smthn for a nap in that hour. or at least have sit down time. for example, i’ll listen to a happy/funny podcast that’ll take me out of life stuff and give me a big laugh while doing a hands on activity (making jewelry, video gaming), or any other no effort activity. you /have/ to indulge in the things you like outside of work! as long as it doesn’t further stress you. another thing that helps me is drinking more water and having a snack. just throughout the busy day, letting myself physically pause and replenish, esp if you notice you haven’t in a while! and again, just giving yourself more grace. this can be so hard, but meet yourself where you’re at, and see where you can fit in the healthier routine choices. it might stick for a while, it then might fall off, that is then when you say “that’s okay, i’m not going to beat myself up over it and try something else”.
just like tig said, this is stuff i work on a everyday still! it’s all about taking care of yourself in a way that doesn’t stress you out more. life is tough but we all got this!
and again truly, ya’ll and this podcast is apart of my feel better routine. amongst busy work and recent life news i’ve gotten, listening to ya’ll made me laugh and remember that i’m okay. thank you guys 🩷
I feel like Mae and Fortune miss a lot of Tig’s zingers lol
I love how all three of you look in this episode! I can see summer through you ;)
my wife is latina and she said she appreciates when people say their words as they were intended
Buy a massage gun (and vibrating foam roller if you like foam rollers) and use it/them at night to relax you, and also before and/or after working out!
What a podcast!
Thank you for another great show! I recently got my partner the handsome t-shirt and she loves it.
I am obviously not famous nor do I travel the way you all do. But, my partner and I will celebrate 25 years together and 10 married this coming fall. There are many, many things about our relationship that make me so proud, but one of best is that we did figure out how to make our own traditions. In the beginning, we had to hide our relationship from our families. That meant holidays were often spent apart. But, we developed our own traditions surrounding Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, etc. We wanted those to be ours. It didn’t matter that celebrated Christmas a week late or Thanksgiving was four days early. We did our own thing and it really helped both of us to realize what was important to us as a couple, but also us as individuals. We were very young when we first got together and those traditions carried us through a lot because even when we were on shaky ground, we didn’t break those. Again, I’m not famous, but I would tell Taylor or Fortune or anyone, really, carve out special time or moments for yourself or with a partner. Do something that makes you feel good, makes you feel the magic, makes you feel wonder and joy. I know, probably sounds simple and corny. But it couldn’t hurt. PS our 24th/ 9th wedding anniversary present was seeing Fortune in Charleston, WV this past fall.
I loved John Krakauer’s book too! I lost my copy that had so many notes in it :( I am new to the pod-loving it- thank you! I would be happy to join a handsome book club
Y'all got me eating frozen grapes now. :)
great episode 😂😂😂😂I laughed so hard ❤❤❤
I LOVE Fortune's GUTS to travel solo, and she inspires me to do the same! I have before, but for some reason, it feels more comfortable in Europe. It feels more shameful elsewhere for some reason. 🤔 I've traveled solo to Alicante, Spain from Granada, Spain in 2006 🇪🇸 and Mar 2024 New Orleans, LA, too! Both were wonderful but very different experiences 😂
Eiswein is when the grapes have been frozen before pressing. Usually it occurs naturally in cold climates (not just Canada but it’s very popular there!) with early frost seasons. The freezing concentrates the sugars and the resulting wine is quite sweet. There’s also Sauternes, from France, that is also a sweet “dessert” wine, made from grapes that developed bortrytis, also called noble rot, that honeys the pulp and makes the most delicious wines. The winemaker stops fermentation early, so the wines stay sweet, and generally have a lower alcohol content. Here for all your wine question needs!
I really love that the Canadian is the only one who took their socks off
One of the first! Love this Pod.
I heard Fortune say Best Fiends, and I've been playing it during the podcast.
Yeahhhhhh.... God I love this podcast!! ❤
Good morning handsomes and PLL’s.
Gmorn. Pll.
Anyone seen the cult classic movie called “Cabin Boy “
I’m imagining a remake of that movie but with the handsome pod as the cast 😂
Omg it would be the best thing ever 😂😂😂😂
Yayyyy🎉into the wild is the best !
I read a book while I tread water.
This podcast pressured me into trying treading water 😄
OK gals. i"m an LMP ( licensed massage practitioner) and YES regular massage is SO important to avoid burnout, help your whole self have better immune response, decease muscle tension from stress etc! Also Cranio Sacral is supposed to be the opposite of "bone cracking" its a gentle form of bodywork the practitioner must practice what we call " subtle palpation" skills tuning into the pulse of our Cerebral spinal fluid as it flows and affects the connective tissue along the spine, developed by an Osteopathic MD Dr John Upledger....it can help babies after birth, and trauma /ptsd it is known to be Gentle but deep.
Ice wine started in Germany, but Canada makes it better. Sparking ice wine is the best
Myofascial pain therapy with therapists licensed to perform these types of adjustments MAY involve intervention Inside your mouth in order to move your jawline or palette. Just think of it as your skull being part of the total body healing. However- I would only allow this if I saw those “ sterile” gloves put on at that moment of intervention. It IS possible that he didn’t do this and you picked up some sort of contamination. As a world traveler I always take along pepto bismol, famotidine- these are both over the counter- and have your Dr. write you a prescription for an antibiotic for“ Travelers Diarrhea- so that the moment you know you’re about to have “ an event”- that you recognize as not the normal diarrhea you’d experience from eating the wrong food or bad water or even as the result of too much alcohol. By having that antibiotic with you and starting a short regimen you can potentially stop your illness from ruining your vacation by being stuck in your room. For myself- and as much traveling outside the US as I’ve done- I got the TD in Thailand after using tap water for 10 days- to brush my teeth. Always drink - or use- bottled water!
And my long term habit I perform before I leave is to take an extra big dose of my probiotics and then use normally every day of the trip especially to counteract the negative results to your gut of taking antibiotics.
Great podcast- I’m laughing all the way down the road….
Same thing with my best friend from China…I pronounce it EXACTLY how she says it and she’s like…no no
Love y'all
2:28 Tig holding Mae's hand ... They've come a long way since that pineapple in Colbert's episode 😉🍍
ha Mae my husband is obsessed with the Shackleton expedition, reads all sorts of books on it, and has told me that chilling (pun intended) tale many times.
Love this show! It cheers me up! Tig should totally check out Kathy Hester - she is the best WFPB chef online - I actually think I can be vegan because of her.
That fade to black tho hahha
FROZEN GRAPES FTW 🍇 ❤
We have heard the Edinburgh dungeon story before somewhere 😅
Is it weird that I was hoping and expected Taylor's question to be a video ??
Frozen blueberries are the BEST!
Lol, I love that the tag for you tube was not visible on you tube
Ice wine!! ❤ it’s a thing. They harvest the grapes after the first frost I think. Tasty.
We have ice wine in Indiana...Country Heritage winery makes some.
Yes to book club
The greatest
We can’t see Mae 😂
So not fair 😩 the good last bits didn't show on the TH-cam. It faded to black and stayed black.
8.59pm Tuesday 28th in Melb Australia -catching the pod in bed !
Yay handsome pod in bed! Me too.
😂 My ex and I had the same discussion about how to say insurance. 😆 This must be common. Oh and coupon... I say it like Q-pon, she says coo-pon
the gumbo joke is tragically underrated
English is not my native language. What did this joke mean? Please explain if you can be so kind. Thank you!
Taylor tip work less like Tig said for sure!
It’s back 🥸
Sounds like Norovirus, Mae. Our family recently went through it in Mexico from fruit
I’ve given up wondering which ep is the best. My gawd this is THE best ❤️ ps tho I think it was Jen Anistons one is tippy top 🤓
Please..."Can I tell you something? Cooter to cooter" needs to be on something.
Ummmmm, YES!!! to book club.
